1/31/06
According to police reports:
Jerry L. Nelson II, 21, of Lakeview, was charged
with possession of
marijuana after a traffic stop Friday at 11:19 p.m. on
North Main Street
in Marysville. Passenger Brandel L. Barger, 22, of
Lakeview, was charged
with having an open container of alcohol in the
vehicle.
A resident on Red Pine Drive reported Monday at 12:55 p.m. that raw
meat
was put on her vehicle window, sometime over the weekend.
Criminal
damaging was reported Monday at 2:50 p.m. after a fire hydrant
was discovered
to have been spray painted on Lacosta Drive.
A possible burglary is being
investigated after it was reported Monday
at 3:15 p.m. that a residence on
Redwood Drive was entered by unknown suspects.
Breaking and entering was
reported Monday at 4:11 p.m. after a residence
on Magnolia Drive was entered
and items were stolen from inside sometime
over the past week.
Robert A.
York Jr., 23, of 19767 Route 4, was cited for possession of
drugs as the
result of a traffic stop on Allenby Drive Monday at 9:08 p.m.
Douglas A.
Ehrsam, 39, of 144 Northcrest Drive, was charged with driving
under
suspension and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle
after a
traffic stop on U.S. 33 today at 2:22 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Deputies were dispatched to the 11000 block of Landon Road Friday
after
a 15-year-old male was found semi-conscious in a railroad bed.
He
appeared to have been involved in some kind of altercation.
Richwood
police and medics responded to the scene and the male was
transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County for care. The male refused
to tell
deputies what happened to him, until the next day when he admitted
he
had been drinking vodka. The case remains under investigation.
Monday
at 2:05 a.m. a resident in the 17000 block of Martin Welch Road
reported his
1994 Chevy S-10 vehicle was stolen from the driveway.
Deputies later arrested
Ryan M. Forrider, 22, of Bremerton, Wash., for
the theft. Another truck had
been left on the resident's back yard and
deputies traced the car to a Radnor
location. When called by deputies,
Forrider's father answered and brought his
son down to retrieve the
truck left on the property. The Chevy S-10 was later
found on Blagrove Street in Richwood.

