2/28/07
According to police reports:
A resident in the 400 block of East Seventh
Street reported someone
broke into his car and stole his wife's purse and
wallet Monday night or
early Tuesday morning.
Burglary was reported after
a resident in the 700 block of East Sixth
Street notified police his door had
been forced open and containers of
change and a video tape were stolen
sometime on Tuesday.
Roger D. Wilkins, 47, of Wright City, Mo., was arrested
for driving with
an open container of alcohol after a traffic stop on Watkins
Road today at 1:14 a.m.
Christopher Chappie, 42, of St. Peters, Mo., was
arrested for operating
a vehicle while intoxicated and speeding after a
traffic stop on Watkins
Road today at 1:14 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Deputies transported an extremely intoxicated 24-year-old woman
for
medical care, after she passed out while being interrogated Tuesday
at
5:16 a.m. on South Mill Street in Milford Center. No charges were
filed.
Timothy Snyder, 43, of Grandview was charged with driving
under
suspension, driving left of center, possession of marijuana and
drug
paraphernalia Tuesday at 2:11 p.m. after a traffic stop on Highland
Croy
Road at Mitchell Dewitt Road.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 500 block of Dove Street
reported Monday at 9:52 a.m.
that his car tires had been slashed.
A woman
reported Monday at 6 p.m. that her purse was stolen from a cart
at Wal-Mart
Supercenter.
Vandalism was reported Monday at 6:48 p.m. after a large amount
of
debris was found behind the buildings at East Pointe Plaza.
Charges are
pending against a 12-year-old male for possession of alcohol
underage at the
Marysville Middle School Monday at around noon.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Monday at 5:29 p.m. a resident in the 33000 block of Dutton Love
Road
reported that his 13-year-old step-son had left through a window and
run
away. The male was later found at a family friend's home.

According to police reports:
No foul play was reported in a death
investigation, after a 58-year-old
woman was found deceased in her parked car
on East Sixth Street Sunday
at 1:41 p.m. It is suspected that she died of
natural causes. The death
remains under investigation by the Union County
Coroner.
Seven juvenile males were found inside a business in the 16000 block
of
Square Drive today at 2:32 a.m. The trespassing report noted that
they
were playing video games without permission. No charges have been
filed
at this time.
James L. Elkins, 43, of 548 N. Main St. apt. 73 was
arrested Sunday at 2
p.m. on an outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal
Court.
A 17-year-old male was charged with assault after a fight with
a
15-year-old male at the Marysville High School Friday at 9:28 a.m.
In
another altercation at Marysville High School, no charges were filed
after a
fight between two 16-year-old males Friday at 11:40 a.m.
Burglary was
reported Friday at 12:15 p.m. after someone entered through
an unlocked back
door in a house in the 500 block of West Fifth Street
and stole $20 in change
from the living room and several bedrooms.
A student at Marysville High
School reported Friday at 12:15 p.m. that
someone stole his Ipod from his
coat pocket.
A business in the 400 block of West Fifth Street reported Friday
at 2:16
p.m. that a person had been picking up prescriptions that were
not
written for him. The person may have altered one of his prescriptions
as well.
Friday at 4:01 p.m. a resident on Red Pine Drive reported that
his
girlfriend and her sister stole three types of prescription
medication
from his house while he was at work.
Winona V. Woods, 34, of
Richwood was arrested on an outstanding warrant
from the Union County
Sheriff's Office Friday at 4:47 p.m.
A resident reported at 12:03 a.m.
Saturday that he had been assaulted by
another male in the 400 block of
Morning Star Drive. Police are
investigating the report.
The front window
was reported to be broken out at a business in the 100
block of West Fifth
Street Sunday at 3:18 a.m.
A woman reported Saturday at 9:03 a.m. that she
had been struck on the
arm by her ex-husband during a child exchange on East
Sixth Street. As a
result, Daniel N. Balsiger, 31, of Sunbury was cited for
assault.
Tyler E. Rausch, 43, whose address is unknown was arrested Sunday
at
1:39 a.m. on an outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal
Court
after he was found on Chestnut Street.
According to sheriff's
reports:
A 13-month old female is expected to recover after a dog bit her
head.
Saturday at 4:59 p.m. a woman notified a deputy in the parking lot
of
Navin Elementary School on County Home Road that her child had
been bitten.
The child was inside the vehicle at the time and bleeding
from wounds to
her head. Deputies performed first aid, and were able to stop
the
bleeding until medics arrived. The child was taken to Memorial
Hospital
of Union County for Care, where she was treated and later
released.
The dog had reportedly grabbed her by the head with its mouth,
causing
puncture wounds on the forehead and on the back of her head. The
wounds
did not pierce the skull.
The Union County Health Department is
expected to quarantine the dog and
check into the incident. According to
witness reports, the child was
trying to give the dog a kiss, when the dog
bit her.
Tyler Tingley, 29, of 706 Watkins Glen Boulevard was arrested
Saturday
at 3:40 a.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated and failure to stay
in
marked lanes after a traffic stop on Watkins Road.
Justin Caldwell, 20,
of West Mansfield was charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated, high
blood alcohol concentration levels, failure to
control and
possession/consumption of alcohol while underage. Caldwell
crashed his car on
Drake Skidmore Road at Benedict Road Saturday at 3:47
a.m. While treating him
for possible injuries it was discovered he had
been drinking and
driving.
Saturday at 1:24 p.m. deputies responded to the 17000 block
of
Whitestone Road for an argument between a man and his sister-in-law.
She
claims he assaulted her and he claims she was trespassing.
Both
potential charges have been referred to the Union County
prosecutor's
office for review.
Douglas Godwin, 57, of 19325 Whitestone
Road was arrested for assault
after allegedly picking up his wife and
throwing her, which caused her
to injure her head Saturday at 5:46 p.m. at
their home.
A brown safe, containing papers, was found near a bridge
on
Middleburg-Plain City Road Sunday at 10:28 a.m.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 1500 block of Carmel Drive
reported that someone
forced entry into his home and stole several items,
$800 in cash and
$750 in jewelry and watches Thursday.
Burglary was
reported in the 700 block of West Seventh Street, after a

