11/30/06 According to police reports: Danielle S. Clevenger, 23, of Prospect was
arrested Wednesday at 8:24 a.m. in the 100 block of East Sixth Street on an
outstanding warrant by the Union County Sheriff's Office . Police are
investigating a suspicious condition involving two missing teenage girls who
reported Wednesday at 1:09 p.m. that they were raped by two unknown males in
Columbus. The report was referred to the Columbus Police
Department. Wednesday at 9:22 a.m. a resident reported someone attempted to
gain entry through the rear door of his attached garage in the 500 block
of Timberview Drive, sometime between November 22 through November 27.
No entry was made into the building. A 15-year-old female was charged with
being unruly after becoming verbally abusive to family members in Wednesday
at 10:50 a.m. in the 500 block of S. Walnut Street. A business in the 1200
block of West Fifth Street reported Wednesday at 11:39 a.m. that a customer
rented a tile saw for one day on Oct. 25 and has not returned it. A
resident in the 200 block of Southwood Drive reported Wednesday at 5:12 p.m.
that the gas cap to her vehicle was stolen. According to sheriff's
reports: Tuesday at 9:49 a.m. a resident in the 31000 block of Route 31
reported she received a telephone call indicating someone had been trying to
pick up a household member's prescription without their permission.
The prescription was canceled prior to being received by anyone.

reports. 11/29/06 According to police reports: Corman Barth Scranton III, 42, of 227 Caddie
Drive was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and
failure to control his car after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Charles
Lane Tuesday at 7:54 p.m. A business in the 400 block of West Fifth Street
reported that on Oct. 27 a person exchanged counterfeit Mexican pesos for
cash. The report is under investigation. A resident in the 500 block of
Buckeye Street reported Tuesday at 3 p.m. that two former home care nurses
may have stolen his ID card and opened a Wal-Mart credit card
account. Tuesday at 6:07 p.m. a resident in the 400 block of East Seventh
Street reported that someone stole a purse from her car. According to
sheriff's reports: Someone reportedly broke into a shed and car, stealing a
$60 toolbox. The incident was reported by a resident in the 7000 block of
Montgomery Drive Monday at 10:53 a.m. Mark Warner, 18, of Richwood was
charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic
stop on Treaty Line Road at Phelps Road Tuesday at 6:56 p.m. Deputies are
investigating threats a father made to his daughter's boyfriend Tuesday at
8:12 p.m. in the 13000 block of U.S. 36. A man reported to deputies that his
girlfriend may commit suicide Tuesday at 10:50 p.m. She was found reading a
book at her home on Bear Swamp Road and was not suicidal. According to OSP
reports: No reports. 11/28/06 According to police reports: Child neglect charges are under review after a
17-year-old female was reportedly kicked out of her home on South Walnut
Street Monday at 1 p.m. The incident stemmed from an argument with her
parents over the weekend. The report has been referred to the Department of
Human Services. At 4 a.m. today in the 200 block of West Third Street, a
17-year-old male reported that his mother and aunt have been intoxicated and
making conditions in the home difficult to live in. Monday at 10 p.m.
police responded to a report of a mentally disturbed person in the 700 block
of West Eighth Street. On the scene, a 13-year-old male was outside the home
shouting. The case was referred to Department of Human Services. According
to sheriff's reports: Assault charges are pending against a 13-year-old
Milford Center female after she reportedly stabbed a 13-year-old Plain City
male two times in the arm with a pencil during a dispute at the Fairbanks
Middle School gymnasium Nov. 16 at 2:50 p.m. The incident was reported to
police on Nov. 22 at 8 a.m. Ben Conrad, 31, of 216 N. Court St. and Larry
Reisinger, 23, of Raymond were both charged with one count of attempted
theft. A man reported that he witnessed two men loading his father's aluminum
pile into a truck in the 12000 block of Route 347 Tuesday at 12:37 p.m. The
man called his father, who told him the men did not have permission and asked
that charges be filed. Charges are pending against a 25-year-old
Mechanicsburg female after a credit card was reportedly stolen out of an
office drawer at a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway Monday at
11:12 a.m. A look into the history of charges made resulted in the pending
charges against her. A 34-year-old woman cited "religious reasons" for not
filing assault charges against her boyfriend after an argument in the 500
block of Fourth Street in Unionville Center Monday at 12:15 p.m. Deputies
arrived on the scene to find visible injuries on her face and arms caused
during the fight and photographed the evidence as part of the
report. Deputies were called to investigate suspicious bags found along
Rausch Road Monday at 5:36 p.m. The bags contained deer carcasses,
with amputated legs and racks removed. Hunter littering is suspected, but
the case was referred to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. A deer
tree stand was reported stolen from a property sometime between 3 and 4 p.m.
