9/29/06
According to police reports:
Leann S. Mann, 30, of Bellefontaine was arrested
for operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic stop on East Fifth Street
today at 10:55
a.m. Charges of drug abuse are also pending for the possession
of a Vicodin tablet.
Several laptop computers were stolen from a display
case at Wal-Mart on
Coleman's Crossing during the evening Thursday. The theft
is under investigation.
A 17-year-old male was charged with theft after
taking a bottle of an
alcoholic beverage from a business in the 800 block of
Delaware Avenue Thursday at 5:53 p.m.
Two siblings, ages 13 and
14-years-old, were reported as possibly
physically abused at their home on
East Fifth Street Thursday at 12:15 p.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Thursday at 10:55 a.m. a domestic incident was reported from the
23000
block of U.S. 36. A husband claimed to be struck by his wife and
the
wife claimed to be struck by the husband. The husband had
visible
injuries to his nose, with the wife having no visible injuries.
Charges
are currently under review by the Union County
prosecutor.

According to police reports:
Chad E. Fryman, 30, of West Mansfield was cited
for criminal trespassing
today at 7:30 a.m. after he was found sleeping in a
shed in the 100
block of North Vine Street.
An unknown person struck the
rear window of a 1994 Ford truck with an
object, causing it to shatter. It
happened in the parking lot of an
apartment complex in the 900 block of West
Fifth Street and was reported
to police Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Menacing
between two male Marysville High School students was reported
Wednesday at
11:50 a.m. from Amrine Mill Road.
A business in the 1000 block of West Fifth
Street reported Wednesday at
5:44 p.m. that an unknown person stole two cases
of beer and left the store.
A 13-year-old male was reported unruly
Wednesday at 9:05 p.m. in the 300
block of South Main Street by his
parent.
According to sheriff's reports:
The Union County Department of
Human Services filed an alleged sexual
imposition report out of Magnetic
Springs Monday at 1:33 p.m. involving
three juvenile males, ages 7, 9, 11,
and a male juvenile family member.
The case is under
investigation.
Domestic violence charges are pending against a woman who
allegedly
struck her husband in the head with a bottle Monday in the 9000
block of
New California Drive during a dispute. The male received injuries
and
was transported by medics for care.
The Department of Human Services
filed another alleged child abuse
reported Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. concerning
a juvenile in the 17000
block of Boundary Road. The case remains under
investigation.
Joseph E. Schmelzer, 27, of Zanesfield was charged with
speeding,
driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and possession of
drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop Wednesday at 4:11 p.m.
Clifford A.
Crabbe, 39, of 27 Fountain St. in Magnetic Springs was
charged with operating
a vehicle intoxicated and driving outside of
marked lanes Wednesday at 8:52
p.m. after a traffic stop on North Main
Street, near his street.

According to police reports:
Mary E. Bond, 23, 16790 Mackan Road was arrested
for possession of drugs
after she was found with marijuana at a business in
the 100 block of
North Main Street today at 2:13 a.m. She was also arrested
on an
outstanding warrant out of the Union County Sheriff's Office.
David
K. Goins, 36, of Dublin was arrested today at 3:03 a.m. for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated, expired operator's license, failure to
comply with
license reinstatement and fictitious license plates after a
traffic stop in
the 700 block of Milford Avenue.
Anthony L. Bond, 43, of 863 Watkins Glen
Blvd. was arrested and charged
with operating a vehicle intoxicated and
driving outside of marked lanes
after a traffic stop in the 16000 block of
Route 36 today at 6:24 a.m.
Margaret A. Bailey, 38, of 808 Lakeview Drive was
arrested on an
outstanding warrant from the Marysville Municipal Court
Tuesday at 1:55 p.m.
Graffiti was reportedly written on the tennis courts
at the park on East
Ninth Street Tuesday at 11:23 a.m.
According to
sheriff's reports:
Charges are pending against a 17-year-old male student of
Fairbanks High
School. On Sunday surveillance video footage caught a person
using his
vehicle to cause vandalism toward lights and grass on school
property.
The incident remains under investigation.
Tuesday at 8:03 p.m.
deputies responded to the 20000 block of Middleburg
Plain City Road for a
loose bull in the roadway. The animal was placed
back inside its gated area
by a neighbor, until the bull escaped again
later in the day. The property
owner was contacted and the incidents
remain under investigation.
The
attempted theft of a log splitter was reported from the 24000 block
of Davis
Road. Monday at 10:40 a.m. a resident was chopping wood with
the machine,
when he went for lunch. He returned to find two men pulling
a truck up to the
log splitter. The suspects allegedly left when they
spotted the resident. The
next morning at 2 a.m. the resident awoke to
dogs barking. He checked on the
log splitter and discovered the chain
had been cut. The two suspects may have
fled the scene when the dogs
began barking. The incident remains under
investigation.