According to police reports:
A 16-year-old male was cited for drug possession
and possession of drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 in the
westbound lanes
Friday at 9:26 p.m.
Saturday at 1:01 a.m. a 17-year-old
male was cited for curfew violations
after he and an adult male were observed
riding bikes on East Ninth Street.
A male damaged a case of beer Saturday
at 3 a.m. The suspect was told he
could not purchase the alcohol at the 1000
block of West Fifth Street
business and then he threw the case on the ground
and left the scene in
a 1994-98 four door Honda.
Taryne M. Wiertel, 19, of
14002 Oxford Drive was cited for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, high
alcohol concentration, having an open
container of alcohol inside the
vehicle, driving outside of marked lanes
and possession of drug paraphernalia
after a traffic stop on West Sixth
Street Saturday at 6:48 a.m.
A business
in the 200 block of West Fifth Street reported Saturday at
8:35 a.m. that the
building was "egged" repeatedly sometime over the past few days.
A
13-year-old female was cited for unruliness after a complaint was
filed by
her mother in the 1700 block of Creekview Drive Saturday at 1:50
p.m.
Saturday at 4:30 p.m. a a resident in the 500 block of North Main
Street
reported a Sony Playstation was stolen from his residence.
Criminal
damaging was reported Saturday at 4:30 p.m. after a window was
shattered by
someone throwing a hubcap earlier in the day.
Theft of food was reported
Saturday at 9:55 p.m. after a male and a
female left a business in the 700
block of South Maple Street without
paying for food and drinks. The two were
described as driving a silver
Honda and are in their early 20s.
Vandalism
was reported Saturday at 11:20 p.m. after a woman found her
vehicle tires
slashed and the body keyed, while it was parked in the 400
block of South Oak
Street.
A dispute between a 15-year-old female and her mother was referred
to
the Union County department of Job and family Services Sunday at
11:30
a.m. The incident of possible juvenile neglect is being investigated
and
the juvenile was placed in the temporary care of a relative.
Dustin M.
Salyers, 22, of Hilliard was cited for possession of marijuana
after a canine
police unit alerted to drugs at a traffic stop on U.S. 33
in the westbound
lanes Friday at 8:48 p.m. Passenger Michael J. Green,
24, of Columbus was
also cited for having an open container of alcohol
inside the car. Green had
an additional outstanding warrant for his
arrest concerning a failure to
appear in court charge.
Jonathan L. Troyer, 24, of 15655 Valleyview Drive was
arrested on
Allenby Drive Friday at 7:15 p.m. for a failure to appear in
court
warrant out of Marysville Municipal Court.
A 12-year-old male was
found to have shot at other juveniles with an Air
Soft BB handgun while they
were playing outside Friday at 6:27 p.m. No
injuries were reported from the
incident.
Friday at 5:17 p.m. a Marysville Middle School student reported
being
assaulted in the school cafeteria earlier that day. The incident
is under investigation.
Friday at 4:50 p.m. a resident in the 600 block of
Milford Avenue
reported a digital camera was stolen from his home over the
past week.
A resident in the 200 block of Chestnut Street reported a guitar
and
amplifier were stolen sometime last fall. The items were located in
a
pawn shop Friday at 1:16 p.m. The investigation into the theft
is ongoing.
According to sheriff's reports:
Deputies ended up drawing
weapons on an individual early Sunday morning
during a suspicious person
investigation.
Since the incident, Jason Gentry, 34, of Columbus was charged
with
possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 1:55 a.m. a deputy noticed a
suspicious man loitering in the 7000
block of Industrial parkway. When the
deputy turned on the vehicle
spotlight, the person fled on foot. Officer from
Dublin, the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and Marysville were called to the scene
to find him.
During the search, deputies went into a business and found a man
who
ended up not being the suspect. However, deputies found he was
in
possession of a marijuana pipe.
Friday night graffiti and offending
symbols and words were drawn on the
side of a house in the 24000 block of
Lunda Road.
The theft of power tools, valued at $4,500, were reported taken
from an
unlocked trailer in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway Thursday
night.
The theft of $3,000 in coins was reported to have occurred
sometime
between Dec. 12 and Friday at a home in the 21000 block of Shirk
Road.
Deputies are investigating an incident concerning a man in the
26000
block of Storms Road trying to receive a loan over the Internet
between
Dec. 13 and Jan. 10. The financial service, claiming to be out
of
Virginia requested money be sent in order to obtain the loan and it
was
never given. The resident listed an $1,800 loss.
A truck was egged
numerous time Friday night in the 12000 block of Black Road.
A woman
reported a man entered her garage illegally today at 1:38 a.m.
in the 20000
block of Route 245. A motion detector light turned on and
she saw a man
dressed in black emerge from her garage. Deputies
responded to the scene and
no one was located.
Saturday at 5:30 p.m. a guard at the Central Ohio Youth
Center on Route
4 reported being assaulted by a juvenile female, who pushed
him with her two fingers.

According to police reports:
Charges are pending against two 15-year-old
males and one 16-year-old
male who were observed distributing prescription
medication in a
Marysville High School restroom. The students face
misdemeanor drug
abuse charges, as the medication was not a controlled
substance, but a
drug obtainable only by prescription. The incident occurred
Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
A window was reported broken by unknown means at a
business in the 100
block of South Court Street Thursday at 6:15
p.m.
Police found a purse Thursday at 6 p.m. in the 100 block of North
Court
Street which was later turned over to the owner.
Theft by deception
was reported by a business in the 100 block of North
Court Street from an
incident on Wednesday. A customer had merchandise
to return that was never
purchased at the store.

