9/30/05
According to police reports:
A resident reported the paint on his vehicle was chipped by candy being
thrown during a parade in the 300 block of South Main Street Thursday at
6:15 p.m.
Possible child endangering was reported after the door opened on a
vehicle, as it rounded a corner in the Marysville Mobile Home Park, and
a 5-year-old girl fell out of a vehicle onto the roadway. The incident
occurred Thursday at 8:28 p.m.
Two tires were reportedly slashed on a vehicle parked in the 500 block
of Allenby Drive Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
A business in the 900 block of West Fifth Street reported receiving
forged checks for the amount of $1,800 Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
In the 13000 block of Watkins Road, a resident reported today that
unauthorized charges of $492.29 were made on her credit card.
A man left his disabled vehicle on Converse Road Tuesday and when he
returned on Thursday at 9 a.m. several windows were broken as well as
headlights and taillights.
Sometime on Thursday an aluminum rowboat was stolen from property in the
32000 block of Route 37.

According to police reports:
Ardana Jessing, 35, of 714 E. Fifth St. was charged with assault after
she reportedly struck a 24-year-old man at her home Wednesday at 3:35
p.m.
Today at 1:09 a.m. several people were charged after they were found
walking along Milford Avenue at Kenny Lane. Shane Griffus, 18, of Plain
City was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. When confronted,
one of the suspects fled the scene. James L. Marcum, 18, of Columbus was
later found hiding in the attic of an apartment. He had lied about his
name and was subsequently charged with two counts of obstructing
official business and one count of falsification.
A 14-year-old male was charged with unruliness after he ran away from
home in the 200 block of West Seventh Street. He was later found
Wednesday at 9:32 p.m. in a home on Fourth Street.
A business in the 100 block of West Seventh Street reported receiving
several bad checks, totaling more than $3,000 in losses Wednesday at
4:23 p.m. The report is under investigation.
Wednesday between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. a check was stolen from a vehicle
parked in the 100 block of East Sixth Street.
According to sheriff's reports:
Charges are pending against a man who tried to conceal a bottle of
alcohol and a sausage product, valued at $24.47 in merchandise, in his
clothing at a store in the 18000 block of Main Street in Broadway on
Sept. 22.
According to OSP reports:
One person was injured in a crash in Jerome Township Wednesday at 8 a.m.
Michael S. May, Jr., 26, of Plain City was traveling northbound on
Jerome Road when he attempted to turn left into a private drive. Gene A.
Slane, 28, of Ostrander was traveling southbound in the oncoming lane
when he was struck by May's vehicle. Slane then was forced off the to
the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. May was reportedly
injured and transferred by Jerome Township medics to Riverside Hospital.

9/28/05
According to police reports:
Police are investigating a report that an 8-year-old male was allegedly
struck by a relative on Monday on Red Pine Drive.
A DVD player was stolen from an apartment in the 600 block of Watkins
Glen Boulevard Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Equipment possibly belonging to a local telephone company was recovered
on East Fifth Street at Cherry Street Tuesday at 10 a.m.

According to OSP reports:
A 21-year-old Marysville male was seriously injured in a motorcycle
crash today in Champaign County. The man, whose name was not available
at press time, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle and lost control as
he was heading northbound on Route 559 at Route 161. The motorcycle
overturned and the man was ejected from the bike. He reportedly was not
wearing a helmet. He was MedFlighted to Grant Medical Hospital and
remains in critical condition. The name of the injured man is expected
to be released later today or Thursday.
One person was injured in a two-car crash on Post Road Tuesday. At 8:30
a.m. Glenn A. Wheeler, 44, of Plain City, was traveling westbound on
Post Road. At the same time, Lugo F. Santos, 31, of Columbus, was
eastbound on Post Road when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto
Highland Croy Road and went into the path of Wheeler's vehicle.
Wheeler's vehicle was hit on the left side, causing it to spin out of
control. Wheeler was injured and transported by medics to Riverside
Hospital where he was treated and later released. Santos was cited for
failure to yield.