According to OSP report:
Three people were injured in a crash Friday at 5:40
a.m. in Allen Township.
Steven W. Thrush, 49, of Milford Center was
driving west on Honda
Parkway. At the same time, driver Vivian R. Boyd, 64,
of Richwood was
driving east on Honda Parkway. Boyd attempted to turn north
into the
Honda of America business entrance and was struck by Thrush's
vehicle
when she drove into his path. Both were injured and transported by
Allen
Township medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Thrush's
passenger, Amy Thrush, 44, of Milford Center, was also injured
and
transported by Liberty Township medics to Memorial Hospital of
Union County.
One person was injured in a crash Friday at 7:50 p.m. in
Millcreek Township.
Willis R. Brownina, Jr., 30, whose address was not
listed, was driving
south on Watkins California Road at Watkins Road when he
lost control
and went off the right side of the roadway, striking a ditch.
Brownina
was transported by Jerome Township medics and taken to Ohio
State
University Hospital. He was cited for failure to control his
vehicle.
Michael Burlingame, 41, of Plain City was arrested for operating
a
vehicle intoxicated Sunday at 1:06 a.m. after a stop on U.S. 42.
Samuel
Hernandez, 23, of Columbus was arrested Sunday at 1:47 a.m. for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated and a seat belt violation after a stop on U.S.
33.
Valente Hernandez, 24, whose address was not listed was arrested
today
at 12:21 a.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated after a stop on
New
California Drive at U.S. 42.
Bradford Johnson, 31, of Dallas, TX. was
arrested today at 3:02 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after being
stopped on U.S. 33.
According to police reports:
Ryan A. Piper, 24, of
Westerville was arrested today at 2:14 a.m. for
operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic s top on U.S. 33.
Passenger Julian M. Barnard,
whose age was not listed, of Shelby was
also cited for having an open
container of alcohol and possession of
marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A
17-year-old Marysville male was cited for possession of drug
paraphernalia
after he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for driving
under suspension on
London Avenue Monday at 7:03 p.m.
Disorderly conduct charges were filed
against a 14-year-old male student
at the Marysville Middle School on
Wednesday and had to be removed from
school. A construction company on
Kentucky Circle and Stallion Way
reported the unauthorized dumping of trash
in their company bins Monday at 8:30 a.m.