Monday from the 32000 block of Shertzer Road. According to OSP reports: No
reports. 11/27/06 According to police reports: For the second time teenage suspects broke into
the former GI Plasteks building and caused severe vandalism. Police reports
show that Sunday at 5:30 p.m. officers were notified that two juveniles were
witnessed damaging the side of the building in the 600 block of Clymer
Road. According to the owners of the building, the teenagers who broke
in caused another estimated $20,000 in damages. The vandalism comes just a
few weeks after previous suspects broke into the building, causing $20,000 in
damages to walls and air conditioning units. After breaking into the
building, suspects used forklifts to smash down garage doors and break into
other buildings. While pursuing the teenage suspects, a Marysville Police
Department cruiser was damaged. The owners of the building are asking parents
or juveniles with any information on the vandalism to come forward. Cassie
R. Sloan, 22, of 648 W. Third St. was arrested and charged for criminal
damaging and persistent disorderly conduct after an incident in the 100 block
of North Main Street Saturday at 11:45 p.m. Sloan then kicked out the window
of a police cruiser as she was being arrested. Deann L Partlow, 43, of 599
Kenny Lane was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and
driving with an open container of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 1000
block of West Fifth Street Sunday at 4:15 a.m. Sunday at 11:29 a.m. a
resident reported discovering someone had entered his car overnight and stole
a wallet from the car parked in the 200 block of Todd Court. Scott
Ellinger, 35, of 625 Milford Ave. was arrested for domestic violence after
throwing a flashlight at his mother, which struck her in the face Friday at
2:47 p.m. at his home. Unknown suspect attempted to break into construction
site trailers on Creekview Drive this weekend. Cash was stolen from a
purse which an employee left in the break room at the new McDonald's on Route
31 Friday. A purse was reported stolen from a car Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the
300 block of Elwood Avenue. According to sheriff's reports: Elizabeth
Carver, 30, of 14248 Pleasant Ridge Drive was arrested for two counts of
domestic violence Thursday at 10:05 a.m. in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge
Drive. Carver allegedly assaulted her boyfriend and her mother during an
argument. The two victims had suffered minor injuries and had visible
wounds. Thursday at 1:44 p.m. a resident in the 23000 block of Route 47
reported his keys possibly stolen after leaving them in the garage. James
Cox, 45, of 19560 Bear Swamp Road was charged with one count of domestic
violence after assaulting his ex-wife Friday at 10:26 a.m. at his
home. Mailbox vandalism was reported to have hit two neighborhoods
Friday night. Seven residential properties were struck in the 8000 block
of Long Road. Another two residences were hit the same night in the
21000 block of Paver Barnes Road. Unknown suspects broke the window to a
business in the 10000 block of U.S. 47 Saturday at 11:20 p.m. Upon arrival,
deputies found no one inside and nothing has been reported
stolen. Deputies are investigating charges against a 67-year-old Marysville
man for obstructing official police business. He was allegedly involved in
a traffic crash on Coleman Brake Road on Nov. 5. He claimed to not be
the driver of the crash, although evidence indicates he may have been
lying. No charges have been filed at this time. According to OSP

charged with disorderly conduct and Ray E. Hart, 38, of Meadows Drive was
charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and
disorderly conduct Tuesday at 11:28 p.m. after a fight at a business in the
100 block of North Main Street. A resident reported someone was illegally
using their water at their residence in the 1500 block of Rebecca Drive
Tuesday at 12:57 p.m. Numerous items, including a wallet with credit cards,
was stolen out of a car parked in the 400 block of Parkway Drive Monday
night. A resident reported felony theft after a power chair was stolen
from their patio area in the 300 block of Rosehill Drive Sunday
night. Monday at 6 p.m. a resident in the 400 block of South Oak
Street reported leaving a purse at a restaurant and discovering cash
was missing when it was located. A business in the 300 block of North Main
Street reported the theft of cash and checks from over the
weekend. According to sheriff's reports: Breaking and entering was
reported Monday at 8:35 a.m. after someone tried to gain entry into a storage
area at a business in the 8000 block of Memorial Drive. Video footage shows a
man wearing khaki pants, and a dark shirt with yellow lettering. He was
driving a white older model car. No entry was gained, but he damaged the lock
on the door. A car was reported stolen from a repair shop in the 24000 block
of Honda Parkway. The car was being repaired and was parked outside the
building on Nov. 15 and it was discovered missing on Nov. 16. According to
OSP reports: No reports 11/21/06 According to sheriff's reports: Deputies are investigating a 37-year-old man
for possible charges of impersonating a police officer. A traffic stop was
made Monday at 3:20 p.m. at an unreported location and the driver displayed a
police officer identification and badge to the officer, later to be
discovered expired. No charges were filed after two adult brothers were
reportedly fighting in the 7000 block of McKitrick Road Sunday at 8:26 p.m.
