3/31/06
According to police reports:
A Hemlock Drive resident reported that a Florida
company made
withdrawals from a checking account for subscriptions that were
never
requested Thursday at 6:02 p.m.
Justin Kirschenbaum, 20, of 628 W.
Seventh St. was arrested for
contributing to the delinquency of a minor,
after a traffic stop at
Fourth and Walnut streets today at 1:53 a.m. A
15-year-old male and a
16-year-old female were arrested for unruly juvenile
and curfew charges
during the same traffic stop.
According to OSP
reports:
Two people were injured in a two-car crash Thursday in
Claibourne Township.
Driver Billy W. Endsley, 55, of Raymond was headed
west on County Road
286 when he stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of
Route 37. He
then continued into the intersection to go westbound on County
Road 286,
and drove into the path of another car.
The second driver, Keith
P. Stevens, 65, of Cable, was headed south on
Route 37 when he was struck.
Endsley was cited for failure to yield at a
stop sign. He was not injured.
Stevens was injured in the accident and
transported by Northern Union
Township medics to Memorial Hospital of
Union County. His passenger Sophia L.
Stevens, 62, of Cable was also
transported. Another juvenile female passenger
was not injured.
3/29/06
According to police reports:
Today at 12 a.m. a man was seen rummaging
through a van parked at a
business on West Seventh Street. Nothing was
missing from the van and
the suspect was not found.
At 12:45 a.m. a
resident on Milford Avenue reported seeing a shadow of a
person attempting to
break into a trailer close to his residence. The
man was not
located.
Jonathan Vandall, 20, of 530 E. Fourth St. was arrested for
possession
of drugs and underage consumption of alcohol after he was
found
intoxicated on Windmill Drive today at 1:16 a.m.
Joseph A. Miller,
34, of 302 S. Court St. was arrested on West Third
Street for domestic
violence following an altercation with his
girlfriend at their residence
today at 4:18 a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Tuesday a resident in
the 16000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road
reported identification theft
after someone used personal information to
obtain a credit card and steal
$1,600.
Wednesday a pink and white Ipod, valued at $300, was stolen from a
home
in the 16000 block of Burns Road. There were no signs of forced
entry.

According to police reports:
Police reported this morning that three suspects
in two recent
burglaries have been taken into custody.
Marysville
Assistant Police Chief, Glenn Nicol said that burglary
charges are expected
to be filed against two 13-year-old males and one
15-year-old male, all of
which are from Marysville.
He said the three are suspects in a recent Dove
Street burglary. They
are also believed to be behind another burglary that
police learned
about while conducting the investigation. That incident was
never
reported to police by the victims.
A retail business in the 100
block of North Main Street reported
suspects broke into the store and took
several items Monday at 8:10 a.m.
Police were ale to recover several items
later in the evening and
charges are expected to be filed against an
18-year-old male and several
individuals that received some of the
items.
John T. Hater, 25, of the Madison Correctional facility was arrested
on
an outstanding warrant Monday at 1 p.m.
Jamie E. Ladue, 24, and Larry
Leo Baker, 24, both of 124 N. main St.
were charged with possession of drugs
and drug paraphernalia after
marijuana was found in their apartment Monday at
7:18 p.m.
Police reported that a black trail bike was stolen from Eljer
Park
Monday at 11 p.m.
Money and a set of keys were stolen from a vehicle
parked on Quail
Hollow Drive today at 3:30 a.m.
A resident in the 600
block of Quail Hollow Drive reported the theft of
money and CDs from a
vehicle today at 6:30 a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
A resident in
the 33000 block of Route 31 reported that a person on an
ATV went through the
family's yard and almost struck their pet. Deputies
found two suspects on
ATVs and are currently investigating the incident.