According to police reports:
Friday at 6:15 a.m. a resident in the 500 block
of Quail Hollow Drive
reported the theft of golf clubs, a stereo and CDs from
a locked car. A
neighbor reportedly witnessed the theft in progress at 3:20
a.m., but
chose not to call police. Two suspects were observed wearing
hooded
sweatshirts and driving a light colored car.
A resident in the 1300
block of Valley Drive reported the theft of
stereo equipment from a locked
car that happened sometime over Thursday
night. In a similar theft, a stereo
and CDs were stolen out of a locked
car parked in the 1300 block of Valley
Drive Thursday night.
The memory chip was stolen out of a laptop computer
sometime in the past
week from a residence in the 700 block of Meadows
Drive.
Tires were cut on a car parked in the 1000 block of Charles
Lane Saturday.
Robert Adams, 34, of 704 E. Fourth St. and Duke W. R. Jobe,
23, of 220
E. Greenwood Blvd. were charged with disorderly conduct after
fighting
in the 100 block of North Main Street Saturday at 1:34 a.m.
A
resident in the 200 block of Redwood Drive reported possible child
abuse
Saturday at 8:30 p.m. The report is under investigation.
The headlight on a
car was reported damaged Sunday at 9:50 a.m. in the
600 block of Meadows
Drive.
Brian E. Mulvaine, 29, of 135 Aspen Drive was arrested in the 100
block
of North Main Street for criminal damaging after breaking a mirror on
a
car during a dispute Sunday at 2:15 a.m.
Donald J. Adams, 26, of 109 1/2
S. Main St. was arrested on disorderly
conduct charges after an altercation
at his home Sunday at 3:25 a.m.
The Union County Sheriff's Office reported
that a Jeep Cherokee was
taken without permission. Marysville Police located
the car on Route 31
at U.S. 33 and as a result, Ryan C. Miller, 20, of 18961
Route 245 was
cited for driving without a license and turned over to
deputies. The car
is owned by Miller's mother, who lives in the 18000 block
of Route 245.
According to sheriff's reports:
Sheriff's investigators are
asking Union County residents to be aware of
numerous prank calls being made
throughout the area. On Friday at 3:30
p.m. it was reported that more than a
dozen calls were made to
residences in which a male caller says, "Sorry,
wrong number" and then
hangs up. Some residents have received the same call
several times.
Deputies believe the calls could be related to burglary
attempts, as
suspects call to see if a resident is home. If anyone receives
these
calls, they are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 645-4100
(ext. 4443).
Thursday night a resident in the 11000 block of Tawa Road
reported that
a person came onto the front porch and stole cigarettes and a
bike.
A business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway reported Friday
at
2:29 p.m. that someone came inside the store and took cash from
a
register. There is a possible juvenile suspect and the case
remains under investigation.
Outside lights were damaged at a residence on
Ross Avenue in Jerome
Township Saturday at 11:09 a.m.
Numerous items, such
as hand tools, power tools, liquor and a riding
lawn mower were stolen from a
pole barn at a property in the 18000 block
of Easton Road Saturday at 8:54
a.m. The mower was later located in a nearby field.
A 15-year-old
Marysville male was cited for possession of marijuana and
possession of drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on North Maple
Street Saturday at 11:46
p.m. He was a passenger in a car, whose driver
ran a red light and possibly
was attempting to evade police by going
into nearby suburban
neighborhoods.
David W. Swartz, 33, of Columbus was charged with operating a
vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes Sunday at 12:45
a.m.
after a traffic stop on Northwest Parkway.
David Walker, 40, of
Richwood was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside
of marked lanes after a traffic stop on
Route 4 at Tawa Road Sunday at 3:12
a.m.
9/22/06
According to police reports:
A 15-year-old male in the 200 block of
Bridgewater Drive was charged
with unruliness after ongoing problems with his
parents Thursday at 5:40 p.m.
A 14-week old female boxer puppy was
reported stolen from a residence in
the 400 block of East Sixth Street
Thursday at 8:58 p.m. The dog had
been tied outside the residence and both
the chain and the ground stake were also taken.
Lucas N. Bender, 25, of
1522 Lacosta Drive was arrested at a business in
the 100 block of East Fifth
Street Thursday at 7:28 p.m. on an
outstanding warrant from Marysville
Municipal Court.
A restaurant in the 16000 block of Square Drive was broken
into today at
4:53 a.m. Suspects gained entry through the back door.
A car
parked in the 500 block of Quail Hollow Drive was broken into
today at 6:14
a.m. It was unknown if anything was stolen.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Two reports of identification theft were taken from residents in
Union
County. Thursday at 6:04 a.m. a resident in the 14000 block of Route
739
notified deputies that his Visa card had been used to make a purchase
by
someone in New Jersey.
A resident in the 12000 block of Route 4
reported at 3:52 p.m. Thursday
that his credit card was used to make several
purchases in Chicago.
According to OSP reports:
Only minor injuries were
reported from a two-car crash in Liberty
Township Thursday.
Driver Joseph
D. Kibbey, 20, of Raymond was heading north on Coder
Holloway Road at Hoover
Bault Road when driver Jerry L. Rea, 64, of
Raymond pulled out of a private
drive and into his path. Kibbey struck
Rea's car and both continued off the
road. Neither victim suffered
serious injuries and were not transported. Rea
was cited for failure to
yield from a private drive.
9/21/06
According to police reports:
Steven D. Risner, 38, 680 Allenby Drive was
arrested Wednesday at 9:47
a.m. and charged with domestic violence after a
physical altercation with his wife.
The coin compartment of a commercial
washer was pried open and money
stolen from inside, at a laundromat business
in the 500 block of Allenby
Drive sometime between Monday and
Wednesday.
Stacey L. Chenault, 31, of Mechanicsburg was arrested Wednesday at
9:35
p.m. on an outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal
Court.
According to sheriff's reports:
The Union County Department of
Human Services was called to take over a
case involving a husband and wife
having a custody dispute and an
argument about alleged drug abuse Wednesday
at 7:09 p.m. on Catherine
Street in Magnetic Springs. Parents and DHS agreed
the 5-month-old child
would be left with the grandmother.
A 12-year-old
female at home alone reported a burglary or criminal
trespassing incident at
her home in the 21000 block of Wolford Maskill
Road Wednesday at 9:01 p.m.
She said a van pulled into the drive and a
man knocked on the front door,
then entered the house and went to the
kitchen. The man ended up leaving and
coming back to the residence several times.