from inside a home Thursday afternoon.
A resident in the 200 block of
Bridgewater Drive reported that his
16-year-old son was unruly and involved
in a verbal argument, during
which the son spit on him Thursday at 7:09
p.m.
Assistance was given to the Union County Sheriff's Office, in which
the
police canine unit was alerted to drugs inside a vehicle during
a
traffic stop on U.S. 33 Thursday at 7:50 p.m.
The alleged sexual abuse
of an 8-year-old female, was reported by the
staff at Children's Hospital in
Columbus.

According to police reports:
Sabrina A. Perry, 26, of Columbus was arrested
today at 1:36 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving on the wrong
side of a divided
highway and driving left of center after a traffic stop on
Delaware
Avenue at U.S. 33.
An 11-year-old male was charged with assault
after a fight with two
males, ages 10 and 12, in the 500 block of North Main
Street Wednesday at 7:49 p.m.
A business in the 15000 block of U.S. 36
east reported theft of services
after an unknown person placed three tires
with rims and a broken
wheelbarrow in the dumpster Wednesday
afternoon.
Wednesday at 9:51 a.m. a business in the 400 block of South Oak
Street
reported that approximately 40 work checks had been duplicated
in
October and then were forged and cashed.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Isaiah Millington, 77, of Richwood was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, high blood alcohol concentration and driving outside
of
marked lanes after a traffic stop on Wednesday at 6:51 p.m. on Route
47,
east of Route 31.