According to OSP reports:
One man was injured in a traffic crash
involving a deer in Washington Township.
Todd A. Newman, 39, of Kenton was
headed south on County Road 351
Thursday at 5:58 a.m. when he swerved to
avoid a deer in the road near
County Road 349. The car went off the right
side of the road. Newman
then overcorrected and went off the left side of the
road. He then
overcorrected again to the right, causing the car to roll over
twice
before stopping in a field. Newman was injured in the crash and
was
transported by Bokes Creek medics to Hardin Memorial Hospital.
1/26/06
According to police reports:
Child abuse was reported Wednesday after it was
discovered that a
3-month-old Marysville infant was suffering from broken
ribs. The report
was made by Children's Hospital staff in the emergency room.
The
possible abuse remains under investigation.
Police are investigating
the possible sexual abuse of a 12-year-old
female by an acquaintance
Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Further details on the
report were not
available.
Mark A. Bushong, 43, of Plain City was charged with domestic
violence at
1280 Charles Lane, after he reportedly bit the nose of his wife
during
an argument Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. The wife was not transported
for medical care.
A resident in the Scott Circle area reported Wednesday
at 2:29 p.m. that
items were stolen from inside the home sometime since Jan.
1.
Jeannie A Kruse, 35, of Richwood was arrested for operating a
vehicle
under the influence, driving under suspension and failure to control
her
vehicle on Taylor Avenue Wednesday at 8:22 p.m.
Wednesday at 4:55 p.m.
a business in the 1000 block of Columbus Avenue
reported the theft of cash
from inside. The report remains under investigation.
According to
sheriff's reports:
Today a 48-year-old male had allegedly threatened to kill
himself and
possibly harm his wife.
At 7:48 a.m. deputies closed off Route
4 in Milford Center at Reed
Street and Maple Ridge Road to deal with the
situation. No charges
resulted from the incident.
Lt. Jamie Patton of the
Union County Sheriff's Office said that a deputy
arrived on the scene and
ended up speaking with the suspect on the front
lawn. The conversation then
continued in the deputy's cruiser.
Patton said that deputies felt the
situation seemed under control, until the man fled.
"Then the man jumped
out of the vehicle and went back into the house and
closed the door," he
said.
Patton said that because deputies didn't know how the man intended
to
kill himself, if he had weapons inside or what he planned to do with
his
wife, they closed off the roadways. Several witnesses reported
that weapons were drawn.
At 8:57 a.m. the male came back out of the house
after speaking with a deputy over the phone.
"He agreed to come out of the
residence with his wife and agreed to be
transported to (Memorial Hospital of
Union County)," Patton said.
The wife reported she was not threatened and no
charges were filed against the man.
A woman in the 100 block of May Street
reported someone used her debit
card to run up a $700 bill at several
businesses. The incidents occurred
between Jan. 11 and Monday.
Sometime
between Jan. 21 and Monday a business in the 8000 block of
Business Way
reported the possible theft of a manila envelope containing
credit card
numbers from a lock box.
A resident in the 3000 block of Fields Road reported
the possible theft
of checks sometime between Oct. 15 and Jan. 19. No theft
of cash has been reported.
Animal abuse was reported after a resident in
the 21000 block of Main
Street in Raymond discovered the family dog was
possibly let loose from
its kennel Wednesday between midnight and 8 a.m. A
neighbor called to
inform the family that the dog was loose and the animal
was later found
limping. A veterinarian reported that the animal had been
shot in the right rear foot.

A resident in the 13000 block of London Avenue
reported receiving
unwanted phone harassment over several hours today.
A
skateboard was reported stolen Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. from the front of
a
residence in the 100 block of North Main Street. The skateboard is
brown,
with the word "lunatic" written on the bottom.
A newspaper dispensing box was
reported stolen from the front of
Wal-Mart on U.S. 36 East Tuesday at 2:45
p.m.
Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. a purse was reported stolen from the
Marysville
High School girls varsity locker room, possibly taken on
Monday.