According to police reports:
A 13-year-old female in the 400 block of Bent
Tree Drive was charged
with truancy Tuesday at 9:04 a.m. after she refused to
go to school. It
has reportedly become an ongoing problem.
A resident in
the 200 block of Redwood Drive reported trying to cash a
check from Canada,
which ended up being a fraud Tuesday at 1:32 p.m.
Tuesday at 1:51 p.m. a
business in the 100 block of North Cherry Street
$22.25 worth of gasoline was
denied on a credit card purchase and the
customer drove off without
paying.
A small hole was found cut into a screen to the front window of
a
residence in the 200 block of Windsor Court Tuesday at 5:28 p.m.
Two
unauthorized on-line purchases were made on a resident's credit card
sometime
on Sept. 9.
According to sheriff's reports:
A car was vandalized in the
18000 block of Bear Swamp Road sometime
between Saturday and Tuesday. A rock
was thrown threw the windshield.
Possible criminal trespassing charges are
pending against a 26-year-old
male who was on property in the 19000 block of
Belleville Road Tuesday
at 5:01 p.m. The man was allegedly in violation of a
temporary protection order.
Deputies are investigating the registration of
a car that illegally
passed a school bus Tuesday at 5:33 p.m. in the 24000
block of Route 161.
A resident in the 29000 block of Route 739 reported
Tuesday that
sometime over the past several months numerous criminal
damaging
incidents occurred to his car, such as a slashed tire and
scratched door.

One person was injured in a
crash in Plain City Tuesday at 3:10 p.m.
Jayna Pickett, 20, of Plain City
was headed west on Lafayette Plain
City Road when she lost control and went
off the right side of the road,
overcorrected and then went off the left side
of the road. She struck a
ditch and overturned the vehicle. Pickett was
injured in the crash and
was transported by Pleasant Valley medics to
Memorial Hospital of Union
County. She was cited for failure to control her
vehicle.

According to police reports:
Michael A. Warner, 27, of 634 Allenby Drive was
arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop near his
home Monday at 10:10 p.m.
A hotel in the 16000 block of Allenby Drive
reported a person damaged a
desk drawer Monday at 11:41 a.m.
CDs and other
audio equipment were stolen from an unlocked car parked in
the 700 block of
Meadows Drive Sunday night or Monday morning.
A bike was stolen from outside
a bar in the 200 block of North Plum
Street Monday at 2:04 p.m.
Money and
other items were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 400
block of
Terrace Drive Monday at 2:13 p.m.
Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked
detached garage in the 600 block
of West Sixth Street, as reported to police
Monday at 2:30 p.m.
Barbara R. Patton, 29, of 1415 Firethorn Court was cited
for having
animals running at large Monday at 8:19 p.m. after her dog was
not confined.
A resident in the 100 block of Elwood Drive reported a
marble broke a
window at the home Monday at 9:30 p.m.

sheriff's reports:
Dale Pyles, 46, of Milford Center was cited for criminal
trespassing
Monday at 3:57 p.m. He went into a home on South Mill Street in
Milford
Center, after repeatedly being told not to.
No charges were filed
after a resident found unknown suspects toilet
papered the home and dumped
numerous items such as forks, syrup and food
on the property Saturday night
in the 9000 block of New California Drive.
An unruly 7-year-old male was
sent for evaluation at Ohio State
University Hospital Sunday at 10:16 p.m.
after damaging his bedroom and
the hallway in the 7000 block of Scioto Road.
The male had refused to go
to bed when his foster parents asked him to and he
began damaging the house.

A possible case of rape was reported after a
21-year-old female claimed
she was sexually assaulted by a known male in the
700 block of Milford
Avenue Friday at 9:45 p.m. The crimes allegedly occurred
at other times
in various locations within Marysville.

was stolen from a grocery store in the 700 block of
Milford Avenue Friday at
10:03 a.m.
A tire was reported slashed overnight Thursday or Friday morning
in the
1000 block of Bay Laurel Drive.
A resident in the Mill Valley area
reported her 12-year-old son was the
victim of assault by schoolmates Friday
at 5:15 p.m.
A riding lawnmower was discovered missing from a garage in the
700 block
of West Ninth Street Friday at 8 p.m.
A license plate was stolen
from a car parked in the 400 block of West
Third Street Friday night.
Yard
ornaments were reported destroyed at a residence in the 300 block
of West
Ninth Street Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Jason Shirk, 26, of Galloway was arrested
on an outstanding warrant
Saturday at 7:58 p.m.
A car was reported damaged
while parked outside of a bar in the downtown
Marysville area Saturday at
9:50 p.m.
A car was reported damaged while parked at a party in the 15000
block of
Industrial Parkway Saturday at 10:13 p.m.
Sunday at 1:25 a.m., a
patron of a bar in downtown Marysville reported
being assaulted and was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County for care.
An overdose of
medication was reported in the 300 block of Shellbark
Drive Sunday at 1:39
a.m. The female victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Sunday at
2:24 a.m., a resident reported losing a bag with personal
items inside while
shopping at a store in the 500 block of Coleman's
Crossing. The bag was later
located.
Forrest R. Hanson, 46, of 504 E. Fifth St. and Amber L. Nelson, 21,
of
123 Taylor Ave. were charged with disorderly conduct after a
resident
reported they were causing a disturbance in the 500 block of East
Fifth
Street Sunday at 7:35 p.m.
Reed Chalmers, 33, of 151 Riverwind Drive
was arrested for domestic
violence and obstructing official police business
after an incident in
the 1000 block of Village Drive Sunday at 8:30
p.m.
Thomas E. Gordon, 32, of 236 Cypress Drive was charged with
disorderly
conduct after an incident in the area of Cypress Drive Sunday at
8:36 p.m.
The theft of medication and fireworks was reported today at 1:30
a.m.
from a resident in the 800 block of Collins Avenue.