Both had minor injuries but did not wish to pursue charges. A truck was
reportedly keyed in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 East in Dover Township Monday
at 12:31 p.m. No charges are being filed in a fight between a father and son
that became physical Monday at 12:14 a.m. in the 32000 block of Carter
Road. The son had knocked the father down during the argument. According
to OSP reports: Erica Honerkamp, 33, of 22026 Boord Road was transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County early Monday by emergency services after
her vehicle went off Route 245. Monday at 6:50 a.m., Honerkamp was
eastbound and passing slower traffic when her vehicle went off the left side
of the road before striking a fence and utility pole. The vehicle received
minor damage. Honerkamp was cited for failure to control. 11/20/06 According to police reports: A woman reported witnessing her dog get abducted
and then thrown out of a van after the suspect left the area in the 100 block
of Cottonwood Drive Friday at 4:30 p.m. Friday at 11:38 a.m. a resident in
the 900 block of West Fifth Street reported theft of services after a
neighbor used his household utilities without permission. A retail store
in the 800 block of Coleman's Crossing Boulevard reported Friday at 11:56
a.m., implicating an employee in the theft of more than $5,000 in merchandise
from the company The theft is currently under investigation. Michael
Showalter, 29, of 323 S. Walnut St., was arrested for assault after an
incident Friday at 7:18 p.m. when he fought with his estranged girlfriend at
a gas station in downtown Marysville. A woman was transported to Memorial
Hospital of Union County Friday at 11 p.m. after overdosing on medication and
large amounts of alcohol in the 700 block of Meadows Drive. Fidel C.
Hernandez, 22, of 203 1/2 Chestnut St., was arrested and charged with
domestic violence after a fight with his wife Saturday at 2:29 a.m. A
woman reported she woke up Saturday and discovered her vehicle missing. The
car also contained her purse and some cash. The theft is under
investigation. Matthew L. Miller, 24, of West Mansfield, was arrested for
disorderly conduct Sunday at 3:19 a.m. after he attempted to get inside a
vehicle on West Third Street and then ran down an alleyway. On Sunday a
resident reported his vehicle was damaged overnight in the 200 block of West
Third Street. James Douglass Maple, 29, of Springfield, was arrested for
assault Sunday at 4:52 a.m. after a fight with his girlfriend in the 200
block of Fairview Avenue. Money was reported stolen from an unlocked car
parked in the 600 block of West Fifth Street Sunday at 9:14 a.m. According
to sheriff's reports: Drug possession charges are pending against a
53-year-old man Thursday at 11:07 a.m. in the 22000 block of Collins
Road. Fairbanks Elementary School in Milford Center reported the theft of
$700 in fundraising money collected and ready for pickup Friday at 2:06
p.m. The bags had been placed at several doors for pick up and several
were missing. Justin Goodwillie, 28, of 330 Scott Farm Boulevard, was
arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated and driving outside of marked
lanes Saturday at 3:06 a.m. after a stop on U.S. 33 at U.S. 36. Deputies
responded to the 18000 block of Route 347 for a man allegedly struck by a car
Saturday at 12:56 p.m. On the scene a 20-year-old man from Broadway claimed
he was hit by a car traveling some 40 mph. The man later admitted he made the
story up in order to get back at his girlfriend after an argument. West
Central Corrections Facility reported a 26-year-old man attempted suicide by
hanging himself with bedsheets Friday at 10:13 p.m. He was transported by
medics for care. Deputies are investigating incidents involving a neighbor
killing another neighbor's cats, as reported Friday at 7:10 p.m. in the
25000 block of Storms Road. Juvenile assault charges are pending against a
17-year-old male inmate of Central Ohio Youth Center Saturday at 9:14 p.m.
after he reportedly punched a 14-year-old male inmate in the face. A
resident in the 22000 block of Mackadow Road reported she was contacted by
her credit card company about the illegal purchase of $452 in books from an
online business Sunday at 12:44 p.m. The woman reportedly did not suffer any
monetary loss because the theft was caught. Deputies are investigating
possible domestic violence charges after a man and his ex-wife claimed the
other physically assaulted them during a custody exchange Sunday at 6:54 p.m.

was arrested Thursday at 7:29 a.m. for driving under suspension after a
traffic stop in the area of Valley Drive. Herman J. Niehaus, 40, of 612 W.
Third St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear out of
Municipal Court. A bike was found by a resident in the 100 block of Willow
Drive Thursday at 12:52 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Maranatha
Drive reports receiving unwanted phone calls. The report was filed Thursday
at 2:35 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of north Cherry Street reports that
her husband is missing after locating his abandoned vehicle on Route 245.