According to police reports:
Police reported the information on a Friday car
crash that held of
traffic for some time. Despite a severe crash scene, the
driver was not injured.
At 2:59 p.m. Joseph Onkwantabisa, 54, of Columbus
was cited for failure
to control his vehicle. He was headed eastbound on U.S.
33, when he lost
control and went across both lanes and struck the concrete
barrier
separating the east and west bound lanes. The car then slid along
the
median for about 20 feet and then struck a guardrail and
became
airborne. The car then landed on the median and flipped over two
or
three times before stopping between the east and west
lanes.
Onkwantabisa was wearing his seatbelt during the crash and was
helped
out of the severely damaged vehicle by people who had stopped because
of
the crash. The vehicle also caught on fire.
Three incidents of breaking
and entering were reported over the weekend.
Breaking and entering was
reported Sunday at 1 a.m. at business in the
800 block of Columbus Avenue.
Suspects were observed running away from
the business by a manager. The
incident is currently under investigation.
Sunday at 1:19 a.m. a business
in the 600 block Of East Fifth Street
reported breaking and entering. Thieves
stole the cash register during the incident.
Another case of breaking and
entering was reported Sunday at 1:30 a.m.
at a business in the 400 block of
East Fourth Street. The cash register
was also stolen during the
incident.
A resident in the 200 block of Windsor Drive reported Friday at
2:25
p.m. that CDs were stolen sometime between March 16 to 20.
Identity
theft was reported Friday at 4:24 p.m., after unauthorized
information was
used to open a cellular phone account.
A resident reported her vehicle was
criminally damaged Friday at 4:40
p.m. while it was parked in the 900 block
of Columbus Avenue. Food
products were found on top of the
vehicle.
Domestic Violence was reported Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in 1300 block
of
Millstone Drive during a dispute.
A business in 800 block of East Fifth
Street reported the theft of
health care products Saturday at 2 p.m. The
incident is under investigation.
Drug abuse charges are pending against a
North Main Street resident.
Police reported that evidence of drug abuse was
located on the property
Saturday at 9:10 p.m. The incident is currently under
investigation.
A retail business in the 15600 block of US 36 East reported
the theft a
garden tiller Sunday at 12 p.m.
Police recovered a wallet at
Eljer Park on the walking trails Sunday at 12:44 p.m.
Personal documents
and credit cards were found in the 800 block Of West
Fifth Street Sunday at
3:30 p.m.
A purse was reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 700 block
of
Milford Avenue Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
David A. Thompson, 44, of Sycamore
Dr. was cited for possession of drugs
and drug paraphernalia Sunday at 11:01
p.m.
Police responded to Dogwood Drive Sunday at 12:58 p.m. A
48-year-old
male was found deceased in his residence. The death remains
under
investigation and investigators do not suspect foul play.
According
to sheriff's reports:
Friday a resident in the 10000 block of Route 4
reported her
identification was stolen and her credit card information was
used at
two different locations in Florida. A total of $116 was
stolen.

Kimiko Yamane, 27, of Bellefontaine was
arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated Sunday at 2:30 a.m. after a stop
on U.S. 33.
Angela Curran, 30, of 766 Watkins Glen Blvd. was arrested for
operating
a vehicle intoxicated Saturday at 2:48 a.m.

According to police reports:
A burglary was reported that occurred Thursday
sometime between 6 and 8
p.m. in the 700 block of Kenny Lane. An unknown
person forced the front
door open of an apartment and stole numerous
prescription medications from inside.
A business in the 300 block of West
Fifth Street reported that two black
males entered and short changed the
cashier out of $200 Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Deputies are investigating allegations of sexual imposition
involving a
juvenile female victim in Union County. The incident reportedly
occurred
over the weekend.

Jonathan R. Roeger, 25, of Columbus was charged
with driving under
suspension following a traffic stop on U.S. 33 Wednesday
at 6:13 a.m.
A 13-year-old male was charged with being unruy after he
damaged
property at his residence during an altercation with his mother
on
Hillcrest Drive Wednesday at 6:50 a.m.
Dennis A. Wilson, 44, of Grove
City was charged with driving under child
support suspension and
non-compliance suspension following a traffic
stop on Clydesdale Way
Wednesday at 9 a.m.
A student with special needs reportedly assaulted an
employee at East
Elementary School Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
A small bag of
marijuana was turned in after being found on the parking
lot of a business on
Coleman's Crossing.
An IPod was reportedly stolen from a personal bag at the
Marysville High
School athletic complex on Amerine Mill Road.
David S.
Rockey, 44, 137 Hemlock Dr., was arrested on a failure to
appear warrant from
Marysville Municipal Court after a traffic stop on Delaware
County.
Officers investigated an 8- year-old in the 13000 block of Route 38
who
allegedly made comments Wednesday at 10 p.m. about bringing a weapon
to school.
According to sheriff's reports:
A report of telephone
harassment was received Monday from a resident in
the 16000 block of Poling
Road.
An assault was reported Wednesday in the 31000 Winnemac Road involving
a
grandmother and granddaughter.
A purse was reportedly stolen in the
10000 block of Jerome Road Tuesday
between 7:30 and 9 p.m.
A 13 year-old
female allegedly struck her mother Tuesday at 8 p.m. in
the 26000 block of
Fawley Road.
3/22/06
According to police reports:
Protection order violation - Investigating a
report by a female resident
who was reportedly being stalked by an ex-husband
and a protection order
is in effect. The report was filed Tuesday at 9:24
a.m.
Telecommunications harassment - A business on east Fifth Street
reported
receiving several unwanted phone calls Tuesday at 10:34
a.m.
Vandalism - The city parks and recreation department reported
vandalism
to the Eljer Park shelter house Tuesday at 12:34 p.m.
Burglary -
A burglary to a residence was reported in the 700 block of
Milford Avenue
Tuesday. Entry was forced through a door. At the time of
the initial report
it was undermined what was missing.
Telecommunications harassment - A report
of telecommunications
harassment was taken from a resident on west Fifth
Street Tuesday.
According to sheriff's reports:
A utility trailer with an
estimated value of $1,200 was reportedly
stolen from 14000 Smart Cole Road
sometime between Thursday and Friday.
A burglary was reported in the 14000
Snyder Road. A resident reported no
forced entry, but a door and window open.
The incident occurred between
8 a.m. and 5:37 p.m. A computer and alcohol
with an estimated value of
$600 were reported missing.