According to police reports:
Burglary was reported in the 1500 block of
Saffron Drive after a home
was entered through an unlocked door and cash was
stolen from inside
Tuesday at around 3 p.m.
A cassette player was stolen
from a residence in the 500 block of
Buckeye Drive Tuesday.
Police
responded to the 400 block of Palm Drive after someone attempted
to kick in a
door, but did not gain entry Tuesday at around 9:30 a.m. A
canine officer was
sent, but the suspect was not found.
Gilbert T. Hazelwood, 52, of 393 Retreat
Lane was arrested for operating
a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under
suspension, and failure to control.
According to sheriff's reports:
The
report on a Tuesday rollover crash in Taylor Township was
released today.
Driver Matthew Senhert, 17, of 14601 Route 347 was headed
north on
McAdow Road at 3:14 p.m., and lost control in heavy snow at
the
intersection of Martin-Welch Road. The car went off the road, struck
an
electric line and rolled over on its side.
No injuries resulted in the
crash, although crews were on the scene
until around 6 p.m. dealing with
fallen power lines.
A resident on Main Street in Magnetic Springs reported
Monday at 4:09
p.m. that his ex-wife has been taking money from his account
for the
past several years. Charges of theft are pending prosecutor's
review.
A business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway reported Tuesday
at
3:21 p.m. that a customer has paid $6,231.10 in checks which
have bounced.
Michael Tosco, 27, of Richwood was arrested for domestic
violence after
he reportedly began throwing items at his sister and his niece
today at
2:45 a.m. in the 12000 block of Route 47.

According to police reports:
Emily Macey, 24, of 619 W. Eighth St. was
arrested today at 12 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated near her
home.
Monday at 7:48 a.m.. business employees reported three offices at
the
Windsor Manor on Windsor Drive were broken into and cash was
stolen.
According to sheriff's reports:
A man reported that when his
girlfriend left his home Friday at 9:24
a.m. in the 11000 block of U.S. 36
she took numerous items, including a
$200 handgun that did not belong to
her.
Ever since Feb. 13 someone has reportedly tried to transfer
large
amounts of money from a resident' bank account. Friday at 12:38 p.m.
the
victim, who lives in the 15000 block of Meyers Road, reported
the
attempted theft to deputies.
A woman recently took over as power of
attorney for an elderly relative
and discovered that a previous relative who
had power of attorney
removed $10,000 from the victim's account which was to
be used to cover
funeral expenses.
A resident in the 24000 block of
Perkins Road reported that a $500 white
Great Pyrenees dog had possibly been
stolen Saturday.
Patrick Franklin, 25, of 15615 Meadowbrook Drive was charged
with
disorderly conduct after he pulled out a knife during an argument with
a
woman in the 14000 block of Fels Boulevard Sunday at 5:35 a.m. He
then
tried to cut his wrist and locked himself in a bedroom. The woman
called
deputies, who arrived and ordered him out of the room. Franklin
suffered
only superficial wounds from the self-inflicted knife cut, but
was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County for a
mental evaluation.
A man who identified himself as David Tapia, 34, of
Columbus was
arrested Sunday at 1:51 a.m. for falsification, operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, having no operator's license and failure to control
his
vehicle. Deputies discovered a disabled car off the road on
the
westbound ramp to U.S. 33 at Post Road. The car was facing the
opposite
direction of traffic. As the deputy attempted to help the driver,
a
Hispanic male, he detected the odor of alcohol. Due to a
language
barrier, discussions with the man were difficult. It was discovered
that
identification on the man was false and law enforcement is
still
investigating to confirm the man's name.
A total of $500 was stolen
from the checking account of a victim who
lives in the 17000 block of
Boundary Road Monday at 1:55 p.m. The theft
was made by a transaction out of
California.
According to OSP reports:
Monday at 8:26 p.m. a semi truck
driver suffered minor injuries after
his vehicle rolled onto its side. Driver
Todd Penhorwood, 38, of Mt.
Victory was headed northeast down Route 739, when
he attempted to turn
southeast onto Johnson Road. He lost control on the ramp
turn and went
off the left side, as the truck turned onto its side on the
roadway.
Penhorwood was transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County
for care