He is described as a male wearing blue jeans, blue long-sleeve
shirt, Carhardt bib overalls and a Lobe blue ball cap. The report was
filed Thursday at 4 p.m. A resident of the Meadows Drive apartments
reports that her 10-year-old son was strong armed at the bus stop and his
cell phone was taken from him. The matter is under investigation and was
filed Thursday at 5:27 p.m. A portable police radio from an unknown agency
was recovered from a business in the 15000 block of Route 36 Thursday at 6:38
p.m. A resident in the 500 block of North Main Street reported that his
1982 Honda motorcycle was damaged sometime between June 1 to July 4.
The complaint was filed Thursday at 9:06 p.m. Laura D. Davisson, 34, 416
Emmaus Road, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while
intoxicated and marked lanes following a traffic stop on U.S. 33 at Route 4.
The complaint was filed Thursday at 10:53 p.m. Richard D. Ambrose, 69,
18105 Route 4, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while
intoxicated following a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Main Street.

Raymond business in the 21000 block of Main Street reports that an individual
in a white, full-size van paid for one bag of softener and loaded five bags.
The value was listed at $25. The incident occurred Thursday at 11:16
a.m. A torch gauge assembly was removed from a residential property in
the 16000 block of Fish Daum Road Thursday at 8:40 p.m. The value was
listed at $250. According to OSP reports: Brian Windle, 29, of Urbana
was charged with OVI Thursday at 5:26 p.m. after his northwestbound vehicle
went off the right side of Route 736, through a ditch and struck a
fence. 11/16/6 According to police reports: The Columbus Police Department is investigating
the incidents that led up to a 34-year-old man who entered the Memorial
Hospital of Union County emergency room with a gunshot wound to the knee
Wednesday at 8:06 a.m. The wound reportedly occurred in Columbus. Cody J.
Long, 22, of 40 Woodcrest Drive was arrested and charged with driving under
suspension, possession of drugs and two counts of possession of drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on South Maple Street today at 12:39
a.m. A 16-year-old male reported that his father kicked him out of his
home in the 1400 block of Creekview Drive Wednesday at 8:20 p.m. after
an argument with his step-mother. A female resident of DeGraff reported
that a male resident of Galloway talked her into opening a checking account
at a business in the 400 block of West Fifth Street in order to deposit
Mexican pesos Wednesday at 6:19 p.m. Wednesday at 4:26 p.m. a man in the
18000 block of Boerger Road reported that someone placed two dead raccoons on
his driveway. Police are investigating a report of a 14-year-old female in
the 200 block of West Third Street who claimed that her mother was
intoxicated and had become verbally and physically abusive Wednesday at 11:55
a.m. Three females were reportedly involved in a fight at the Marysville
High School Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. As a result, a 15-year-old
Marysville female was cited for assault and disorderly conduct and suspended
from school. She had allegedly started the fight with the two other
females, ages 17 and 14. According to sheriff's reports: A 13-year-old
male and a 12-year-old male reported separate incidents of a 13-year-old
female who assaulted them Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Fairbanks Middle School. Two
juvenile assault charges are pending against the female suspect. A home in
the 32000 block of Route 37 was forcibly entered Tuesday at 3:39 p.m. and a
total of $765 in weapons were stolen. Aggravated burglary was reported
Tuesday at 7:43 p.m. after someone entered a home in the 15000 block of Fish
Daum Road and stole $650 in weapons while two residents were asleep
inside. Wednesday at 4:55 a.m. a 17-year-old Delaware County inmate of
the Central Ohio Youth Center on Route 4 was found in possession of
drug paraphernalia. Two Central Ohio Youth Center staff members reported
being assaulted by a 15-year-old female Wednesday. According to OSP
reports: No reports. 11/15/06 According to police reports: Stacey L. Chenault, 31, of Mechanicsburg, was
charged with domestic violence following a physical altercation with her
16-year-old daughter while in the 700 block of North Maple Street Tuesday at
8:54 p.m. A 15-year-old female was charged with assault and disorderly
conduct following a physical altercation with two other females, ages 14 and
17, while at the Marysville High School Tuesday at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday at
11:40 a.m. a 14-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct and unruly
juvenile behavior following an incident at the Marysville Middle School. A
resident in the 900 block of West Fifth Street reported that a male suspect
stole a money order from her residence and then attempted to cash it at a
bank in the 200 block of West Fifth Street Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. A
14-year-old male was reported missing following an argument with his mother
in the 200 block of West Third Street Tuesday at 9:05 p.m. The male left the
residence without his parent's permission. 11/14/06 According to police reports: An abandoned warehouse and another outbuilding
in the 600 block of Clymer Road were vandalized sometime over the weekend.