No injury accidents or alcohol-related incidents occurred in
Union County.

According to police reports:
On Friday a report of telecommunications
harassment was reported by
employees at an East Fifth Street business at
10:15 a.m. Harassing phone
calls have reportedly been received for about one
month.
A Marysville High School student allegedly threatened violence Friday
at 1:30 pm.
A 17-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct after an
altercation
in front of the Marysville High School Friday at 3 p.m.
A
16-year-old female was taken to the emergency room Friday at 5:55 p.m.
after
being found extremely intoxicated on a sidewalk on Chestnut Street.
A
theft was reported Friday at 8:55 p.m. involving theft by deception on
a cell
phone account through Sprint.
Michael Carl, 22, of Plain City, was arrested
for disorderly conduct
while intoxicated after he was found pounding on a
resident's door and
window on east Sixth Street Saturday at 2:24
a.m.
Timothy Smith, 21, was arrested for two counts of assault, one count
of
criminal damaging and one count of resisting arrest after an
argument
on west Sixth Street Saturday at 3:46 a.m.
A theft report was
made Saturday at 5:59 p.m. A purse was reportedly
taken from a business on
East Fifth Street.
A breaking and entering report was taken from a resident
on south Walnut
Street after a man reported that his girlfriend went into his
residence
and threw items around Saturday at 10:31 a.m. No charges have
been filed.
A female reported unauthorized charges on her Visa debit card
Saturday at 1:49 p.m.
A resident on Route 38 reported Saturday that the
glass in her rear
patio door was broken overnight
A resident on Black Hawk
Drive located some large bones while digging in
his yard. The matter is
under investigation.
Derek West, 21, 142 Buerger St. was arrested for
possession of drugs
during a traffic stop on West Third Street and Mary's
Place Saturday at 5:21 p.m.
A female resident reported receiving money
orders as payment for her
vehicle and a local business advised the money
orders were fraudulent

A resident in the 300 block
of Mound Street reported an unknown person
continues to dump trash in the
dumpster of his apartment complex without
permission Saturday at 6:05
p.m.
Adam Crooks, 20, 67 Aspen Drive, was arrested on an outstanding
warrant

Athena Shields, 21, of Snyder Road was
arrested for driving under
suspension on U.S. 33 and Route 31 Saturday at

A resident on Mill Park reported while walking her dog another dog
ran
out the front door of its residence and bit her dog on the upper

for possession of drugs and

Drive. The mother
reported her son removed items from the residence

drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop
at

An individual reported that a
family member took his cell phone from his
work truck and wouldn't return
it.
Two laptop computers were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle
on
Quail Hollow Drive north Sunday at 10:46 a.m.
A business on North
Cherry Street reported theft of services Sunday at 11:32 a.m.
A Hickory
Drive resident reported items stolen from his unlocked vehicle
overnight
Sunday at 1:31 p.m.
A Meadows Drive resident reported scratches on her motor
vehicle around
her rear license plate Sunday at 3:22 p.m.
A bag of
marijuana was found on the floor of a Delaware Avenue business