sheriff's reports:
The electrical and sewage hook ups were damaged at a
church in the 17000
block of Echo Drive sometime between Sept. 11 and
Thursday.
Keys were stolen from the ignition of a car parked in the 32000
block of
Carter Road Sunday.
Domestic violence charges are pending against
a 13-year-old male for
striking his sister and fighting with other family
members Saturday in
the 10000 block of Ketch Road. The male was transported
to the Central
Ohio Youth Center.
Wires to a cable TV satellite dish were
reportedly cut, as told to
police Sunday from the 18000 block of Front Street
in Broadway.
Miscellaneous items of jewelry were discovered possibly stolen
after the
items were found in the bedroom of a 16-year-old male in the 11000
block
of Tawa Road Sunday.
Jodi Cheek, 47, of 426 W. Seventh St. was
charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated and failure to stay in marked
lanes Saturday at
10:36 p.m. An officer reported having to avoid a collision
with another
driver going the wrong way on the road. Cheek was pulled over on
West Seventh Street.
A medical device was reported stolen out of a bag in
the 23000 block of
Northwest Parkway on Sept. 11.
A 17-year-old female was
cited for unruliness and domestic violence
after throwing a plate at her
father and cutting his face with her nails
Sunday at 6:17 p.m. in the 13000
block of Route 47.
Randy Charles Nayabb, 40, 7253 Weldon Road was charged
with domestic
violence after attempting to run over a female with a vehicle
during a
fight. Nayabb then allegedly threw her to the ground and caused
other injuries Saturday.
Jerry McClain, 53, of 11659 Route 736 was charged
with operating a
vehicle intoxicated, driving with one headlight out and high
blood
alcohol concentration after a traffic stop Friday at 11:35 p.m. on
Fladt
Road at Industrial Parkway.
A home in the 7000 block of Ross Avenue
was egged and toilet papered Saturday.
Several people were charged after a
traffic stop on Davis Road Sunday at
1 a.m. Driver Anthony Gansheimer, 20, of
East Liberty was cited for
failure to use a turn signal, possession of
marijuana, operating a
vehicle intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia
and possession of
alcohol. Passengers Keith D. McCoy, 20, of 31727 Hamilton
Road was cited
for underage consumption of alcohol; Justin Caldwell, 19, of
33239 Route
31 was cited for underage consumption of alcohol and a
17-year-old
female was cited for violating curfew.

reports:
One person was injured in a two-car crash Saturday at 7:36 a.m. in
Dover
Township. Ruby A. Dhume, 55, of 12875 Black Road was heading south
on
White Stone Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign to U.S. 36
and
struck driver David McNeal, 30, of Columbus as he went east on U.S.
36.
McNeal was transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County
by Marysville medics.
Lana M. Lerch, 19, of Columbus was charged with
operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic stop on Sunday at 2:12 a.m.
on Delaware
Avenue at U.S. 33. Lerch was headed west on Delaware Avenue when
she
lost control and drove off the left side of the road, struck a
traffic
sign and a concrete drain pipe and then went off the right side of
the road.

According to police reports:
A business in the 500 block of North Main Street
was discovered by
officers to have been forcibly entered today at 2:13 a.m.
The front
window was broken out and five handguns were stolen.
A purse,
containing personal ID and credit cards, was stolen from an
unlocked car in
the 100 block of North Court Street Thursday at 6:27 p.m.
An employee
reported being struck in the mouth by a co-worker while at a
business in the
900 block of Columbus Avenue Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
A resident in the 700
block of West Ninth Street reported that the
passenger side window of her car
was broken out and her purse was
stolen, which she reported Thursday at 7:33
a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
A computer, valued at $500, was
stolen from a car in the 11000 block of
Darby Boulevard West Wednesday night
or Thursday morning.
That same night a $150 radio was stolen from a car in
the 10000 block of that road.
An unknown person entered a home in the
27000 block of Route 37 and
stole firearms from inside sometime between
Thursday at Sept. 2.
Sometime over Wednesday night or Thursday morning a
purse was stolen
from a car parked in the 10000 block of Route 736. The
contents of the
purse were located nearby on the ground, although cash had
been stolen.