9/27/05
According to police reports:
Teresa L. Hudson, 41, of 610 Kenny Lane was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated, possession of an open container of alcohol, driving
under suspension and driving outside of marked lane after a traffic stop
on London Avenue Sunday at 4:58 p.m.
Crystal D. Yates, 21, of Marion was charged with falsification Sunday at
about 5 p.m. after she used her sister's name as her own. Police
reported Yates was picked up in Marion and handed over to Marysville
Police for an outstanding warrant. In Marysville's custody, she gave
officers the name of Brittany Yates, her sister. Police then discovered
that there was an outstanding warrant for Brittany Yates. It was later
discovered Crystal Yates had provided the wrong name and was charged.
A purse, cash and a cell phone were stolen from the 200 block of East
Fifth Street Sunday at 3:30 a.m.
Crystal Goodson, 40, of 549 Amrine Mill Road was arrested for disorderly
conduct Sunday at 1:53 a.m. Goodson was found wearing no pants on North
Main Street. Potential drug charges are pending laboratory results on
items found in her purse.
Three males and a female reportedly smashed the window in the lobby of
the Super 8 motel Sunday night.
Michael J. Cook, 24, of Richwood was charged with possession of
marijuana after a stop on Route 4 at Scott Farms Boulevard Saturday at
about 11 p.m.
Aaron Cassady, 24, of Powell was charged with possession of an open
container of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and cocaine
Sunday at 6:03 p.m. and his brother Jason P. Cassady, 28, of Columbus
was charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and
possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in Marysville.
Golf clubs were stolen from a garage on Fawn Meadows Drive sometime
between Sept. 17 and Saturday.
Cash was stolen from a purse Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of
North Main Street.
Several people were arrested for underage drinking in the 1200 block of
Valley Drive Saturday at 3:54 a.m. Brittany Hill, 18, of Delaware, two
17-year-old males from Delaware and Daniel Womeldorff, 20, of 1288
Valley Drive were all charged. Charges are pending against others at the
scene. They were found parked along the road, as one of the 17-year-old
males was "constantly vomiting." The sick male was transported for
hospital care by Marysville medics.
Tammy K. Rice, 30, of 246 W. Fourth St. was charged with endangering
children after her 7-year-old girl woke up at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday and
called police after she discovered her mother was not home. At the home,
Rice was found passed out in her vehicle parked out front. Police also
charged Aletha Glass, 19, of Milford Center  for an outstanding warrant.
She was in the back of the house.
Thomas E. Gordon, Jr., 31, of 316 W. Fifth St. was charged with
disorderly conduct after he was reportedly found at the downtown Shell
gas station in the 300 block of East Fifth Street, in a heavily
intoxicated state. He was falling on items in the store and eating food
he had not purchased at 2:23 a.m. on Saturday.
Cordell J. Hicks, 18, of 532 Surrey Lane was charged with possession of
alcohol and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Sixth and Plum
streets Saturday at 1:05 a.m. A 15-year-old male was also charged with
underage possession of alcohol.
A green and black Mongoose bike was stolen from property in the 200
block of Greenwood Boulevard Friday at 9 p.m.
Mail was stolen from a mailbox Friday in the 100 block of North Main
Street.
Two bikes were stolen from a yard in the 600 block of Milford Avenue
Friday at 3:10 p.m.
A driver reported an unknown person on a Marysville school bus threw an
object at his windshield on Elwood Avenue at 3 p.m. on Friday.
Cash was reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of North Main
Street, after a person forced entry inside and took the money from the
register Thursday night or Friday morning.
According to sheriff's reports:
Items were stolen from a vehicle parked on east Center Street in Milford
Center Tuesday night.
Nathan Kyle, 35, of Richwood was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and for
driving with an open container of alcohol Saturday at 1:03 a.m. on Route
47 at Landon Road. Kyle had crashed his car into a ditch.
An ATV was stolen from a detached garage in the 20000 block of Wolford
Maskill Road sometime between Wednesday and Saturday.
Anthony D. Yates, 23, of Richwood was arrested after he led deputies on
a road chase Friday just after 7 a.m. Yates was clocked going more than
70 mph on Route 4 on his motorcycle. He did not stop on the request of
officers and fled at speeds in excess of 100 mph southbound until he
stopped north of U.S. 33 in a parking lot where he worked. He was
charged with failure to comply with police orders.
Kathryn MacGuire, 18, of 686 W. Third St. and Lauryn A. Cook, 19, of
25230 Yearsley Road were charged with underage drinking after they were
found walking in the 10000 block of Betty Lane Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
According to OSP reports:
Jamie Quinton, 20, of Bellefontaine was injured after a crash in York
Township Sunday at 4:55 a.m. Quinton was traveling southbound on Route
739 when he lost control and went off the right side of the road,
striking a road sign, overturned and struck a utility pole.
Jason Burns, 31, of Prospect was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic stop on Route 4 Saturday at 1:48 a.m.