According to police reports:
Today at 6:16 a.m. a wallet was reported stolen
from a vehicle parked in
the 300 block of Windmill Drive on Saturday.
A
resident in the 300 block of South Oak Street reported his house
was
burglarized sometime over Monday. It was later determined the
resident's
estranged wife was responsible for taking personal items out of
the home.
Crystal N. Malone, 34, of Marion was cited for having an open
container
of alcohol after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 Monday at 8:06
p.m.
Police are investigating the theft of cash from a vehicle parked in
the
1300 block of West Fifth Street Monday at 5:28 p.m.
According to
sheriff's reports:
A mailbox in the 12000 block was reportedly vandalized
Sunday by an explosive device.
A Westerville company filed a report Monday
stating that 2800 yards of
concrete were delivered Nov. 2 to the 21000 block
of Bear Swamp Road and
a check was received with non-sufficient funds. The
amount of the check
was $2,843.82. The company states that it has repeatedly
attempted to
contact the suspects without success.
A rental agreement is
under investigation. The agreement reportedly
concerns the rental of a barn
on Route 4 for the storage of three to
four vehicles. The owner is deceased
and the property owner is seeking
the removal of the vehicles.
A report of
telephone harassment was received Monday at 10:06 p.m. A
resident in the
18000 block of Pine Lane reports receiving harassing
telephone calls during
the past two weeks.

According to police reports:
Today at 6:38 a.m. a resident in the 600 block
of Kenny Lane reported a
sliding glass door was shattered sometime over the
past day.
A 15-year-old male was charged with domestic violence after
assaulting
his younger brother and his mother Sunday at 9:22 p.m. in the 1700
block of Caraway Lane.
The family of Kenneth E. Czarnecki, 38, of 288
Redwood Drive reported
Sunday at 10:45 a.m. that he has been missing over the
past few days.
The report is currently under investigation.

Shields, 20, of 15240 Snyder Road in Richwood was cited for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on East Sixth
Street Sunday at 7:47
a.m.
Richard E. Castle, 21, of Columbus was cited for possession of
drugs
after being found with Vicodin tablets during a traffic stop on U.S.
33 Sunday at 4 a.m.
A resident in the 500 block of North Main Street
reported a window was
broken by an unknown object Saturday at 8:15
p.m.
William D. McCormick, 24, of 968 Coventry Place was arrested
for
criminal damaging and obstructing official business after he damaged
his
brother's truck and then interfered with an arrest Saturday at 4:15
p.m.
A Kent Zero Gravity bicycle was recovered from a retention pond
on
Emmaus Road Saturday at 9:05 a.m.
Tiffany D. Longest, 23, of 13992
Oxford Drive was cited for disorderly
conduct after a dispute in the 1100
block of Columbus Avenue Saturday at 12:20 a.m.
A different Kent bicycle
was reported stolen on Thursday from the 200
block of Greenwood
Boulevard.
Police recovered a stolen 1999 Ford F150 pickup truck in the 700
block
of Millcreek Drive Friday at 6 p.m. The vehicle was taken from the
100
block of South Main Street.
Two bicycles were recovered from the Town
Run on Windmill Drive Friday
at 1:45 p.m. The first is a Huffy and the second
is a Thruster. Both
were impounded in the city lots.
A vehicle was entered
in the 700 block of South Walnut Street and items
were stolen Friday at 7:20
a.m. The items had been dropped nearby and were recovered by
police.
Another vehicle was entered in the 700 block of South Plum Street and
a
radio was stolen Friday at 2:11 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Roberto Sanchez Ruiz, 25, of an unknown Marysville address, was
arrested
Sunday at 3:37 p.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated and failure
to
control. Deputies were alerted to look for a white Chevy Suburban,
with
a possible drunk driver. The vehicle was later found crashed into
a
ditch in the 22000 block of Route 4. Ruiz was intoxicated inside
the
car, where a 12 pack of beer was also found.
Deputies recovered
several deer carcasses along the roadway on Shertzer
Road at Cunningham
Arbella Road Sunday. Three and one half carcasses
were found, each had been
skinned and the back portions had been cut
off. The animals are believed to
have been left by possible poachers.
A resident in the 11000 block of Route 4
reported that the caretaker of
a family member had accumulated a $23.52 phone
bill between Nov. 24 and
Dec. 23. The incident is currently under
investigation.
According to OSP reports:
One person was injured in a crash
Friday in Jerome Township. At around 8
p.m. Jessie S. Miller, 16, of Dublin
was traveling southbound on Jerome
Road when he lost control on a curve in
the roadway and went off the
right side, striking a mailbox, crossed
McKitrick Road and then struck a tree.
Miller was injured and MedFlighted
to Children's Hospital in Columbus
for care. A passenger in the vehicle was
not injured.