According to police reports:
Pamela K. Cook, 44, of Richwood was charged with
operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic stop on Delaware Avenue
Wednesday at 10:07 p.m.
A 1994 Honda Accord was reported stolen at 6:30
a.m. from McAuliffe
Place sometime over Tuesday night. The vehicle was later
recovered on Linden Street.

Marion was charged with operating a vehicle
intoxicated, driving under
suspension and failure to stop at a stop sign
after a traffic stop on Route
37, north of Richwood Tuesday at 9:41 p.m.
Vandalism was reported
Wednesday at 6:22 a.m. after an unknown person
tipped over a 1988 Honda Gold
Wing motorcycle Tuesday night in the
parking lot in the 15000 block of
Valleyview Drive.
Miscellaneous car parts, valued at $1,500, were stolen from
a skid
loader at a business in the 8000 block of Industrial Parkway
on
Wednesday at 1:48 p.m.
A cell phone was reported stolen out of a
Fairbanks High School
student's locker Wednesday at 3:55 p.m.
A laptop
computer, valued at $1,100, was reported stolen from a
briefcase Wednesday at
4:48 p.m. in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway.
Two audio visual electronic
items were stolen from a residence in the
18000 block of Allen Center Road
out of a burglary that occurred over
Wednesday between 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. The
equipment is valued at $4,500.

According to sheriff's reports:
An anonymous call led to the investigation of
a 49-year-old male
registered sex offender from Nebraska, who possibly may be
visiting or
residing in Marysville.
Public Information Officer, Chris
Skinner from the Union County
Sheriff's Office reported this morning that
there is no clear
information that the suspect is even in town. The anonymous
call was
made on Sept. 6 at 4:25 p.m.
Skinner said investigators have been
looking into the call for the past
several days and contacted authorities in
Nebraska. They learned the man
has left that town and notified the
authorities he was going to Marysville.
"He has not reported a change of
address," he said. "They know about
him. But we don't know if he is residing
in Ohio. There is no
verification that he's even here and living in
Marysville."
Skinner said the reports remains under investigation.
The
Union County Department of Human Services reported a possible sex
offense
Monday at 3:11 p.m. concerning a 12-year-old and an 8-year-old
brother and
sister who live on Lunda Road in West Mansfield. A counselor
has been
contacted and the report is under investigation.
A School Resource Officer at
Fairbanks High School reported $30 was
stolen from a student's locker on
Friday.
A female victim in the 17000 block of Allen Center Road reported
Tuesday
at 12:03 p.m. that a total of $662.69 was stolen from her account
over
the Internet in three separate credit card charges.

According to police reports:
More burglaries reportedly occurred in
Marysville in the 300 block of
Terrace Court. Sometime overnight Monday, the
screens were cut to
windows on three additional homes. Suspects gained entry
into two of the
houses, stealing DVD players and cash from a purse. Entry was
not made
to the third home.
Bryan D. Ott, 32, of Columbus and Bill R.
Williams, 24, of Columbus were
both arrested and charged with possession of
drugs after a traffic stop
at U.S. 33 at U.S. 36 Monday at 9:37 p.m. A
16-year-old male passenger
was also charged with drug abuse. Marijuana and
what appears to be crack
cocaine were found inside.
A cell phone and ID
were stolen from a car parked in the 200 block of
Residence Drive Monday at
3:34 p.m.
No charges were filed against a 13-year-old female who was
caught
stealing a bottle of root beer from a business in the 300 block of
West Fifth Street.
The Union County Department of Human Services is now
investigating two
brothers, ages 12 and 15 years, who had allegedly been
smoking marijuana
in the 200 block of East Tenth Street sometime in the past
week.

deposited an empty envelope
and withdrew $800. The same person also
deposited a $500 personal check
written to him and then withdrew the
money. A stop payment was placed on the
check. The thefts reportedly
occurred sometime between July 29 and July
31.