9/23/05
According to police reports:
Several businesses in downtown Marysville suffered breaking and entering
attempts over Thursday night. The back door was forced open at Goodies
galore in the 100 block of East Fifth Street, although nothing was
reported missing. Other businesses such as Union Electronic and the Pawn
Shop, both in the 100 block of North Main Street, had breaking and
entering attempts made. Entry was not gained to either business.
A car stereo was stolen out of a vehicle Thursday night on Aspen Drive.
Glen A Birchfield, Jr., 21, of Raymond was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated and failure to control today at 1:26 a.m. Birchfield
reportedly crashed into a tree in the 200 block of West Eighth Street.
A counterfeit $20 bill was passed as real currency at the United Dairy
Farmers business on East Fifth Street Thursday.
Money was reported stolen from a Huntington Bank checking account
sometime since July. The victim reported the theft from the 100 block of
Northcrest Drive on Thursday.
Police raided an underage party in the 200 block of North Court Street
Thursday at 1:21 a.m. Michael B. Carl, 20, of 1010 Coventry Place;
Christopher A. Shields, 19, of 88 Cottonwood drive; and Megan Miketa,
19, of 818 Lakeview Drive were all cited for underage consumption of
alcohol. Charges are pending against an adult who facilitated the party.

Change was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of West
Seventh Street sometime between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
Timothy Bollack, 24, of 617 E. Sixth St. was charged with child
endangering after his two-year-old child was found wandering on east
Sixth Street without any shoes Wednesday at 4:38 p.m.
A Honda dirt bike was reported stolen from a shed in the 200 block of
Magnolia Drive Tuesday night.
According to sheriff's reports:
Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. deputies responded to a domestic violence
incident on Reed Street in Milford Center. Potential charges are pending
against a 23-year-old female for an incident involving the father of her
child.
Deputies are investigating whether or not white pills found inside a
vehicle are an illegal drug or not. A vehicle was stopped today at 12:05
a.m. on Route 4, south of County Home Road for speeding. A canine
officer searched the car and found the pills. Potential charges could be
filed against a 21-year-old Cardington male.
According to OSP reports:
The state patrol report on the Thursday morning train crash was provided
today.
CSX train conductor Mark Farms, 46, of Median was traveling southeast on
the rail line. At the same time, Joe Huber, 23, of Cincinnati was
backing up his 1996 Dodge van westbound over the tracks on Dog Leg Road.
The train struck the van in the left rear, causing the vehicle to
overturn into the grass.
Huber suffered minor visible injuries and was transported by Marysville
medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County. His passenger, John Keller,
21, of Silverton also suffered minor injuries and was transported to the
same location.
The patrol reported that Huber and Keller were working on Dog Leg Road,
trying to find a radio tower in the area with a GPI system. When they
realized they had passed the tower, Huber backed the van up and into the
path of the train. He was cited for failure to yield at a railroad
crossing.
According to fire reports:
The Marysville Fire Department responded to a barn fire at 12891 Brown
Moder Road today at 4:22 a.m.
Chief Gary Johnson said the fire resulted in a total loss of the barn.
No animals or people were injured. Crews stayed on the scene until 7:35
a.m.
Johnson said the cause of the fire is currently under investigation and
that it is unknown at this time if it was caused by the heavy lightening
produced by the storm.

9/22/05
According to sheriff's reports:
Sometime Monday night an unknown person sprayed graffiti on the west
side doors of the Union County building on Sixth Street. The damaged was
listed at $100.
A total of $1,100 in items, such as CDs and stereo, etc., were stolen
from a vehicle parked on Pleasant Street in Milford Center Tuesday
night.
Wednesday a business in the 13000 block of Bell Road was broken into.
Nothing was reported stolen.