Severe damage was reportedly caused to the interior of the building, after
suspects drove forklifts into objects. The building was previously occupied
by GI Plasteks. Pamela S. Schenk, 58, of Magnetic Springs was arrested for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on North Main Street
in Marysville Monday at 2:26 a.m. Mitchell T. Wirtz, 18, of 1463 Sassafras
Lane was charged with domestic violence after he was witnessed assaulting his
mother Monday at 9:30 p.m. near his home. Drug abuse was reported after a
man from the 600 block of West Third Street was transported to Memorial
Hospital of Union County for a possible overdose Monday at 4:40 p.m. The
incident is currently under investigation. A vehicle parked in the 1100
block of Charles Lane was scraped on Monday by an unknown person. Monday
at 4 p.m. a 14-year-old female was caught stealing snack food from a business
in the 600 block of West Third Street. A resident in the 500 block of North
Main Street reported his mother took cash and used his car without permission
Monday at 5:34 p.m. Charges for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle are under
investigation. A bike was reported stolen from a front porch of a home in
the 500 block of North Main Street Monday at 5:34 p.m. A woman reported
being assaulted by her estranged husband during a custody exchange Monday at
6:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Wagon Wheel Lane. Monday at 8:57 p.m. a bike
was stolen while the owner was visiting a friend in the 500 block of Amrine
Mill Road. According to sheriff's reports: Sometime over the weekend
unknown suspects broke into a trailer in the 8000 block of Estates Parkway in
Plain City and stole $2,000 in tools and equipment. Monday at 1:41 p.m. a
resident in the 21000 block of Liberty West Road reported the theft of a
briefcase containing about $1,000 in jewelry. Suspects in the theft filed a
counter report that items had been stolen from them by the woman who reported
the jewelry theft. According to OSP reports: Driver Kevin Hamilton, 27, of
122 S. Walnut St. apt. A was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated,
failure to maintain control of his car and a seatbelt violation Monday at 11
p.m. Hamilton was reportedly driving south on Route 37 when he lost control
and went off the left side of the roadway and collided into a brick garage
building in Leesburg Township. Hamilton was transported by medics to Ohio
State University Hospital with serious injures. One person was injured in
a two-car crash Saturday at 7:40 p.m. on Route 31 at Echo Drive. Driver
Victoria Lemaster, 31, of 23589 East Street in Broadway was driving
southbound on Route 31 when driver Wesley Allen, 18, of 610 E. Sixth St.
drove into her path. Allen was headed north on Route 31 when he attempted to
turn left onto Echo Drive. Lemaster was injured in the collision and
transported by Marysville medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County. Allen
was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic. 11/13/06 According to police reports: Police are investigating a possible arson which
involved a dumpster set on fire at the Elmwood Villa apartments on Allenby
Drive Saturday at midnight. Friday at 3:50 p.m. a 68-year-old man was
found to have committed suicide by hanging in the 700 block of Kentucky
Circle. Carlyle Randle, 19, of Canton was arrested for possession of
drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 Sunday at 10:53
p.m. Russell Walker, 18, of Canton was arrested for possession of drugs
after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 in the same stop. A bike was reported
stolen from a front porch Friday in the 100 block of West Sixth
Street. Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges are under review after
a woman reported her estranged boyfriend took her car after an
argument Saturday at 12:40 a.m. The boyfriend was found with the car by
another police agency. A resident in the 400 block of West Third Street
came home at 12:41 a.m. Saturday and discovered his front door had been
kicked in. A woman in the 500 block of North Main Street reported her son and
a family member had used her credit card without permission Saturday
at 5:21 p.m. A resident from the 100 block of First Street reported the
rear window of his car was broken out while driving on Third Street Saturday
at 7:05 p.m. A 17-year-old male from the Meadows Apartment Complex was
found intoxicated Sunday at 12:08 a.m. The male was transported by medics
to Memorial Hospital of Union County and was charged with
underage consumption. Sunday at 2:25 a.m. a 14-year-old male was charged
with violating curfew after he was found on West Third
Street. Prescription medication was reported stolen from a residence in the
400 block of Windmill Drive Sunday at 4:30 p.m. No charges have been filed
in a report of domestic violence Sunday at 5:30 p.m. after a man was
reportedly struck in the head by his wife in the 500 block of London
Avenue. According to sheriff's reports: A sexual assault report is
currently under investigation, involving an intoxicated 36-year-old female
victim. Deputies responded to East Park Street in Magnetic Springs Saturday
at 7:09 p.m. The woman was transported by medics the Grady Memorial Hospital
for care. Three five-gallon cans full of gasoline were stolen from a property
in the 21000 block of Liberty West Road Friday. Sunday at 1:05 p.m. a
resident in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway reported his car window was
smashed out and tools were stolen. The theft caused $200 in damages and $200
worth of tools were stolen. Christopher D. Wells, 36, of Mechanicsburg was
cited for violating a temporary protection order filed against him by his
wife as a result of a previous domestic violence incident in Madison County.