According to police reports:
The license plate was stolen off of a vehicle
parked in the 500 block of
Meadows Drive sometime over the past few days. The
report was made to
police today at 2:10 a.m.
Officers arrested a
13-year-old female for violating curfew today at
12:58 a.m. in the 500 block
of 10th Street after responding to a report
of a suspicious person in the
area.
The Memorial Hospital of Union County emergency room reported
a
suspicious bruise on a male, possibly the result of an assault.
The
report was made Thursday at 10:40 p.m.
Prescription medication was
stolen from a residence in the 300 block of
Rosehill Drive Thursday at 6:50
p.m. The apartment was forcibly entered.
Thursday at 3:21 p.m. police
responded to a home in the 700 block of
Lone Rise Drive for a 16-year-old
male being disruptive. The male was
later transported to the Memorial
Hospital of Union County emergency
room for treatment after injuring himself
while damaging the residence.
A 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported stolen
from a business in the
900 block of Delaware Avenue Thursday at 2:28
p.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Tuesday night between 10:45 p.m. and
Wednesday at 1 a.m. a female
reported she was driving in a vehicle with three
other males and one of
the males inappropriately touched her and then later
stole her car
stereo, valued at $150. The incident happened while traveling
on
Delaware County Line Road. The report is currently under
investigation.
A woman on South Mill Street in Milford Center reported
identity fraud
Thursday. A person had obtained the woman's personal
information over
the Internet. The suspect then started up a Visa credit card
in her name
and purchased a package and mailed it to her, asking her to then
send it
to an orphanage in Africa. The package was found one day on her
doorstep
and inside was a breakfast tray, with several items wrapped in
plastic.
The incident is under investigation.

According to police reports:
Wednesday at 10:42 p.m. a purse was reported
stolen from a business in
the 100 block of Emmaus Drive. The theft is
currently under investigation.
A resident in the 800 block of Milcrest
Drive reported the theft of a
purse from her apartment overnight
Wednesday.
According to sheriff's reports:
The Central Ohio Youth Center
on Route 4 reported prescription drugs
were found in the belongings of a
14-year-old female inmate Wednesday at
8:03 a.m. The drugs were not
prescribed to her and the possession is currently under
investigation.
According to OSP reports:
Wednesday at 9:12 a.m. one person
was injured in a crash in Washington
Township. David G. Mohler, 65, of
Richwood was traveling southeast on
Route 31. At the same time, Teresa K.
Martin, 43, of Richwood was headed
northwest on Route 31 and lost control on
the snowy road. Her car went
left of center and struck Mohler's car. Martin
was cited for failure to
control and was transported for injuries to Memorial
Hospital of Union
County by Northern Union fire medics.
Minor injuries
resulted in a one-car crash Wednesday in Union Township.
Wendi R. Lowry, 36,
of 311 W. Eighth St. was traveling eastbound on
Route 161, when she lost
control on a snowy curve in the road. Her car
went off the north side of the
roadway, striking a ditch. Lowry was
cited for failure to control and
suffered non-incapacitating injuries.
She was reportedly not transported from
the scene by medics.
One person was injured in a crash Wednesday in Jerome
Township.
Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Danny R. Taylor, 40, of Mt. Gilead was
traveling
eastbound on County Road 1. Another driver, whose identity has not
yet
been determined, was traveling westbound and lost control. The
vehicle
went left of center and struck Taylor's car in the front end.
The
unknown driver was transported by Jerome Township medics to
Riverside Methodist Hospital.
James P. Baisden, 22, of Pataskala was cited
for operating a vehicle
intoxicated today at 1:32 a.m. on U.S. 33 in
Dublin.