Brian Smith, 19, of Pleasant Ridge Road, was
arrested for OVI, underage
consumption, underage possession and possession of
drugs after a vehicle
was reported doing doughnuts at Eljer Park Sunday at
5:42 p.m.
Underage possession and consumption charges are pending against
two
Marysville High School students who reportedly consumed alcohol prior
to
school Monday at 9:54 a.m. The individuals include a 15-year-old
female
and 16-year-old male.
Shawn Ryan, 29, was arrested on a warrant
Monday at 1:19 p.m. after he
was located on Creekview Drive.
A Marysville
Green Apartments resident reported unauthorized charges on
her credit card
Monday at 2:28 p.m.
A Marysville High School student reported his wallet
stolen from the gym
locker room Monday at 3:29 p.m.
A Scott Farms
Boulevard resident reported unauthorized charges on her
credit card Monday at
5:08 p.m.
A resident at 302 S. Court St. reported his wallet lost Monday at
8:45 p.m.
Jeffrey R. Logan, 19, 527 N. Main St., and Justin R. Frye, 22,
of Marion
were charged with theft after a resident in the 400 block of
Eighth
Street reported subjects getting into vehicles in the alley behind
his
residence today at 1:15 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Vandalism was reported Friday at 7:39 a.m. by a landlord of a
property
in the 23000 block of North Darby Coe Road.
On Saturday at 1:48
a.m. deputies responded to a one-car crash in the
area of Scottslawn Road at
Route 736. As a result, driver Stella J,
Whiteside, 20, of Worthington was
charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated, underage consumption of alcohol
and failure to control her
vehicle. Her passenger, Jessica L. Diamond, 19, of
1052 Rosewood Drive
was cited for underage consumption of
alcohol.
Christopher W. Cook, 40, of 18275 Route 47 West was arrested
for
operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving outside of marked lanes. He
was
stopped by deputies in the 14000 block of Route 47 Sunday at 1:18
a.m.
Christopher M. Eirich, 33, of 24519 Rapp Dean Road was charged
with
operating a vehicle intoxicated, and driving without headlights. He
was
stopped by deputies Sunday at 2:06 a.m. at Maple and Fourth
streets.
Numerous power tools, valued at $1,700, were reported stolen
sometime
between mid-October and this week, from a house under construction
in
the 19000 block of North Darby Coe Road. The theft was reported
Monday at 1:52 p.m.

According to police reports:
Thursday at 3:58 p.m. a business on East Fifth
Street reported a theft,
through a false customer order.
Chris Conklin,
39, of 610 Kenny Lane, was arrested for assault after he
slammed a door
closed on a woman's hand Thursday at 6:38 p.m.
A resident on Fox Fire Drive
reported theft of items from her unlocked
car, sometime between 4 a.m. and 6
p.m. on Wednesday.
A 15-year-old female was arrested and taken to the
Memorial Hospital of
Union County emergency room, for evaluation after
becoming unruly and
assaulting a social worker today at 7:01
a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Sunday at 4:25 a.m. an unknown person
threatened bodily harm and
forcibly attempted to enter a house on East Center
Street. Charges are currently pending.
A barn fire that occurred Thursday
at 5:47 p.m. is being investigated
in the 19000 block of Paver Barnes Road.
Fire crews were at the location
between 4:27 and 5:42 p.m. putting out the
fire.
Deputies are investigating a recurring problem of littering in the
16000
block of Fish Daum Road Thursday at 7:46 p.m. Loose trash was
found
blowing around the area.
Wednesday at 4:40 p.m. it was reported that
a 15-year-old male was
bitten by a dog running loose the day before, in the
village of Arnold
on North Street. The owner was contacted and no charges
have been filed
at this time.
Erick W. Scheiderer, 26, of 8 N. Main St.
was arrested for domestic
violence Wednesday at 11:45 p.m.
According to
OSP reports:
One person was injured in a two-car crash Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
in
Jerome Township.
Driver Jackie L. Newell, 56, of Plain City was stopped
on U.S. 42,
waiting to turn southeast into a gas station parking lot. The
second
driver, Generoso T. Sia, Jr., 26, of Plain City was traveling behind
her
and failed to stop, causing a rear-end collision. Newell's
passenger,
Jennifer Newell, 41, of Plain City was injured in the crash and
was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County. Sia was cited
for
failure to leave assured clear distance ahead.
3/16/06
According to police reports:
Domestic violence charges were brought against
Joseph Edwards, 28, of
Cable Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. after he reportedly
struck his wife in a
parking lot in the 1000 block of West Fifth Street.
A
resident reported she received a deceiving e-mail, which she replied
to
Wednesday at 4:44 p.m. As a result, unknown suspects removed $1000
from her
bank account.
A person reported finding a wallet, out of a junk yard purchase
in
Columbus, Wednesday at 5 p.m. In the wallet was a social security
card
and three birth certificates.
Construction tools were reported stolen
from a job site trailer today at
3:59 a.m. on Glen Oaks Drive. The theft is
currently under investigation.
According to sheriff's reports:
A
resident in the 19000 block of Route 739 reported that a total of $397
was
stolen from a bank account, sometime on March 7.
Jeffrey S. Young, 29, of
25133 Route 37 was charged with driving under
suspension and possession of
marijuana, after a traffic stop on Monday
at 5:55 p.m. on Boundary Road at
Happy Lane.
Burglary and theft were reported to have occurred sometime
between March
9 and Tuesday at a home in the 23000 block of Route 37. An
Xbox, a
Playstation II and prescription medication were taken.