38 at Streng Road. Sunday at 3:57 p.m. a father took his 11-year-old son
to the sheriff's office to receive charges for unruly theft after the male
stole $85 from him. The male had also stolen a Game Boy video player from
another student on his school bus. A 17-year-old male filed an assault
report Sunday at 8:50 p.m. after he claims he was struck by a Central Ohio
Youth Center staff member. The charges are currently under
investigation. A total of $528 in tools were stolen from a car parked in the
8100 block of Business Way in Jerome Township Thursday night. A 1994
Mercury Cougar was stolen Friday as the owner left his car running in order
to retrieve a dog at the rear of his property. The car was later recovered on
Liberty West Road. No charges have been filed against a man who drove his car
through a hay field in the 27000 block of Newton Perkins Road Saturday at 3
a.m. The field owner and the driver have worked out payments to repair the
ruts caused by the car. According to OSP reports: Jason Swisher, 27, of
1253 Valley Drive was charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated after a
traffic stop on Route 31 Saturday at 2:35 a.m. 11/10/06 According to police reports: James D. Thoburn, 32, of 437 E. Ninth St. was
arrested and charged with open container and public indecency in the 100
block of East Fifth Street Thursday at 6:59 p.m. Thoburn was witnessed
urinating in public and exposing his buttocks. Two children playing in the
600 block of Allenby Drive were reportedly involved in a dispute, after four
other children allegedly put an soft air gun to their heads and pointed a bow
and arrow at them Thursday. A resident in the 1300 block of Woodline Drive
reported Thursday that his mailbox was smashed sometime overnight. A
19-year-old female resident of Butternut Drive was reported missing Thursday
at 11:11 a.m. She has not been heard from since 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The
report is under investigation. A business in the 1000 block of Delaware
Avenue reported that a male customer wrote a bad check for $1001.10 to
purchase a generator Thursday. In the 18200 block of Timber Trails a
resident reported on Thursday that his mother-in-law has been harassing him
and his wife. He reported it has happened in the past. A man has
reportedly been writing bad checks on a closed account. A business in the
1000 block of West Fifth Street reported the offenses to police Thursday at
1:50 p.m. A 14-year-old female was reportedly choked by her step-father at
the corner of Tulip and Aspen drives Thursday at 3:59 p.m. The report
is currently under investigation. Two tires were reportedly slashed on a
car parked in the 100 block of Second Street over Thursday night. A stereo
was stolen out of a car parked in the 100 block of Second Street overnight

Thursday after a female resident on State Street in Milford Center found a
school-owned laptop computer in her 16-year-old daughter's

Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Marysville. Driver Carl G. Tucker, 69, of
Zanesville was headed west on U.S. 33 at Route 4 when his car became
disabled. Tucker pulled off the road and started the car up again. As he
began to merge back onto U.S. 33 he pulled in front of driver Richard P.
Lehwald Jr., 53, of Cridersville. Lehwald struck Tucker's car in the back
end. Lehwald was injured in the crash and was transported by Marysville
medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County. Tucker was cited for failure to
drive in marked lanes. A four-year-old female was reportedly examined at a
Virginia hospital regarding a past incident in which her step-father
allegedly sexually assaulted her while she was on summer vacation. The
alleged sexual assault occurred in the 600 block of West Third Street
sometime between June 15 and Aug. 19. An unknown person reportedly used a
debit card belonging to a resident in the 300 block of West Ninth Street to
make on-line purchases sometime between Nov. 4 and 8. A business in the
800 block of East Fifth Street allegedly wrote a bad check to a company in
Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on Sept. 6 and PA company requested
charges. Three rose bushes were reportedly dug up in front of a school
house Wednesday night at a church in the 1000 block of North Maple Street
by an unknown person. Paul E. York, Jr., 42, of 109 Papaya Drive was
arrested today at 4:21 a.m. on an outstanding warrant from Marysville
Municipal Court. According to sheriff's reports: Taryne Wiertel, 19, of
14002 Oxford Drive charged with underage possession/consumption of alcohol
today at 4:25 a.m. Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Oxford Drive
after she was reportedly intoxicated and causing trouble. According to OSP
reports: No reports. 11/8/06 According to police reports: The rear window of a car was broken out Monday
night in the 300 block of Chestnut Street. Police are investigating
possible child abuse after a 3-year-old male on Grove Street was discovered
to have repeated burns on his lower right leg Tuesday at 11 a.m. A
12-year-old male reported that his 22-year-old sister held a knife to his
throat Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Amrine Mill Road. The report
is currently under investigation. A resident in the 1100 block of Rosewood
Drive discovered the rear door had been forced open Tuesday at 2:33 p.m. The
door frame and trim were damaged. No items have been reported missing at this
time. Brandy M. Hudson, 24, of 181 Grove St. was arrested on an
outstanding warrant from Champaign County while in the 900 block of London
Avenue Tuesday at 3:29 p.m. A 14-year-old female was reported as unruly
while in the care of her grandparent on West Third Street Monday at 3:35
p.m. Matthew E. Nolting, 17, of 674 W. Third St. was arrested in the
100 block of East Sixth Street Tuesday at 10:32 p.m. on an
outstanding warrant from Union County. According to sheriff's
reports: A resident in the 8000 block of Hyland Croy Road reported finding a
dead cat on his property, shot through the back with an arrow on Tuesday.