9/20/05
According to police reports:
Charges are pending against Jeffrey A. Jackson, 37, of 657 London Ave.
for animal cruelty. As police responded to his home for a potential
domestic dispute, officers witnessed Jackson become irate and pick up
his Husky breed canine and throw the animal against a wall.
Lisa A. Phillips, 40, of 263 W. Third St. was charged with disorderly
conduct after she was reportedly intoxicated and disruptive at the
Waffle House today at 3:43 a.m.
Attempted breaking and entering was reported Monday, from an incident
that occurred between 6 and 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Springwood Lane.
Pry marks were found on the door although no entry was made.
A black Mongoose bicycle was stolen from the Marysville Public Library
between 3:50 and 5 p.m. Monday.
A NEX bicycle and a GT bicycle were stolen from a storage unit on
Greenwood Boulevard at around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
A resident in the 900 block of Watkins Glen Boulevard reported an
unknown person used his name and identification to start a cell phone
service in April of 2002. The theft was reported on Monday.
Two burglaries were reported to have occurred sometime over the weekend.
A home in the 500 block of Quail Hollow Drive was entered, although
nothing has been reported stolen at this time. Another home in the 600
block of Milcrest Drive was entered and prescription Oxycontin was
stolen.
A stove and a refrigerator were stolen from the 100 block of North Main
Street, sometime over the weekend.
According to sheriff's reports:
The rear window of a vehicle parked in the 19000 block of Smokey Road
was smashed out sometime between Friday and Monday.
A 1993 Honda was reportedly parked at the end of a driveway in the 21000
block of Westlake Lee Road since Thursday. On Monday it was reported
that an unknown person broke two mirrors, slashed three tires and broke
a headlight, causing around $2,000 in damages.
Deputies are investigating an incident of gross sexual imposition that
occurred in the 18000 block of Whitestone Road. The Department of Human
Services reported a father allegedly touched his 11-year-old daughter in
an inappropriate way Monday at around 5 p.m. The report is currently
under investigation.
A resident in the 10000 block of Watkins Road reported that a suspect
living at the home for some time possibly stole two pieces of jewelry
between Aug. 20 and 30. The items were valued at $800.
According to OSP reports:
David Brown, 38, of 20860 Barker Road was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 Saturday at 2:52
a.m.

9/19/05
According to police reports:
A cement lawn ornament was stolen from a property in the 600 block of
Allenby Drive Thursday night.
A male and female reportedly stole teeth whitener from Kroger on West
Fifth Street, Saturday at 6 p.m. The two fled the store and drove off on
a motorcycle. No charges have been filed at this time.
Charges are pending on an assault Friday at 9 p.m. at the Marysville
High School football game in the 800 block of Amrine Mill Road. One male
allegedly shoved another male during a dispute over a female.
A bicycle was stolen from a property in the 200 block of Greenwood
Boulevard Thursday between 3 and 5 p.m.
Fraudulent withdrawals were reportedly made from an account with a bank
in the 1000 block of West Fifth Street sometime from Sept. 12 to
Tuesday.
Kyle Gillum, 18, of 694 N. Maple St. was charged with disorderly conduct
after he was found shouting obscenities outside of his home during a
dispute Sunday at 9:45 p.m.
Ryan D. McGomery, 22, of Rushville was charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated and license violations after he was reportedly witnessed
swerving in the road on Delaware Avenue at Coleman's Crossing Saturday
at 7:30 a.m.
William R. Coder, 48, of 437 W. Seventh St. was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes Saturday at 2:26
a.m. at Sixth and Maple streets after police reportedly witnessed him
swerving in the road.
According to sheriff's reports:
Around $200 in cash was stolen from the cash register of a business in
the 7300 block of Industrial Parkway Thursday night.
Stormy D. McCue, 25, of 900 Watkins Glen Blvd. was charged with theft
Friday after stealing a tire gauge from CJ's Market.
Renzo Padovan, 46, of Magnetic Springs was charged with persistent
disorderly conduct and possession of an open container of alcohol after
he and another male were reportedly harassing customers outside of the
Pit Stop on Route 4. Padovan was intoxicated and allegedly making sexual
gestures to customers Saturday at 6:28 p.m.
Scott W. Anderson, 28, of 13699 U.S. 36 E. was charged with domestic
violence Sunday at 2:48 a.m. after an altercation with his wife at their
home.
A resident in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 E. reported an unknown person
has been fraudulently using a paypal account to purchase $191 of
merchandise Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
According to OSP reports:
Asano Hirokazu, 45, of Bellefontaine was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 Saturday at 11:21
p.m.