According to police reports:
Matthew Cook, 36, of 1560 Valley Drive was
charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on
Damascus Road Tuesday at 5:01
p.m. Charges are pending for possession of
marijuana.
Joshua Wolford, 18, of 1271 Woodline Drive was charged with
possession
of drug paraphernalia after he was stopped at the Shell gas
station on
Square Drive Tuesday at 9:24 p.m.
Today at 1:05 a.m. four
juveniles were breaking curfew and alcohol laws.
An officer stopped behind a
vehicle parked in the 800 block of Lantern
Drive and then the vehicle sped
off. The car ended up stopping on Cherry
Street. Police ended up charging a
14-year-old Marysville female with
curfew violations; A 15-year-old
Marysville female for curfew and
underage consumption of alcohol; A
16-year-old Marysville male for
curfew violations; And a 15-year-old
Marysville male for curfew and
underage consumption of alcohol.
Mindy
Langbein, 44, of 431 1/2 E. Sixth St. and Patricia Dingey, 22, of
431 1/2 E.
Sixth St. were both charged with disorderly conduct after
fighting on East
Sixth Street today at 1:30 a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Deputies
are investigating the possible corruption of a minor, involving
a 24-year-old
male and a 15-year-old female. Alleged sexual relations
and consumption of
alcohol is suspected to have occurred back in
December in the 30000 block of
Water Street.
1/17/06
According to police reports:
This morning deputies responded to a call for a
burglary in progress on
U.S. 36 and ended up arresting the man who reported
the crime. Scott W.
Anderson, 29, of 13699 U.S. 36 was charged with using
weapons while
intoxicated at 3:10 a.m. Reportedly Anderson told people he
witnessed a
person trying to break into his neighbor's home. He then claimed
he
fired a warning shot at the person with a .22 caliber firearm.
The
bullet hit a nearby sign. When law enforcement arrived there was no
sign
of the alleged intruder, but it was discovered Anderson was
intoxicated
and was not allowed to be carrying a firearm because of a
previous
domestic violence charge. Charges are pending for having weapons
under disability.
Saturday night a woman in the 16000 block of Allen
Center Road called
deputies after an unknown person began trying to break
into her home at
3:30 a.m. A man was damaging the doors and screens, in an
attempt to
gain entry. When law enforcement arrived people were walking
around the
home and cars were parked in the lawn. It turned out that
four
individuals had been at a bar in Marysville and were told there was
an
after hours party at the location on Allen Center Road.
Deputies
arrested Heather M. Litz, 32, of 614 Kenny Lane for criminal
damaging
after damaging the lawn; Chad E. Fryman, 29, of 28249 Route 739
for
having an open container in a car; Angela L. Howerton, 30, of London
for
criminal damaging after damaging the lawn; Billy J. Salmons, 26, of
311
Caddie Drive for criminal damaging after kicking and damaging doors
on
the home; and Anjia D. Deardorff, 24, of 13985 Sycamore Drive
for
criminal damaging after damaging the lawn.
Assault charges are pending
against a 17-year-old male after he
reportedly struck a guard at the Central
Ohio Youth Center on Route 4
Wednesday at 5:40 p.m. The male had caused a
disruption in the dining
hall and became belligerent when he was taken back
to his room.
Friday night numerous hand tools, valued at $3,220, were stolen
from a
garage in the 13000 block of U.S. 36.

intoxicated, super concentration blood alcohol content, and
driving outside
of marked lanes after a traffic stop Saturday at 2:44
a.m. on Route 38 at Sam
Reed Road.
Kimberly A. Warren, 30, of Delaware was arrested Saturday at 12:35
a.m.
for operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving under suspension,
and
driving without a license after a traffic stop on Route 47 in
Richwood.
Tonda L. Hoffman, 50, of 510 S. Chestnut St. was cited for
driving
outside of marked lanes Saturday at 12:57 a.m. after a traffic stop
on
Route 38, north of Route 736.