Daniel J. Urban, 30, of 984 Coventry Place was
arrested Friday at 10:05
a.m. and charged with a weapons violation after he
produced a handgun
when confronted by police who were responding to a
domestic violence
report at his residence.
Michael T. Willet, 30, of 618
Allenby Drive was arrested on an
outstanding warrant from the Marysville
Municipal Court Friday at 10:21 a.m.
Brock A. Layne, 29, of 722 Meadows
Drive was arrested for domestic
violence after a fight with his 16-year-old
step-son Friday at 3:58 p.m.
A resident in the 100 block of Collingwood
Drive reported that 50 to 55
pills of her prescription medication were stolen
from her home sometime
between Feb. 10 and Friday.
Saturday at 2:03 a.m. a
white Ford Econoline van was stolen from the
18000 block of Boerger Road. The
van was later found on the same road
and was possibly abandoned after a
traffic crash. Police are
investigating the incident.
Jill Gates, 32, of
Plain City was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic
stop on Route 38 at Boerger Road. Canine
officer Khan alerted to the presence
of narcotics and Gates was then
charged with drug possession Saturday at 2:38
a.m.
A man reported that someone had used his credit card to make
purchases
in Corina, California Saturday.
Brenda Farmer, 41, of 221
Connolly St. was arrested on an outstanding
warrant from Marysville Municipal
Court Saturday at 5:47 p.m.
A 16-year-old female was cited for a juvenile
tobacco offense in the 900
block of West Fifth Street Sunday at 1:13
a.m.
Jeffrey H. Martinez, 21, of Vandalia was arrested on an
outstanding
warrant from the Logan County Sheriff's Office Sunday at 1:28
a.m.
A resident in the 600 block of Allenby Drive reported Sunday at
3:20
p.m. that his young daughter may have been touched inappropriately by
a
family member while at a residence in Massachusetts.
Sunday at 5:58 p.m.
a resident of Urbana reported that her prescription
medication was stolen
while at a business in the 16000 block of Square Drive.
Unauthorized use
of a motor vehicle charges are pending after a person
reported he gave a
female friend permission to use his car. As of Sunday
at 8:11 p.m. the person
had not returned the car at the agreed upon time.
Animal cruelty was
reported after a dog was discovered to be tied with
speaker cable to the
outside of a trailer in the 500 block of North main
Street Sunday at 8:28
p.m. The dog had no food, water or shelter.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 400 block of East Seventh
Street reported Thursday at
9:22 a.m. that child pornography was found on the
home computer. The
computer was turned over to police for
investigation.
Someone reportedly stole $50 in gasoline from a station in the
1300
block of West Fifth Street Thursday at 2:51 a.m.
Keith A.
Billingsley, 44, of 690 Milford Ave. apt. 18C, was arrested
Thursday at 8:03
p.m. on an outstanding warrant from Marysville
Municipal Court. He was also
found in possession of a pill bottle
containing several different types of
white pills and drug abuse charges are pending.
A resident in the 200
block of Cypress Drive reported Thursday at 4:51
p.m. that his 1995 green
Dodge Dakota truck had been stolen, possibly by
his roommate or a female
friend. The car was later found by the
Springfield Highway Patrol Post. The
roommate had taken the vehicle and
he was being held in the Clark County
jail.
According to sheriff's reports:
Some $4,012 in tools, a wallet and
more were stolen from inside a van
parked inside the garage of a home in the
25000 block of Lunda Road. The
breaking and entering report was filed
Thursday at 3:15 a.m.
Misuse of credit card was reported by a resident in the
21000 block of
Main Street in Richwood Thursday at 4:36 p.m. Some $2,200 had
been
charged to the card.
Johnny Bailey, 37, of 13134 Route 347, was
charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia and marijuana and driving under
suspension after a
traffic stop for speeding in Broadway Thursday at 7:17
p.m.
No charges have been filed yet against an intoxicated female who broke
a
window on east Catherine Street in Magnetic Springs Thursday at
11:22
p.m. The woman refused to leave a business, broke the window, which
cut
her and caused bleeding, then disappeared. She was later
found
underneath a pine tree in the back of the business and was
transported
by Northern Union County medics for care and
observation.