and charged with driving under suspension and drug abuse following

Bryan Wilson, 40, of East Liberty was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, super concentration of blood alcohol levels and failure
to
control his vehicle after he reportedly drove into a street sign
and
kept going Sunday at 12:18 a.m. on Route 37 outside of Magnetic
Springs.
A deputy saw Wilson changing a tire on the side o the road and
then
discovered the front end damage caused by striking the sign.
Joseph
Ferguson, 47, of 454 Allenby Drive was arrested for possession of
drug
paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after an officer found him
lying in the
middle of the westbound lane on Delaware Avenue Sunday at 3:06 a.m.
Mary
Bond, 23, of 231 1/2 Ash St. was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, high blood alcohol levels and having an open container
of
alcohol Sunday at 2:29 a.m. She was found asleep behind the wheel of
her
car off of U.S. 33 going west. She had run out of gas.
A juvenile male
reported Sunday at 11:20 a.m. that a known suspect had
kicked the side of his
car and broke off a side mirror after an argument
in the 16000 block of
Martin Welch Road. No charges have been filed at
this time, pending an
investigation.
A 16-year-old Unionville Center male reported he was assaulted
by a
17-year-old Unionville Center male, who punched him several times
and
threatened his life with a knife Sunday at 8:13 p.m. on main Street
in
Unionville Center. Deputies found the suspect, who denied having a
knife
and no knife was located. Witnesses also did not confirm seeing a
knife.
The assault remains under investigation.
Trespassing charges are
pending against a 17-year-old female, a
20-year-old male and an 18-year-old
male, all from Richwood, after they
went to a home in the 32000 block of
Carter Road Sunday at 5:48 p.m. and
took a 4-wheel ATV owned by a friend. The
suspects had been told
repeatedly to stay away from the property.
A
resident in the 16000 block of Church Street in New Dover reported
that her
15-year-old daughter is missing. The mother had dropped her
daughter off with
a friend to go to Wyandot Lake in Delaware at 2 p.m.
Sunday. At 8:45 p.m.
that day the mother learned that her daughter had
jumped from her friend's
car at 4:30 p.m. and ran off.

unauthorized use of a motor
vehicle Sept. 1 at 6:18 p.m. in the 13000 block
of Bell Road. A business
owner had his employee vehicle parked at his home
and left the car while
he was away. His wife's vehicle reported broken down
and she used the
company vehicle out of emergency. She then reportedly
crashed the car.
A deer hunting tree platform was stolen from property in the
13000 block
of Route 347 Thursday. The platform was valued at $200.
Carey
Craft, 32, of Richwood was arrested on one count of domestic
violence
Thursday at 6:52 p.m. in the 27000 block of Ford Reed Road.
Craft reported
struck his wife in the mouth with a plastic cup during an
argument. The cup
caused her mouth to bleed and swell.
Unruliness charges are pending against a
16-year-old male after a
dispute with his father Thursday at 11:31 p.m. in
the 16000 block of
Martin Welsh Road.
Corey Hoover, 21, of Delaware was
arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated today at 2:49 a.m. on Main
Street in Magnetic Springs.
Officers responded to a complaint of an unruly
13-year-old female Monday
in the 13000 block of Route 347 at 10:13 p.m. She
was expected to be
with a specific person at the Richwood Fair and was not at
her pickup.
The Richwood Police Department was notified and she was later
found at a
Richwood residence.
Harassing telephone and text messages was
received Tuesday from noon to

A knife was reported missing from a tool box in the 7000

Saturday at 2 p.m. on Route 31 at Mill Road sent

Jared D. Krantz, 20, 950 McAuliffe Place, was cited for failure to
yield
right of way when turning left. The Krantz vehicle was northbound
on
Route 31 attempting to turn left onto Mill Road while a vehicle
driven
by Gerald W. Blanchard, 59, of Okemos, Mich., was southeastbound
on Route 31.
Oashia Y. Cross, 19, of 1407 Cinnamon Drive, was stopped at
the Mill
Road traffic light waiting to turn right onto Route 31. Krantz
failed to
yield to oncoming traffic and struck the Blanchard vehicle with
the
impact of the accident forcing the Krantz vehicle into the
Cross vehicle.
Dennis W. Nickson, 51, of Richwood and three passengers
were transported
by coworkers to Memorial Hospital following a Friday
accident on Route
37 at 10:10 p.m. Nickson was southbound when an
unidentified northbound
vehicle went left of center and struck his vehicle.
Also transported to
UCMH was Michelle A. Sessler, 37, of Richwood and Billie
Jordan, 56, of Richwood.