Criminal damaging was reported by a man who

male ran at the car when he drove up and jumped on the hood, kicked

the door and broke the window. Charges are pending from the incident.
A
storage unit was forcibly entered Saturday night in the 14000 block of

Cole Road and $2,200 in hand tools were stolen.
A 17-year-old Springfield
male and a 16-year-old Urbana male were cited
for curfew and possession of
illegal fireworks after they were found in
a parking lot on Middleburg Plain

two admitted they were about to begin
shooting at street signs with a paint ball gun.
Sunday night a total of

mischief after he damaged the air valves on a car, flattening all
four

Drug
paraphernalia was found in the bedroom of a of a 16-year-old male
in the
20000 block of Peoria Loop Road Monday at 2:30 p.m.

Police are investigating possible assault charges against a

indicated he had

Brian O'Connors, 41, of 500 N. Cherry St. was charged with
disorderly
conduct Sunday at 2:22 a.m. Police reportedly witnessed a vehicle
turn
onto East Fourth Street, it stopped and a man jogged away from
the
truck. Upon questioning the man, it was evident he had alcohol on
his
breath, but denied the vehicle was his own.
Nichole Miller, 29, of
Pickerington was charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated Sunday at 12:59
a.m. after a traffic stop on Quail Hollow Drive.
Jesse James Howard, 21,
of 214 W. Third St. was charged with assault and
criminal damaging after an
incident near his home Sunday at 2:20 a.m.
Howard also banged his head
against the inside of the cruiser, causing
damages to the vehicle and to his
head. Medics were called to the scene
and he was transported for
care.
Steven Risner, 37, of 16000 Gandy Eddy Road was charged with
domestic
violence after assaulting a woman and damaging a door to his
home Saturday at 6:01 p.m.

Possible sexual imposition charges are being investigated after a

reported receiving an inappropriate call at work from a co-worker

at 11:29 a.m. in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway. Later, the same
man
made inappropriate physical contact as well.
Deputies recovered a blue
18-speed bicycle, which was possibly stolen
from the Marysville area. The
bike was found Thursday at 8 a.m. in the
21000 block of Raymond Road. The
owner is asked to claim the bike by
calling Eric Yoakam at the Union County

Potential charges are pending
against a 14 or 15-year-old male after he
was seen taking greeting cards from
a mailbox Thursday at 4 p.m. in the

shooting out three windows of three cars at a lot on East State
Street
in Milford Center Thursday at 5:47 p.m. The male was seen shooting

Larenda R. Johnson, 48, of Ostrander was southeast bound on
County Road 11,
when Johnson went off the left side of the road,
overcorrected and went off
the right side of the road and overturned.
Johnson received
non-incapacitating injuries and was not transported by medics for
care.
One person was injured after a crash Thursday at 7:29 a.m. in
Millcreek
Township. Angel Peter, 27, of 1056 Watkins Glen Ct. was eastbound
on
County Road 104 and lost control on the ice-covered road and went
off
the left side of the road, striking a ditch. Peter suffered
possible
injuries and was not transported from the scene by medics.

Tuesday at 3:14 p.m. a business

possession of
marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills by
Marysville High
School administration and the school resource

Sometime over the weekend a concrete mixer was stolen from

on Thursday for criminal mischief and

Marysville Public Library. He was found intoxicated
and rummaging through drawers.
A 4-year-old boy was picked up by social
workers after being observed
wandering down Greenwood Boulevard alone
Thursday at 2:08 p.m. The boy
reportedly left the residence without the
caretakers knowledge. The
incident is under investigation.