9/16/05
According to police reports:
Several credit cards were recovered in the 1200 block of West Fifth
Street Thursday at 1:20 p.m. The property is suspected to be the result
of a previous theft.
An auto business in the 1500 block of U.S. 36 East reported bad checks
Thursday. One check, valued at $140, was written in July and another for
$625 was written to the business in June.
According to sheriff's reports:
A woman in the 21000 block of Raymond Road reported being struck in the
face by her fiancÚ Thursday at 1:30 a.m. Domestic violence charges are
pending.
According to OSP reports:
Two people were injured in an accident Thursday at 1 p.m. Kenneth
Thompson, 58, of Kentucky was traveling northbound on Route 4 when he
intentionally went off the east side of the road to avoid an oncoming
vehicle. He then drove into the ditch and rolled his vehicle over.
Thompson suffered minor injuries and was transported by Liberty Township
medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County. Rebecca Jackson-Thompson,
57, of the same address also suffered minor injuries and was transported
by Marysville medics to the same location.
Jill Johnson, 37, of 643 Parkway Drive was arrested today at 3:03 a.m.
for operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop at U.S. 33 near
Post Road.

9/14/05
According to police reports:
Marysville Police assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the pursuit of a
stolen vehicle today at 2:35 a.m. At that time a black Chevy Tahoe, with
West Virginia plates was observed at the U.S. 33 rest area. It was
discovered to be stolen. Law enforcement chased the driver to Mackan
Road, where they recovered the vehicle. The driver had fled the scene on
foot. Police are now on the lookout for a white male in his mid-30s,
wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police are investigating a possible physical abuse of a 4-year-old
child, reported Tuesday at 5 p.m. from the 200 block of East Greenwood
Boulevard.
An employee from a carpet store reportedly has been selling merchandise
without permission, as reported Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. from the store
located on Columbus Avenue.
Krista S. Pyles, 24, of 760 Meadows Drive was charged with theft after
she reportedly stole hair product from a salon Tuesday. While being
arrested, officers found Pyles was in possession of possible illegal
pills. Drugs charges are pending.
An unknown person reportedly vandalized a home by writing words on the
side sometime between Friday and Sunday in the 300 block of Springwood
Lane.
A man in the 200 block of West Third Street claimed that he heard on
Tuesday that someone had threatened to shoot him. He reported menacing
to police.
A leaf blower was stolen from a property in the 200 block of main
Street, sometime since Aug. 13.
A 13-year male was charged with disorderly conduct Monday at 1 p.m.
after he repeatedly disrupted a class at the Marysville Middle School.
He was throwing paper wads at the teacher and yelling, "It's a bomb!"
According to sheriff's reports:
Tuesday at 11:18 a.m. a woman in the 25000 block of Storms Road reported
an unknown student from Marysville High School is repeatedly making
prank calls about her juvenile child.
A secured power sub station, located in the 22000 block of Reed Road
was, broken into overnight Monday and 200 feet of copper wiring was
stolen.
According to OSP reports:
Monday at 5:58 p.m. one person was injured in a two-car crash in Jerome
Township. Dorothy M. Miller, 27, of Dublin was traveling westbound on
Industrial parkway. At the same time Roy A. Walde, Jr., 39, of Fulton
was headed northbound on Mitchell Dewitt Road. Miller failed to yield at
a stop sign and drove into oncoming traffic, striking Walde's vehicle in
the right front. Walde was injured and transported by medics to Memorial
Hospital of Union County. Miller was cited for failure to yield.