Two people were injured in a one-car crash Wednesday at 7:55
a.m. in
Darby Township.
Brittani J. Mitton, 18, of Plain City was driving
westbound on
Middleburg-Plain City Road when she failed to negotiate a curve
in the
road. She lost control, slid off the right side of the roadway,
then
struck a fence post and a "stop ahead" sign. Mitton was injured in
the
crash, along with her passenger Dona M. Mitton, 11, Plain City.
Both
were transported by Pleasant Valley medics to Memorial Hospital of
Union
County. Brittani Mitton was cited for failure to control her
vehicle.
3/14/06
According to sheriff's reports:
Howard E. Eads, 41, of Plain City was
arrested Monday at 7:45 p.m. in
the 15000 block of Hagenderfer Road after
crashing his car into a yard.
Deputies responded to the crash and found Eads
walking down the road. He
was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated
and failure to maintain
control of his car.
A burglary was reported that
occurred Saturday night in the 10000 block
of Betty Lane. An unknown person
entered the home through an unlocked
door and stole a television.
David
Harr, Jr., 19, of Richwood was charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated
and driving outside of marked lanes after a traffic stop
Saturday at 11:50
p.m. on Route 37.
George L. Cook, 31, of 590 Meadows Drive was charged with
operating a
vehicle intoxicated, speeding at 86 mph in a 45 mph zone,
falsification
after purposely providing the wrong name and three different
birth dates
to officers, and driving under suspension. He was stopped by
officers on
Post Road, east of Hyland Croy Road after he was observed to be
speeding
Sunday at 2:30 a.m.
According to police reports:
Criminal
damaging was reported Monday at 7:45 a.m. after someone
attempted to break a
window on a car in the 400 block of Oak Street with
a storm sewer grate.
A
Kenny Lane resident reported the theft of checks Monday at 1:46 p.m.
John E.
Ward, 35, of 121 1/2 N. Plum St. was arrested Monday at 8:16
p.m. on a
failure to appear in court warrant out of the Marysville Municipal
Court.
Monday at 3:09 p.m. an 88-year-old male was reported missing from
the
700 block of South Walnut Street and was quickly located in the area
of
Plum Street. He was taken to Memorial Hospital of Union County
for evaluation.

According to sheriff's reports:
Sunday at 12:52 a.m. a resident in the 18000
block of Route 739 reported
being inside when the glass on the front door
suddenly shattered. It was
discovered that a bullet had been shot at the
door. The incident remains
under investigation.
A woman in the 21000 block
of Liberty West Road reported that her
39-year-old husband left on Friday to
pay the electric bill and never
returned. The man is listed as
missing.
Charges for operating a vehicle intoxicated are pending against
Susan
Cole, 46, of Broadway, who was arrested Saturday at 12:07 a.m.
for
weaving in the road. She was stopped by officers at Route 31 at
Quail
Hollow Drive. Official charges are pending laboratory results.
David
Sawyer, 36, of 1033 Creekview Drive was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated Saturday at 1:40 a.m. He was found asleep and behind
the wheel,
with the engine running, while parked on Route 4 at Route 37.
A
counterfeit check was allegedly used to pay for merchandise at a
business in
the 19000 block of Route 739 Thursday at 10 a.m. The
business reported a
theft of $4,300.

7-year-old female. The incident is under investigation.

arrested Friday at 1:41
p.m. for an outstanding warrant out of the Marysville
Municipal Court.
A business in the 15000 block of Watkins Road reported
receiving
fraudulent checks as payment for merchandise Friday at 1:51
p.m.
Harley J. Evans, 20, of 67 Woodcrest Drive was arrested Friday at
7:38
p.m. for driving under suspension and possession of drugs after
a
traffic stop on East Sixth Street.
Natasha N. Conrad, 25, of 233 1/2 S.
Maple St. was arrested Saturday at
12:55 a.m. on an outstanding warrant at
Lee Dog's Locker Room.
Police are investigating an assault that occurred
during a fight at the
rear of Lee Dog's Locker Room Saturday at 12:55
a.m.
An electric pole was reportedly damaged by a vehicle Saturday
at
midnight in the 500 block of West Eighth Street.
A North Lewisburg
resident reported Saturday morning that his 2005 Honda
vehicle was stolen
from a business on Industrial Parkway sometime over
Friday night. The vehicle
was later recovered out of a crash handled by
the Union County Sheriff's
Office. The theft is under investigation.
Saturday a resident in the 100
block of Van Kirk Drive reported his
vehicle was damaged, perhaps while
unknown people stole lawn ornaments
from his yard.
A 7-year-old female was

Justin South, 20, of 820 Hickory Drive was arrested

p.m. for felony drug trafficking warrants on East Ninth
Street.
According to sheriff's reports:
Thursday at 10:36 a.m. a business
in the 7000 block of Industrial
Parkway reported that someone broke the lock
off the gate and stole a
1999 Ford F350 pick up truck, valued at $10,000, off
the lot.
At 1:44 p.m. that day a business in the same area reported the theft
of
a 20 ft. trailer and two John Deere lawn mowers, valued at
$25,000.