According to police reports:
John C Smith, 46, of 548 N. Main St. apt. 214,
was arrested and charged
with assault after allegedly choking his
girlfriend's 16-year-old son
Tuesday at 9:10 p.m.
An unknown person threw
a flower pot into the windshield of a mini van
parked in the 400 block of
Sycamore Street Wednesday at 3:51 p.m.
Joshua M. Durst, 19, of 178 Willow
Drive, was arrested and charged with
theft today at 1:54 a.m. Durst and
another male were pulling a snow
blower down the street, when police noticed
both suspects ran and Durst was caught.
According to sheriff's
reports:
James Martin, 36, of 11480 U.S. 36, lot 110, was charged with
vandalism
Wednesday at 2:39 p.m. He reportedly met with his ex-girlfriend in
the
21000 block of Main Street in Raymond. When an argument arose in
the
discussion, Martin reportedly floored his gas and drove into
her
vehicle, pushing it into the lanes of Route 347. The collision
caused
extensive damage.
Wednesday at 10:29 p.m. Jeremy Welch, 27, of 275
W. Fifth St. was
charged with obstructing official business. Deputies
received word of a
car being broken into in the 100 block of Ottawa Street in
Richwood.
Welch matched the description of the suspect, and then proceeded to
run
from deputies. A 30-yard foot pursuit followed and he was
arrested.
Charges for allegedly breaking into cars are under
investigation.

According to police reports:
A report of burglary was reported Tuesday at 8
a.m. in the 300 block of
Fernwood Court. An unknown suspect entered through
the unlocked garage
and kicked or rammed the door leading to the residence. A
cupful of
change was missing and one of the bedroom closets had been
searched.
The Shell-Burger King at 1301 W. Fifth St. reported a male wearing
a
scarf, cowboy hat and long black coat and driving in a white
SUV
purchased $32.03 in regular gas and left without paying Tuesday at
5:51 p.m.

David Crothers, 44, of 19635
Route 4 was charged with domestic violence
after allegedly assaulting his
wife, causing injuries to her face Tuesday at 11:12 p.m.
2/13/07
According to police reports:
Someone pried open the door to the female
restroom at McCarthy Park
Monday at 11:43 a.m. An investigation is
pending.
West Coast Video was broken into, the business reported Sunday at
11:11
a.m. Someone broke off the dead lock on the back door. The
manager
indicated nothing appeared to have been stolen.
Monday at 10:35
a.m. a false sexual offense report was filed after a
juvenile on Allenby
Drive told a school guidance counselor of a crime.
She later admitted was
made up.
According to sheriff's reports:
Deputies are investigating two
incidents of possibly drug possession
charges. Thursday at 10:25 p.m. a
traffic stop on Bethlehem-Claibourne
Road at Richwood resulted in a man with
two baggies of pills inside his
vehicle. He claimed the pills were
prescription and the claim is under investigation.
Then on Sunday at 1:32
a.m. deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 47 at
the Delaware County line for
two counts of driving under suspension.
Robert Bradley, 29, of Richwood was
cited, He was also carrying a pill
he claimed was for a headache. That claim
is currently under investigation.
Someone broke into a home in the 16000
block of Brookside Court Monday
at about 2 p.m. and stole sport memorabilia,
electronics and medication.