9/13/05
According to police reports:
The property manager of a residence in the 600 block of Kenny Lane
reported that someone smashed a window on a home by throwing a jar of
pickles at it. The incident occurred sometime on Saturday and was
reported on Monday afternoon.
Potential assault charges are pending a review by the Union County
Prosecutor's Office. Monday at 5:30 p.m. a 39-year-old female became
involved in a physical altercation with a 51-year-old female in the 300
block of Burger Street.
Personal items were stolen out of residence in the 300 block of South
Court Street Monday at 4:30 p.m. after a known suspect was trespassing
on the property.
A total of $1,000 was discovered fraudulently charged to a 1000 block
Sherwood Drive resident's credit card that occurred sometime since May.
According to sheriff's reports:
Building materials valued at $1,470 were stolen from a construction site
in the 15000 block of Paver Barnes Road sometime between Friday and
Monday.
A 220 Yamaha dirt bike valued at $1,330 was stolen from an unlocked shed
in the 20000 block of Wolford Maskill Road sometime over the weekend.
On Monday a resident in the 21000 block of main Street in Raymond
reported purchasing $70 in flower bulbs for a local organization, but
has still not received the merchandise. The report is being
investigated.

9/12/05
According to police reports:
One man assaulted police officers before being arrested Saturday night
at 10 p.m. William M. Weikart, 25, of 650 Kenny Lane was arrested for
felony assault. Police were called to his home after an 18-year-old
female victim reported he had tried to strangle her with a phone cord.
Weikart then resisted arrest and injured an officer. He was Tasered and
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County to check for injuries.
At the hospital, he became belligerent again and assaulted another
officer, before he was subdued and transported to jail.
A vehicle was reportedly shot four to six times with a BB gun Friday
night at 11 p.m.
Jonathan Lee Troyer, 23, of London was charged with disorderly conduct
after he was found breaking into vehicles parked in the 700 block of
Meadows Drive Saturday at 6:40 a.m.
Burglary was reported after a power washer was stolen from a garage in
the 500 block of Hickory Drive.
Richard John Michael Ryan, 19, of 128 1/2 W. Fourth St. Was charged with
possession of a dangerous ordnance after he reportedly tossed homemade
chemical bombs off of a roof on Fourth Street at Court Street, Saturday
at 2 a.m.
A bicycle was stolen from the 200 block of North Plum Street Friday
night.
According to sheriff's reports:
A potential child abuse incident is being investigated, after bruises
were found on an 11-year-old male in the 13000 block of Route 347,
sometime between Aug. 7 and 27.
Roberta Moore, 42, of 11480 U.S. 36 at lot 17 was cited for disorderly
conduct Sunday at 10:50 p.m. after she was verbally threatening a man at
her home and had to be subdued by deputies.
Michael Way, 42, of Plain City was cited for contributing to the
delinquency of a minor Saturday night at a party in the 13000 block of
Robinson Road that had underage drinking going on. A 16-year-old male
was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol.
A possible sexual assault is being investigated after a 19-year-old
woman reported waking up in a confused state Saturday in the 9000 block
of Warner Road.
Jonathon Chambers, 25, of Maumee was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes Saturday at 2:58 a.m. on
Industrial Parkway at Scottslawn Road.
The possible abuse/neglect of an elderly man was reported Saturday at
3:42 p.m. in the 1200 block of Bates Road.
A laptop computer and a day planner, valued at $2,700, were stolen from
a vehicle parked on East State Street Friday night.
Two men fled property in the 22000 block of Treaty Line Road after the
homeowner found them in her garage Friday at 9:30 a.m.
According to OSP reports:
One man was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash Friday at 11:40
a.m. in Union Township. Edward M. Zezlinda, 55, of Grafton was traveling
southbound on Route 4 at Route 161 when he lost control on a curve and
went off the left side of the road. The motorcycle struck a ditch and he
was ejected. Zezlinda was MedFlighted  to Grant Medical Hospital.
On Sunday at 11:50 a.m. one man was injured after a crash in Darby
Township. Diane M. Lane, 42, of 214 N. Maple St. was driving southbound
on Route 38 when she went off the right side of the road and struck a
ditch. She was cited for failure to control her vehicle and transported
by a personal vehicle to Memorial Hospital of Union County.

According to police reports:
David Duncan, 28, of 1024 Coventry Place. Apt. C was arrested for
domestic violence after he struck a female during an argument at his
home on Monday.
Tires were slashed on a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Milford
Avenue Wednesday night.
According to sheriff's reports:
A total of $1,650 in building materials were stolen from a construction
site in the 7800 block of Rickard Road, sometime between July 20 and 22.