The cat had no ownership tags. No charges were filed after a 23-year-old
Chillicothe woman was found extremely intoxicated by her sister on South Mill
Street in Milford Center Sunday at 4:51 a.m. The woman was transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County for care. Graffiti was discovered spray
painted onto the roadway on North Main Street in Magnetic Springs Monday at
1:25 p.m. 11/7/06 According to police reports: Daniel L. Miller, 27, of Columbus was arrested
on outstanding warrants and charged with attempting to obtain prescription
drugs while a patient at Memorial Hospital of Union County Monday at 8:20
a.m. A resident reported someone tossed a pumpkin through the rear window
of his car sometime overnight Monday in the 500 block of North Main
Street. Monday night a large piece of asphalt was thrown into the window
of a car parked in the 400 block of North Main Street. Crystal Goodson,
41, of 22976 Raymond Road was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 600
block of Kenny Lane. Monday night someone damaged a car parked in the
Community Market parking lot, while trying to steal a stereo inside. The
stereo was not taken. According to sheriff's reports: Some $200 in
damages were caused after a person used a BB gun to shoot at numerous windows
on a home in the 22000 block of Treaty Line Road Saturday night. An
obscenity was spray painted on a stop sign on Corona Lane in Jerome Township

Saturday at 6:57 a.m. Driver Martey L. Shelton, 41, of 1808 Deer Crossing was
driving on U.S. 33 at Waldo Road when he swerved right and struck the side of
a bridge, then swerved and struck a guardrail which caused a flat tire.
Extensive front damage was caused to the vehicle. Shelton was injured
and transported by medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County. He was
cited for failure to control his car. One person was injured in a crash
Sunday at 10:11 a.m. Driver James R. McComas, 46, of 414 S. Main St. was
traveling on Allenby Drive when he reportedly suffered a seizure and lost
control of the car. He went off the left side of the road, into a yard and
parking lot, then struck a utility pole. McComas was transported to Memorial
Hospital of Union County for care and his female passenger was not
injured. Shaun S. Kinn, 25, of Dublin was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated and driving under suspension after a traffic stop on
Route 4 Sunday at 2:35 a.m. A man reported Sunday that his estranged
girlfriend used his credit card without his permission while she was moving
out of his residence in the 700 block of Quail Hollow Drive. Two
15-year-old females reported a physical altercation at the hands of their
step father Sunday at 3:19 p.m. in the 1500 block of Rebecca Drive. The
step-father had not been located at the time of the report. Three 14-year-old
males were arrested for criminal trespassing Sunday at 8 p.m. after they were
caught on the roof of a business in the 500 block of London Avenue. A
cutting torch and oxygen tanks were stolen from a property in the 500 block
of North Main Street Friday at 12:30 p.m. after a storage unit was broken
into. A 14-year-old male is under investigation after he allegedly struck
a 14-year-old female schoolmate while riding the bus home Friday at
6:30 p.m. Two male juveniles were witnessed stealing cigarettes from a
convenient store in the 500 block of South Maple Street Friday at 9:06 p.m.
The juveniles fled the scene before they were identified. A grocery store
in the 500 block of West Fifth Street reported the possibility that alcohol
was stolen after suspicious behavior by a male customer Friday at 10:11 p.m.
The incident is under investigation. Joshua Blinn, 28, of 122 S. Walnut St.