A 16-year-old male was arrested for being a runaway, after his

6:35 p.m. in Marysville.
A 14-year-old male was charged with theft after
Wal-Mart employees at
the U.S. 36 East location Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. caught
him stealing two music CDs.
The burglary theft of rings from a jewelry box
was reported to have

Lawrence R. Highman, 23, of 750 Kenny Lane was
arrested for domestic
violence, after assaulting his wife at home Tuesday at

Tuesday at 1:25 p.m. a resident reported that a saw, which was

from him over the summer, was found at the pawn shop on North

crashed. Holbrook was then transported by Northern Union
Township medics

A male threatened to kill his estranged wife over the phone in

A 68-year-old Windmill Drive resident, was discovered deceased
inside
his apartment Monday at 8:55 a.m. after officers were summoned for
a
welfare check. The death is under investigation.
John W. Akers, 41, of
Powell, was charged with operating under the
influence and driving under
suspension as a result of a traffic stop on
north Main Street Monday at 11:25
p.m.

A man was not injured after he
launched his SUV vehicle into an icy pond this morning.
Scott Price, 33,
of Powell was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and failure to
control his vehicle at 2:55 a.m.
Price was reportedly driving eastbound on
Route 287 when he failed to
stop at the intersection at Stokes Road and drove
into a ditch. The
vehicle then launched more than 50 feet through some trees
and into a
pond. The vehicle skidded on the ice and then submerged into the
water.
Price was not injured in the crash and was able to remove himself
from
the car and the water before deputies and Marysville Fire
Department
medics arrived. The vehicle is expected to be removed from the
pond today.
A Jerome Township trustee reported a violation of the Ohio
Sunshine Law
Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The man arrived at the Jerome Township
building
in the 9000 block of Industrial Parkway to check on the locks
being
changed and said he discovered another township trustee inside
with
trustee-elect. The former trustee said that the meeting was
not
announced according to law. The incident is being investigated.
A
59-year-old man was MedFlighted to the Ohio State University Hospital
from
the 28000 block of Grendel Road Friday after a tree limb fell on
top of him.
The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. and the man was
rescued at 10:15 a.m.
by Northern Union County Fire Department.
Jason Morris, 30, of 13740 Hinton
Mill Road was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, driving outside
of marked lanes and failure to use
a turn signal Friday at 9:14 p.m. Plain
City Police department responded
to a vehicle accident in the area and later
found Morris driving
westbound on Route 161. When he turned onto Unionville
Road, police
stopped him and discovered he was intoxicated. Charges may be
pending
for leaving the scene of an accident.
James Hostetler, 19, of
Dublin was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, possession of drugs
and possession of drug paraphernalia
Saturday at 12:48 a.m. after a traffic
stop on Industrial Parkway for
having a license plate light out. Hostetler
was reportedly weaving in
the road and was finally stopped at Brock Road. A
bag of marijuana and a
pipe were found inside.
Jo Anne Wilcox, 47, of West
Mansfield was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated and driving
outside of marked lanes Saturday at 2:51
a.m. after a traffic stop near
Richwood on Route 4 at Route 37.
A 17-year-old Dublin male was arrested on
U.S. 36 at Watkins Road for
operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving outside
of marked lanes and
underage consumption of alcohol Saturday in the early
morning hours. The
male was reportedly weaving in the road and was stopped by
an officer.
An 18-year-old passenger out of Dublin and a 17-year-old male may
face
charges associated with underage drinking and possession of
drug paraphernalia.
Jonathan Troyer, 24, of London was arrested Saturday
at 2:52 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated and driving outside of
marked lanes
after a traffic stop on Route 4 at Wolford Maskill Road. Troyer
was
observed driving off the road into gravel, by a passing deputy.

Chapman, 26, of 117 Northcrest Drive was arrested Saturday at
12:10 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on Route 37.
Brian
Smith, 19, of 13974 Pleasant Ridge Road was arrested for
obstructing official
police business, underage consumption of alcohol
and persistent disorderly
conduct today at 4:54 a.m. Deputies were
initially called for a domestic
violence report of a man tearing apart a
house. He allegedly had a knife and
was threatening to cut himself. When
deputies arrived at his home, Smith was
warned not to run, but then took
off for the front door. Deputies ended up
using tasers on Smith in the
front lawn and made the arrest.

vehicle
intoxicated, speeding, driving outside of marked lanes and not
wearing a seat
belt during a traffic stop on Route 4 at Askins Road Sunday at 3:23