A 16-year-old male was charged with domestic violence and unruliness
after he reportedly threw a glass jar at his mother during an argument
at their home in the 15000 block of Hillview Road Wednesday. The jar
struck the stove door and shattered.
Pamela C. Sell, 37, of Dublin was charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated Thursday at 2:18 a.m. on North Main Street in Marysville.

According to police reports:
Deborah L. Williams, 52, of North Lewisburg, was arrested for operating
her vehicle intoxicated, driving under suspension and driving outside of
marked lanes Tuesday at 10:44 p.m. on West Fifth Street.
Construction equipment was stolen from a property in the 500 block of
Fairwood Avenue sometime between Friday and Monday.
A wallet was stolen out of an unlocked car parked in the 200 block of
Burger Street Tuesday night.
According to sheriff's reports:
An ATV, valued at $2,100, was stolen out of a garage in the 8000 block
of Wells Road sometime between Aug. 28 and Sunday.
A total of $2,200 was stolen from a dresser drawer in a residence in the
10000 block of Route 739 sometime between Thursday and Monday.
The doors to a women's restroom in the 18000 block of Main Street in
Broadway were reported damaged between Friday and Tuesday.
The front window of a trailer was broken in the 13000 block of Jerome
Road between Saturday and Tuesday.
Criminal trespassing was reported Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. in the 8100 block
of Jerome Road. Two males attempted to steal a white box trailer,
containing four snow mobiles. The two were stopped, but fled the scene.
Sunday at 11:22 p.m. a deputy drew his weapon on a male driver after a
traffic stop in the 300 block of East Fifth Street. A vehicle was
observed with expired tags. When he was pulled over the officer noticed
a weapon tucked between the leg and center console inside the car. The
deputy drew his weapon and that was when he learned the gun was just an
air rifle. He was only cited for having expired tags.
A total of $350 in cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 27000 block of
Newton Perkins Road Monday at 12:30 p.m.
Justin Foley, 21, of Richwood, was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia after he was found intoxicated with a marijuana a pipe
today at 1:23 a.m. on North Franklin Street in Richwood.
Tools and a radar detector were stolen from a vehicle parked in the
21000 block of Route 31 Saturday.
According to OSP reports:
Tammy Kennedy, 40, whose address was not listed, was arrested for
operating a vehicle intoxicated Tuesday at 8:12 p.m. at the rest area on
U.S. 33.
One man was injured in a crash in Paris Township this weekend after a
police chase.
Terence L. Wilson, 34, of Dayton was cited for failure to control his
vehicle after he crashed Sunday at 12:56 a.m. on U.S. 33 at Route 31.
Wilson was reportedly being pursued by police westbound on U.S. 33 when
he drove over stop sticks, which punctured both rear tires. His vehicle
swerved across the road a couple times and then went off the right side
as he went towards the exit to Route 31. The car struck a traffic sign
and then stopped. Out of two other passengers, Bryant L. Crowley, 30, of
Springfield, was injured and transported by Marysville medics to
Memorial Hospital of Union County. Reports on why Wilson was being
pursued by law enforcement were not available before press time.
Tiffany Widner, 22, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated Thursday at 11:33 p.m. on U.S. 33.
Janell E. Ahrns, 34, of 1037 Sherwood Drive was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated Friday at 6:18 p.m. after a traffic stop on Route
31.
Shane Rittenhouse, 26, of Springfield was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated Saturday at 2:42 a.m. on Route 31.
Michael Berger, 48, of Grandview was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated Saturday at 11:45 p.m. after a traffic stop on U.S. 33.