Joey A. Slone, 42, of London was arrested and
charged with operating a
vehicle while intoxicated and having an open
container of alcohol after
a traffic stop Sunday at 9:32 p.m. in the 100
block of North Main Street
Angel Eleyet, 23, of 652 Kenny Lane was
charged with assault after a
fight with her roommate Sunday at 8:33 p.m.
A
business in the 300 block of Mill Creek Drive reported that a woman
had
stashed two DVD players underneath her coat and left the store
Sunday at 6:30
p.m.
Joseph A. Ferguson, 47, of 454 Allenby Drive was arrested on
an
outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal Court Sunday at 5 p.m.
An
unknown person threw a spark plug into a vehicle window in the 300
block of
Springwood Lane Sunday at 12:20 p.m.
Michael J. Griffith, 47, of 507 Surrey
Lane was arrested and charged
with operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving
under suspension and a
seat belt violation after a traffic stop Sunday at
1:33 a.m. on Surrey
Lane at Wagon Wheel lane. Also found in the car was a
crack pipe and
what appeared to be crack cocaine.
Barton Beardsley, 38, of
610 Poplar St. was arrested and charged with
operating a vehicle intoxicated
after a traffic stop in the 600 block of
Poplar Street Saturday at 8:22
p.m.
Joseph M. Yruegas, 20, of 568 Meadows Drive was arrested on
an
outstanding warrant out of Madison County after a traffic stop
on
Delaware Avenue at U.S. 33 Saturday at 11:08 a.m.
A birth certificate
was reportedly found in a yard near the driveway of
a residence in the 400
block of Black Hawk Drive Saturday at 9:46 a.m.
A 16-year-old male was
arrested in the 100 block of East Sixth Street
Friday at 5:30 p.m. Reports
did not indicate what the male was charged with.
A report was filed Friday
at 3:17 p.m. after a 16-year-old female and a
15-year-old female were
involved in a fight while at the bus stop in the
500 block of Allenby
Drive.
The passenger side window of a car was shattered while parked in the
100
block of North Main Street Friday at 2:27 p.m. A leather purse and
a
checkbook were stolen from inside.
William F. Tarleton, 46, of 620
Milford Ave. was arrested Friday at 1:16
p.m. on an outstanding warrant from
Marysville Municipal Court.
Richard L. Jones, 39, of Springfield was arrested
Friday at 12:18 p.m.
on an outstanding warrant out of Marysville Municipal
Court.
Theft charges are pending against an employee of a business in the
700
block of Milcrest Drive after he admitted to stealing a cell phone
from
a resident and has since returned the phone.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Glendon L. Crawford, 42, of Columbus was arrested for driving under
a
child support suspension after a deputy felt his vehicle was out
of
place parked in the 14000 block of Route 38 Thursday at 11:16
a.m.
Crawford was in the area doing construction work. The deputy ran
the
serial number on a circular saw inside the car and discovered it
was
stolen out of Indiana. The possible theft is under
investigation.
Joshua E. O'Rielly, 34, of 18685 Cunningham Arbella Road was
arrested
for operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on Route
37
Thursday at 11:12 p.m.
A 16-year-old male was charged with underage
possession of alcohol after
he was observed smoking cigarettes in the parking
lot during a Fairbanks
basketball game Friday at 8:31 p.m. in the 11000 block
of Route 38.
An Internet scam was reported Saturday at 6 p.m. after a
resident in the
8300 block of Industrial Parkway said someone sent three
money orders
for an on-line sale and overpaid. They asked that the victim
cash the
checks and send the remaining money back. The money orders turned
out to
be fraudulent.
Sam D. Smith, 46, of 20845 Route 47 was charged with
operating a vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes after a
traffic stop
Saturday at 11:53 p.m. on Route 47 at Miller Road.
Molly A.
Priest, 41, of 10458 Shield Road was injured in a traffic
accident and
charged with operating a vehicle intoxicated and failure to
control her car
Sunday at 3:31 a.m. Priest lost control while heading
down Collins Avenue,
west of Paver Barnes Road. She rolled her car and
injured her hand in the
crash. Priest was transported by medics to
Memorial Hospital of Union County
for care.
No entry was made after someone broke a window Sunday at 2:46 p.m.
in
the 18000 block of Poling Road trying to get inside.
A resident in the
6700 block of Weldon Road reported someone charged
$367.11 on his credit card
for camping equipment purchased online which
was discovered Sunday at 8:43
p.m.