According to sheriff's reports:
An verbal dispute resulted into a physical
assault that sent a male
victim to Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Officers are receiving
conflicting reports on what actually happened Saturday
at 3:42 p.m. in
the 28000 block of Route 739. The victim stated that he was
trying to
get payment for work completed when a verbal argument led to him
being
punched, kicked, knocked to the ground and numerous injuries. The
other
party to the incident said the victim came angry and was the first
to
become physical. The matter has been sent to the prosecutor.
A man,
living in the 28000 block of Cobb Harriman Road, was reported
missing
Saturday at 4:12 p.m. He was last seen Thursday and had taken a
fire arm with
him. The man returned home Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
A debit card was removed from
a kitchen table located on Main Street in
Unionville Center Saturday at 8:56
p.m. Three withdrawals of $600 each
were discovered. The matter is under
investigation.
Officers responded to a possible suicide attempt in the 31000
block of
Route 31 Sunday at 1:09 p.m. The victim was transported and admitted
to
Hardin Memorial Hospital.
A suspicious person was reported in the 9000
block of Long Road Sunday at 7:53 p.m.
A 16 year-old male was reported
missing Monday, shortly after midnight
in the 11000 block of Tawa Road. The
juvenile had been dropped off at a
girlfriend's home and was to return home
by 9 p.m. He was believed to be
with unapproved adults. The youth returned
while officers were still at
the home. Charges are pending.
A possible
vandalism was reported Sunday at 12:29 p.m. in the 18000
block of Cunningham
Arbella Road. A home under construction had numerous
food items scattered in
the interior.
A report of possible identify fraud was filed after a call to
Rose
Street in Magnetic Springs Tuesday at 10:27 a.m. The victim said she
was
denied use of a check from a new checking account. A store clerk
said
they had received numerous bad checks on the account in the
victim's name.
Phone harassment was reported Tuesday at 12:59 p.m. in the
29000 block
of Lemasters Road.
A wallet was removed from an unlocked
vehicle Tuesday at 3:56 p.m. The
vehicle was on Short Street in Milford
Center and the theft occurred
sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m.
Monday.
Officers assisted medics Tuesday at 8:22 p.m. in the 22000 block
of
Treaty Line Road for a 41 year-old unresponsive female.
A burglary
occurred today at 2:05 a.m. in the 31000 block of Winnemad
Road. Items
missing were valued at $200 and included U.S. coins and a truck
stereo.

According to sheriff's
reports:
Charges are pending against a 17 year-old Dublin female who is
believed
to have impersonated a police officer. She reportedly contacted
a
business in 24000 Honda Parkway requesting information on an
employee
and identifying herself as an employee of the Marysville
Police
Department. The individual is believed to have had an altercation
with
the business' employee.
Officers responded twice over the weekend to
problems with a 16 year-old
male. The first call came Friday at 12:02 p.m. in
the 17000 block of
Allen Center Road. The male had been dropped off at at
relative's home
the day before at 2 p.m. and was to be picked up at 5 p.m.
Throughout
the day, the parents received cell phone calls that said he was at
other

Jeremiah Scoville, 29, of 23188 Route 4, was arrested for
using a weapon
while intoxicated Friday at 10:14 p.m. in the 23000 block of
Route 4.
Sarah Wiley, 24, of Richwood was charged with OVI and speeding after

traffic stop Saturday at 2:48 a.m. on Route 38.

concentration and failure to stay in
marked lanes following a traffic
stop on Route 4 near Pharisburg Saturday at
3:06 a.m.
Troy Peterson, 39, of 11480 U.S. 36, lot 54, was charged with one
count
of failure to confine a canine Saturday at 6:04 p.m. in the 11000
block of U.S. 36.
Nathan Fyffe, 26, of 23580 Middleburg Plain City Road,
was charged with
speeding, failure to drive in marked lanes, OVI and super
concentration
following a traffic stop on Middleburg Plain City Road near
Lincoln Road

Brian Dodane, 28, of Columbus was charged
with OVI, speeding and failure
to stay in marked lanes Sunday at 2:44 a.m.
following a traffic stop on
U.S. 33 near Route 42.
Tammy Rice, 30, of
Mechanicsburg was charged with no tail light, failure
to drive in marked
lanes and OVI Sunday at 2:54 a.m. following a traffic
stop on U.S. 33 west of
Marysville.
Chad Twining, 31, of Cridersville was charged with OVI and
failure to
drive in marked lanes Sunday at 4:05 a.m. following a traffic stop
on
U.S. 33 near Route 31.

An employee of a business in the 900 block of
London Avenue reported his
wallet was either lost or stolen Thursday at 8:28
a.m.
A washer and dryer were reported stolen from an apartment in the

block of West Ninth Street Thursday at 10:12 a.m.
CDs and cash were
taken from a car parked on West Fifth Street, as
reported to police Thursday
at 11:53 a.m.
Three males reportedly stole a bottle of whiskey from the
Community
Markets on Milford Avenue Thursday at 3:56 p.m.
A bike was
stolen off of a porch in the 500 block of West Third Street
Thursday at 8
p.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
An unresponsive 15-year-old female
was reported to be on Franklin Street
in Richwood Monday at 6:16 p.m. The
girl was transported by medics for
care. It was reported she suffered an
accidental drug overdose from
prescription pain medication. She was then
transported to Children's
Hospital in Columbus for further care.
A car was
reported stolen Wednesday night or during the day on Thursday
from the 31000
block of Route 37.
CDs and floormats were reported stolen from a car parked
in the 16000
block of County Home Road Thursday at 10:20 p.m.