A Belmont Drive resident reported that her
13-year-old daughter was

person was injured in a two-car crash Wednesday at 6:28 p.m. in
Allen
Township.
Joseph J. Yusko, 58, of Westerville was headed westbound on
Honda
Parkway. Driver Carol R. Bliss, 53, of 22664 Reed Road was
headed
eastbound on the same road, when she failed to yield to Yusko's car
as
she tried to turn left onto Northwest Parkway. She pulled into his
path
and was struck on the right side. Yusko was injured and transported
by
Allen Township medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Tiffany
Martin, 25, of Lima was arrested for an outstanding warrant out
of Union
County for failure to appear in court on a traffic offense. She
was picked up
after a traffic stop at the U.S. 33 rest area Wednesday at 11:18
p.m.
Troopers recovered a missing man after a one-car crash today at
12:30 a.m.
David Wegmeyer, 48, of Columbus was traveling westbound on
McBride Road
when he failed to stop at the intersection of Springdale Road.
He then
drove into a ditch and crashed. Wegmeyer was not injured, but had
been
reported missing after he wandered off from his home due to a
medical
condition. Wegmeyer was released to his family.

According to police reports:
Tuesday at 4:03 p.m. deputies arrested Terry
Webb, 40, of Bellefontaine
for driving under suspension after a traffic stop
on U.S. 33 in the
eastbound lanes. Charges are pending for possible drug
paraphernalia,
pending lab results.
Deputies arrested three men in the
21000 block of Route 245 Tuesday at
1:55 p.m. after a dispatch call about
people firing weapons in the
backyard of a residence. At the scene, the odor
of burning marijuana was
detected. A search revealed a small amount of the
drug on one person and
two bags of the drug inside a trash can. Daniel
Bolenbaugh, 23, of 120
Northcrest Drive; Steven K. Boyd, 22, of 92 Woodcrest
Drive; and Anthony
Cardine, 23, of 21100 Route 245 were charged with
possession of marijuana.
A log chain was stolen out of a garage in the
20000 block of Coleman
Brake Road sometime on Thursday.
Sometime between
Feb. 25 and Sunday a 1997 Toyota was stolen from a
residence in the 12000
block of Converse Road.

Terry S. Giles, 35,
of West Mansfield, was arrested and charged with
physical control of a motor
vehicle while intoxicated. Police responded
to a fight in the alley behind
Lee Dog's Locker Room Tuesday at 11:08
p.m. and Giles was found intoxicated
and behind the wheel of his car
while the keys were in the ignition.
The
CVS Pharmacy reported on Tuesday the theft of prescription
medications that
occurred sometime on Dec. 20.

Today at 2:32 a.m. a resident in the 800 block of West Fifth

reported a lawn ornament was stolen from his front yard by
unknown suspects.
Saturday at 8:12 a.m. a resident in the 700 block of
Kenny Lane reported
furniture was damaged inside the apartment and the
incident is under investigation.
A woman reported her ex-boyfriend kicked
her vehicle, causing damage
Saturday at 2:31 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Sunday night a flatbed trailer valued at $1,225 was stolen from
a
residence in the 7500 block of Industrial Parkway.
A shed on property in
the 11000 block of Route 47 was broken into
Sunday night and a 1997
four-wheeler ATV was stolen. The vehicle was
valued at $2,500.
Domestic
violence charges are pending against a 15-year-old male after
an incident
Monday at 4:48 p.m. in the 21000 block of Main Street in
Raymond. The male
became unruly and damaged property inside the house
and threatened people
with a knife.
Deputies are investigating a possible violation of a
temporary
protection order reported today at 1:47 a.m. in the 26000 block
of
Claibourne Road. A woman said that her ex-boyfriend is sending
her letters.