Several people were reportedly injured in a
crash Sunday on Route 4 at
9:22 p.m. which then caused another
crash.
Samuel D. Minier, 31, of Springfield was headed south on Route 4 when
he
swerved to miss a cat in the road and lost control, rolling his
car.
Minier's car went off into the Route 4 northbound lanes and struck
the
car of driver Chase McDowell, 22, of 500 Meadows Drive, which
then
struck the vehicle driven by Wesley Mannasmith, 16, of Radnor who
had
been driving behind Minier in the southbound lanes.
Mannasmith was
injured in the crash and transported by Marysville medics
to Memorial
Hospital of Union County. McDowell was injured and
transported by Marysville
medics to Marion General Hospital.
According to OSP reports a man named Tom
Estes, whose personal
information was not included, was also injured after
vehicle debris
allegedly struck him during the crash. Specific details were
not
included in the report, but he was transported by MedFlight
helicopter
to Ohio State University Hospital and is currently listed in
stable condition.
Also injured in the crash was Lawrence A. Arbogast,
whose age was not
listed, of 12117 Route 347 after he was headed south on
Route 4 and
struck a vehicle in the road from the previous crash scene. His
car went
off the road and struck a tree. He was injured and transported
by
Marysville medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County.

According to police reports:
The Short Stop in the 300 block of West Fifth
Street reported Thursday
at 11:30 a.m. that a woman was outside the store
shooting video of the
building. When confronted she drove away.
The
manager of an apartment complex in the 600 block of Kenny Lane
reported
criminal damaging Thursday at 1 p.m. to an apartment by
former tenants.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office reported that a
checking account used
to pay out inmates upon release has been compromised.
On Thursday at
1:25 p.m. the check were reportedly passed at a business in
the 500
block of Coleman's Crossing Boulevard.
A business in the 800 block
of Coleman's' Crossing Boulevard reported
Thursday at 3:27 p.m. that an
18-volt drill and a 9-volt screwdriver had
been stolen by an
employee.
Robert W. Durst Sr., 49, of 172 Willow Drive, was arrested on
an
outstanding warrant from Marysville Municipal Court today at 5:44
a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
James E. Cromlish, 44, of 28 W.
Magnetic St. in Magnetic Springs, was
charged with menacing and phone
harassment after repeatedly making
obscene calls to a victim in Delaware
County Wednesday.
Deputies are asking residents to be aware of similar scams
as one
reported Thursday. A resident in the 23000 block of U.S. 36 West found
a
UPS package on the porch. Inside were seven $500 American
Express
checks. The note inside asked the person to cash the checks, keep

percent of the money and send the rest to a location in Nigeria.
The
resident called law enforcement instead. The incident is part of a
known
scam and anyone who comes across a similar package is asked to
contact
the sheriff's office.
A resident in the 19000 block of Poling Road
reported a possible prowler
after there was a knock on the door Thursday at
around 10 a.m. and no
one was there. Footprints were found outside and a car
door was left
open. Nothing was reported stolen.

According to police reports:
Drug abuse was reported Wednesday at 12:37 p.m.
after a person overdosed
in the 2000 block of Preakness Place. The incident
was later discovered
to be caused by old medication, which caused an adverse
reaction in the victim.
A resident in the 600 block of Rainbow Drive
reported Wednesday at 4:30
p.m. that an unknown person made purchases on her
new debit card for $530.
Kristy A. Pyles, 26, of 618 Allenby Drive, was
arrested on an
outstanding warrant from Delaware County Wednesday at 6 p.m.
while in
the 300 block of South Oak Street.
Jamie B. Voiles, 38, of 710 W.
Eighth St., was arrested for intoxicated
disorderly conduct Wednesday at
11:17 p.m. at a business in the 16000
block of Allenby Drive.
Gilberto S.
Rodriquez, 39, of 1063 Coventry Way apt. C, was arrested and
charged with
domestic violence after a fight with his wife today at 4:42 a.m.

to sheriff's reports:
Wednesday at 12:20 p.m. a resident in the 9000 block of
New California
Drive said a package from the porch of the home had been
stolen.
Wednesday at about 8 p.m. a burglary was reported to have occurred
in
the 23000 block of Woodstock Road. The door was forcefully entered
and
some $800 in jewelry and electronics were taken.
Deputies are
investigating the owner of a vehicle reported to have been
driving
erratically and tailgating other drivers Monday on U.S. 42 at
U.S. 33. The
license plate of the driver was documented and deputies are
trying to find
the person for questioning.