was arrested on a warrant out of Marysville Municipal Court Friday at 11:29
p.m. Criminal damaging charges are pending against a 25-year-old man after
he reportedly kicked the door to a woman's home and became physical
with another woman in the 50 block of Cypress Drive Saturday at 3:03
a.m. An X-Box and various video games were stolen by a family member
Saturday at 11 a.m. in the 400 block of Allenby Drive. A resident in the
1800 block of Chiprock Drive reported finding fecal matter smeared on the
garage Saturday at 11:50 a.m. A man reported that money was stolen from him
while at a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street Saturday at 1:47
a.m. According to sheriff's reports: A resident on East Park Street in
Magnetic Springs reported someone entered the home through an unlocked screen
door Saturday. Nothing was reported stolen. Numerous property owners
reported someone hit their homes with a paint ball gun in northwestern Union
County Friday between midnight and 4 a.m. Areas hit were Yoakum, Osbourne,
Shertzer and Black roads. Deputies responded to the 18000 block of Route 31
Sunday for a man standing in a yard holding a large knife to his chest with
both hands. At one point the man knelt down and put down the knife and
deputies used the Taser weapon to subdue him. No charges have been filed in
the incident. A house was reportedly egged, hit with water balloons and
paint ball in the 21000 block of Hoover Bault Road Friday
night. Miscellaneous items were stolen from a golf course vendor in the
13000 block of Route 38 Saturday night to Sunday morning. Firearms, cash
and an air compressor were reported stolen after a breaking and entering
incident was reported from a home in the 21000 block of Liberty West Road
sometime between Sept. 3 and Sunday. Keith D. McCoy, 20, 31727 Hamilton Road
was arrested for driving under suspension, reckless operation, running stop
signs, and failure to control his vehicle Saturday at 1:59 a.m. A deputy
observed a man riding a red ATV through an alleyway on Grove Street. The
driver ran a stop sign and then ignored the cruiser lights when the deputy
attempted to pull him over. The man rode the ATV northbound in the alley then
cut across a field and struck a pole laying on the ground. The pole
caused the vehicle to roll over and a medic squad was called for his
injuries. A resident came to the Union County Sheriff's Office to report
the possible physical abuse of a 4-year-old female which occurred on
Friday in the 11000 block of U.S. 36. According to OSP reports: No
reports. 11/3/06 According to police reports: David Sawyer, 36, of 173 Northcrest Drive was
charged with possession of an open container of alcohol after a traffic stop
in the 14200 block of Industrial Parkway Thursday at 3:01 p.m. A young
male on a bike fell into the side of a van parked at a business in the 100
block of East Fifth Street Thursday at 5 p.m. The male then fled the
scene. A resident in the 300 block of South Maple Street reportedly received
a suspicious phone call advising she had won $750,000 and was
then requested to send $1,500 for insurance purposes to an address in
Canada Thursday at 6:25 p.m. The resident was advised to disregard the
call. Spencer A. Moffitt, 24, of 1047 Creekview Drive was arrested and
charged with driving under suspension and drug abuse after a traffic stop
on Route 31 at Mill Road Thursday at 7:29 p.m. Matthew R. Todhunter, 18,
of 180 Northcrest Drive was charged with drug abuse after a traffic stop on
East Plum Street Thursday at 9:40 p.m. He was in possession of marijuana and
a small prescription pill. According to sheriff's reports: No
reports. According to OSP reports: No reports. 11/2/06 According to police reports: Joshua E. Blinn, 28, of 122 S. Walnut St. was
charged with assault Wednesday at 1:08 a.m. Later in the day police conducted
a search warrant on his home. As a result, Blinn was also charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia after items were found. Part of the
investigation involved a pit bull dog Blinn possibly used for the assault.
The dog was not found in the home. A business in the 100 block of Emmaus
Road reported an unknown person broke one window on the east side of the
building and attempted to break the south side door window with a concrete
block sometime over Tuesday night. An unknown person reportedly obtained
the credit card information from a customer of a business in the 1100 block
of West Fifth Street. The person used the information to make unauthorized
purchases in California sometime between Oct. 30 and Wednesday. According
to sheriff's reports: No reports. 11/1/06 According to sheriff's reports: Tuesday at 12:21 p.m. Brian Groves, 40, of
Richwood was arrested for two counts of driving under suspension, speeding
and making false statements to an officer. A deputy observed a car speeding
on Route 4 at Kiser Road. The driver tried to flee the area and elude the
stop. The car was later found and pulled over. Groves then made false
statements about himself, also denying he was the speeding driver. Edward
Snyder, 50, 13436 U.S. 36 was arrested Tuesday at 6:32 p.m. for disorderly
conduct for public intoxication after he was found staggering along U.S. 36
east of Marysville. When confronted by the deputy he became
belligerent. Deputies responded to the 24000 block of Lunda Road Tuesday at
8:50 p.m. for a burglary alarm. No suspects were in the home at the time, but
a jar containing some $500 in cash had been stolen. According to police
reports: A suspected abduction turned out to be nothing after an incident in
the 16000 block of Allenby Drive today at 12:51 a.m. An unknown
male reported seeing a female duct taped in the back of a blue van, while
at a business in the area. After investigating, the van was found at
a business in Columbus and the driver and passenger were reportedly
fine. No female was found. A 26-year-old female was found unresponsive in
the 1000 block of Collins Avenue Tuesday at 10:37 p.m. The woman allegedly
took extra prescription medication. She soon responded to officers and was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County for care. An unknown
person drove a car off the street and into the front yard of a residence in
the 100 block of Fairview Avenue Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The car caused large
ruts in the yard. Tiffany D. Drumm, 23, of 332 1/2 W. Seventh St. was
arrested today at 2:47 a.m. on an outstanding warrant out of Marysville
Municipal Court while in the 100 block of East Sixth Street. Daniel J.
Urban, 30, of 836 Collins Ave. was arrested today at 3:18 a.m. and charged
with disorderly conduct intoxication after he was found extremely intoxicated
on West Fifth Street. Joshua E. Blinn, 28, of 122 S. Walnut St. was arrested
today at 4:22 a.m. for assault and drug paraphernalia after an incident at