According to sheriff's reports:
Robert L. Rutan, 54, of 199 W. Center St. in
Milford Center was arrested
for burglary Saturday at 11:55 p.m. A resident of
a home on Pleasant
Street returned to find the back door damaged and Rutan
passed out on
the floor in the living room. Deputies arrived and made the
arrest.
Prescription medication was stolen from the bedroom of a house in
the
21000 block of West Lake Lee Road Saturday between 4:30 and 11:30
p.m.
Sunday at 4:05 p.m. a resident in the 23000 block of Sandusky Road
came
home to find his yard filled with solar lights, and more than a
hundred
multi-colored reflectors. Anyone missing these items is asked to
call
and report it at 645-4100.
Deputies are investigating a 20-year-old
male who allegedly struck a
14-year-old female in the arm and then grabbed
her buttocks, Sunday in
the 25000 block of Storms Road. The male had
reportedly lied to the
family for a month that he was a
17-year-old.
Computers and tools, valued at $2,900, were reported stolen in
a
breaking and entering crime at a business in the 9000 block of
Heritage
Drive Wednesday night.
The sheriff's office is warning residents
of the county to be aware of
phone solicitors asking for donations to any
sheriff's office causes.
Deputies received a complaint on Thursday from a
Dutton Love Road
resident reported that a man called twice over several days,
asking for
donations for D.A.R.E and canine unit programs at the sheriff's
office.
Lt. Jamie Patton reported this morning that the alleged donation
program is false.
Assault charges are pending against a 14-year-old male
for allegedly
striking a 9-year-old girl, after throwing objects at her on
one
occasion and hitting her with a drawer in the 25000 block of Storms
Road Friday.
Owen K. Fox, 18, of 16707 County Home Road was arrested
Friday at 11:49
a.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated, speeding and
underage
possession of alcohol. A 16-year-old passenger was also cited
for
underage possession and consumption of alcohol. He was observed
throwing
an empty beer can away from the car during the stop.

Smith, 30, of Delaware was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and
speeding Saturday at 3:45 a.m. on Route 4 at Trout Road.
A woman reported
she parked her car at the Richwood Fairgrounds Saturday
between 1 and 3 p.m.
while she went for a horse ride. When she returned,
the car has been keyed on
several sides, causing $500 in damages.
A 17-year-old male was cited for
failure to stop for a school bus stop
sign Friday at 3:25 p.m. on East State
Street in Milford Center.

was reportedly being attacked by several younger
males in the 200 block of

27, of 263 W. Third St. was arrested on a warrant for
failure to appear in
court out of Marysville Municipal Court.
Sunday at 4 p.m. a resident in the
700 block of Meadows Drive reported
that someone vandalized the doors and
outside walls of his home with writing.

a vehicle was spray painted by
unknown suspects Sunday at 1:56

Richard A. Clapp II, 43, of 1233 Woodline Drive was cited for
allowing
his dog to run at large Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

a resident in the 700 block of West Fourth Street
reported a person was
inside his car, in an apparent theft attempt. The
suspect was not
located.
James E. Souders, 21, of Cable was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, high blood alcohol levels and expired registration after
he
was stopped on North Main Street Sunday at 12:38 a.m.
A 17-year-old
Marysville male was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, under age
possession of alcohol, failure to drive in marked
lanes and high blood
alcohol content after a stop on West Fifth Street.
Bryan W. Coulter, 35, of
Bellefontaine was charged with failure to
comply with police orders, having
no driver's license, littering and
child endangerment Saturday at 4:35 p.m.
Coulter was pulled over and was
asked to move his car further off the road
for safety reasons. He then
drove off and was observed throwing drug
paraphernalia out the window.
He then drove north of Route 33 at Route 4.
Inside the car at the time
was his 4-year-old son.

Saturday at 12:35 a.m. one person was injured in a one-car crash
in Allen Township.
Harold W. Newell, 56, of Columbus was driving
southbound on Honda
Parkway when he illegally went left onto U.S. 33 to the
westbound off
ramp. Newell then drove off the right side of the road, hit a
guardrail,
a do not enter sign and stop sign post and then went over an
embankment.
Newell was injured in the crash and was transported to Memorial
Hospital
of Union County by Allen Township medics.
Newell was cited for
failure to obey a traffic control device.
Christian Quehl, 27, of Dublin was
arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a stop on U.S. 33 in Allen
Township Tuesday at 9:34 p.m.