According to police reports:
John Rister, Jr., 35, of 249 Dogwood Drive was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated Monday at 10:31 p.m. on North Main Street after a
traffic stop.
Derek West, 20, of 142 Buerger St. was charged with trespassing after he
was caught attempting to break into a vehicle in the 800 block of
Lakeview Drive Monday at 11:40 p.m. He was with another person who fled
the scene. West was apprehended by the property owner.
A 16-year-old female was charged with domestic violence Monday at 11:15
a.m. after threatening her family during an argument in the 200 block of
West Third Street.
William Riffe, Jr., 47, of Columbus was charged with public indecency
after he was caught urinating by a truck as workers were unloading
merchandise Monday at 11 a.m. at Wal-Mart on U.S. 36 East.
Jason E. Tatman, 28, of 855 Watkins Glen Blvd. was charged with
operating a vehicle intoxicated after he was found driving on the
sidewalk on Delaware Avenue at Cherry Street Monday at 3:48 a.m.
Lucas E. Grimes, 20, of 229 N. Court St. was charged with disorderly
conduct and Tiffany M. Giles, 19, of 130 W. Third St. was charged with
criminal damaging and disorderly conduct after the two were fighting at
Grimes' home Sunday at 11:06 p.m. Giles also punched out a window and
injured her arm. She was transported by Marysville medics to Memorial
Hospital; of Union County.
A satellite radio was stolen from an unlocked car Saturday night in the
500 block of Restoration Drive.
A DVD and a GPS device were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500
block of restoration Drive Saturday night.
Julia E. Graham, 24, of 1600 Valley Drive was charged with possession of
marijuana and drug paraphernalia Saturday at 9:56 p.m. on Mill Road.
Anthony Reddings, 36, of Mt. Gilead was charged with disorderly conduct
after he was found intoxicated on North Main Street Sunday at 11:15 p.m.

Renata M. Coe, 25, of 508 Meadows Drive and Anthony Cook, 19, of 540
Watkins Glen Blvd. were charged with child endangering after they
reportedly left their children (ages 5 and 3 years old) at a residence
in the 500 block of Meadows Drive while they went to work Saturday at 6
a.m.
Liela D. Irvin, 40, of 1305 Millstone Drive was charged with disorderly
conduct after she was highly intoxicated and had shut herself in a
stranger' vehicle behind a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street
Saturday at 2:33 a.m.
Roosevelt Irvy, 50, of 432 Allenby drive was charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia Friday at 11:05 p.m. at the Shell gas station on East
Fifth Street after a glass pipe was found in his front pocket. Irvy was
also arrested on an outstanding domestic violence warrant.
A resident in the 1100 block of West Fifth Street reported that a total
of $5,800 was stolen from his bank account Friday at 4:45 p.m.
A digital camera was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of
Vankirk Drive overnight Thursday.
According to sheriff's reports:
Deputies were involved in two pursuits over the holiday weekend.
On Saturday at 1:17 a.m. deputies arrested Gary Lamb, 30, of Delaware
and charged him with obstructing police business. Lamb was driving
erratically at Hopewell Road, when he was spotted by a deputy. Lamb sped
up the vehicle and then stopped in a private drive. Lamb's passenger got
out and fled the scene on foot. Deputies attempted to stop the man with
a taser, but ultimately missed. The man who fled is known by law
enforcement and is being investigated.
In another pursuit, deputies observed a vehicle driving more than 100
mph Sunday on Industrial Parkway at Frazier Road in Jerome Township.
Philip Jackson, 19, of 8564 Frazier Road in Plain City was charged with
reckless operation of a vehicle and failure to control. Deputies chased
Jackson as he fled and became involved in an accident on Mitchell Dewitt
Road after striking a traffic sign. When deputies arrived on the scene,
Jackson ran toward the deputy. The officer drew his gun and Jackson
explained that he had received a call that his house was on fire. Law
enforcement are investigating the incident.
Jesse Travis, 24, of 23501 Oak St. was charged with obstructing police
business and disorderly conduct Sunday at 1:23 a.m. Deputies were called
on a domestic violence report at his home. Travis had locked himself in
his bedroom and was threatening violence. After two hours, Jackson was
talked out of the house and charged.

According to police reports:
Cherilyn B. Colwell, 25, of 316 N. Maple St. was charged with domestic
violence Thursday at 8:20 p.m. after she struck her boyfriend during an
argument.
According to sheriff's reports:
A resident in the 9000 block of Long Road reported Wednesday several
incidents of people entering his property to toilet paper and open
livestock gates since Aug. 13. The incidents are under investigation.
Unruly charges have been filed against a 12-year-old female in the 17000
block of Middleburg Plain City Road Thursday.