According to police reports:
A concession stand at Eljer Park was vandalized
with spray paint
sometime between 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 6 a.m. on
Thursday.
Breaking and entering was reported on a house in the 500 block of
Dove
Street. The incident occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 3:30
p.m. Thursday.
Criminal trespassing was reported after a resident
complained that an
uninvited woman had come into her home in the 100 block of
Northcrest
Drive Thursday at 10:25 p.m. and was drinking vodka on her front
porch.
No charges have been filed.
Thomas Kellough, 43, of Frankfort was
arrested during a traffic stop on
South Main Street for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, drug possession
and drug paraphernalia today at 3:50
a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
A resident in the 7000 block of
Montgomery Drive reported that an
unknown person wrote a bad check for
$789.43 in August and now the fees
have increased the amount to $903.38. The
report is under investigation.
Lisa A. Williams, 46, of Columbus was
arrested Thursday at 8:26 p.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated. She was
stopped in the area of U.S. 33
at U.S. 36 after she was visibly weaving in
the road. Williams was also
cited for driving outside of marked lanes. When
officers stopped her
car, she threw a 40 oz. bottle of beer out the
window.
Prescription medication was reportedly stolen from a home in the
14000
block of Pleasant Ridge Drive sometime between Feb. 22 and
23.

Drive reported two instances
of theft from people driving off without paying
for gas today at 1:18
a.m. and then again at 6 a.m.
Wednesday at 3:18 p.m.
a 10-year-old Nutmeg Drive resident reported
being hit by a rock thrown by
other juveniles. The incident is now under investigation.
Police arrested
numerous people for outstanding warrants for failure to
appear in court,
throughout the morning today. Arrested were Mary Shoaf,
46, of 304 N. Cherry
St.; Robert W. Foster, 26, of 706 Kenny Lane;
Charles L. Craig, 29, of 756
Kenny Lane and Paul D. Shaw, 58, of 179
Hillcrest Drive. Police also arrested
Bret A. Taylor, 44, of 16740
Mackan Road for an outstanding domestic violence
warrant.
According to sheriff's reports:
Wednesday at 7:17 a.m. a woman
reported she was driving eastbound on
U.S. 33 near routes 739 and 245 when a
man inside a car going by exposed
himself to her. The incident is under
investigation.
On Wednesday a resident in the 14000 block of Payne Road
reported
receiving a speeding violation after a speed camera took a photo of
a
license plate on the suspected car. The license plate was actually
an
old license tag that was expired from a car the family had
previously
sold. The incident is now under investigation.
An attempted
breaking and entering was reported Wednesday at 10:51 a.m.
in the 8000 block
of Corporate Boulevard. Damage was found on the door.
A $200 "chopper-style"
bicycle was reported stolen from the front yard
of a residence in the 23000
block of Rushylvania Wednesday at 7:45 a.m.

According to police reports:
Jerry Moore, 58, of 14800 Route 36 was arrested
by the Hilliard Police
Department Tuesday at 7:16 p.m. on a warrant for
passing bad checks.
A report of a white pill and a glass pipe, allegedly used
for smoking
drugs, were found on a man as he was being booked into the
Tri-County
Regional Jail Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on an arrest warrant. The
substance
is being investigated, as well as possible charges.
Michael
Shreve, 39, of 203 Chestnut St. was arrested for disorderly
conduct Tuesday
at 9:33 p.m. after he was found intoxicated and lying on
the ground in front
of a business in the 100 block of East Fifth Street.
Michael Carr, 24, of
836 Collins Ave. was arrested at his home on a
warrant for assault charges
today at 2:30 a.m.
Patricia Taylor, 22, of 431 1/2 E. Sixth St. was arrested
on a failure
to appear in court warrant today at 6:54 a.m.
Paul D. Shaw,
58, of 179 Hillcrest Drive was arrested today at 7:26 a.m.
on a failure to
appear in court warrant.
According to sheriff's reports:
A person in the
10000 block of Harriott Road reported losing several
hundred dollars in an
e-Bay Internet purchase on Feb. 8. The incident is under investigation.
A
17-year-old male driver was cited for illegally passing a stopped
school bus
on Shirk Road. Deputies checked the license plate of the car
and later cited
the man Monday at 6:54 a.m.
Between Sunday night and Monday morning, someone
attempted to break into
a residence in the 8000 block of Estates Parkway. An
alarm in the home
went off that night and in the morning pry marks were found
on the door.
Sometime between Jan. 14 and Tuesday, a man reported a check
was taken
from his checkbook and $200 was stolen.

reports:
One person was injured in a two-car crash on Route 161
Tuesday.
At 5:25 p.m. driver Suzanne Darling, 56, of 1345 Valley Drive was
headed
northwest on Memorial Drive. Driver Christopher Avrett, 19,
of
Worthington was headed southbound on Industrial Parkway. As the
vehicles
approached the intersection at Route 161, Avrett failed to yield
to
Darling's vehicle, as he was turning left. He struck her 2006 BMW
with
his 1989 Mercury and was cited for causing the crash. Darling
suffered
minor visible injuries and was transported by Jerome Township medics
to
Memorial Hospital of Union County. Avrett suffered possible
injuries,
but was not transported.