Brian P. Smith, 20, of 13974 Pleasant Ridge Road
was charged with
disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol
Tuesday at 10
p.m. after a report of a fight outside an apartment at Village
Square Apartments.
An adult male in the 700 block of South Walnut Street
reportedly
attempted suicide by overdosing on drugs Tuesday at 7:40
p.m.
Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. a 15-year-old male was reported missing from
his
home in the 200 block of West Third Street. Police are
currently
investigating the report.

Monday at 11:40 a.m. in the
700 block of Milford Avenue.
Child abuse was
reported Monday at 1:04 p.m. after a 17-year-old male

without food or
heat.

Deputies responded to the 20000
block of Orchard Road Monday at 10:09
a.m. after a 14-year-old female may
have overdosed. It was later
discovered the female had not taken anything,
but claimed to have during
a dispute with her parents. No charges have been

A 17-year-old male was reported missing at 10:06
p.m. Sunday, from his
residence in the 600 block of West Seventh
Street.
Kenneth M. McConnell, 40, of 1537 Rebecca Drive was arrested Sunday
at
5:56 p.m. and charged with assault, menacing, and violation of
probation
after he allegedly shoved his ex-girlfriend down a flight of
stairs.
A resident in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive reported Sunday at
5:26
p.m. that her 3-year-old son had been inappropriately touched over
the
past few weeks by another child.
Sunday at 4:04 p.m. some residents in
the 600 block of West Third Street
reported they were involved in a physical
altercation in their home. No
charges were filed.
Billy J. Salmons, 27, of
East Liberty was charged Sunday at 3:31 a.m.
with disorderly conduct and
physical control after he was found to have
driven to the 900 block of
Watkins Glen Boulevard. According to reports,
Salmons was intoxicated and had
been pounding on several apartment doors.
Sunday at 1:09 a.m. a
15-year-old male and 16-year-old female were
charged with curfew violation
after being found snowboarding on the
property of a business in the 500 block
of Parkway Drive.
David T. Sawyer, 37, of 173 Northcrest Drive was arrested
Saturday at
8:04 p.m. and charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly
conduct
following a dispute with a former girlfriend.

a.m. a resident in the 500 block of Amrine Mill Road
reported the theft of a
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car was found a few
minutes later on the Route
31 ramp to U.S. 33 East.
Saturday at 2:25 a.m. a resident in the 700 block of
Meadows Drive
reported she had received threatening text messages from her
estranged husband.
Mark A. Williams, Jr., 23, of 676 Allenby Drive was
arrested Friday at
10:51 p.m. for driving under suspension during a traffic
stop on West
4th Street at Maple Street.
A 16-year-old female resident in
the 200 block of West 9th Street was
charged Friday at 5:12 p.m. with
domestic violence following a physical
altercation with her mother.
Friday
at 2:50 p.m. a business in the 700 block of Milford Avenue
reported an oxygen
machine and accessories valued at $4,000 were taken.
The items were later
recovered, and no charges were issued.
Brandie M. Craid, 30, of 1563 Rebecca
Drive was arrested Friday at 11:01
a.m. on a failure to appear warrant, for
passing bad checks, from the
Marysville Municipal Court.
According to
sheriff's reports:
Nathan Wilcox, 19, of Hilliard was charged with possession
of marijuana
and underage consumption/possession of alcohol after a traffic
stop
Saturday at 2:47 a.m. on Scottslawn Road at U.S. 33. Wilcox was
the
passenger in the vehicle.
Deputies recovered two bicycles found in the
900 block of London Avenue
Friday at 11:44 a.m. One is a red and white bike
and the other is blue
and silver in color. The owners of the bikes are asked
to call the
sheriff's office to claim their property.
Sunday at 2:18 a.m.
deputies found an abandoned car parked off of Route
31. The license plates
were discovered to have been stolen out of
Columbus. The vehicle was turned
over to Columbus police.

A 13-year-old female and a 19-year-old male were
found in a car in the
1300 block of West Fifth Street Thursday at 9:27 p.m.
Charges are
pending an investigation for suspected sex crimes.
A resident
in the 400 block of Sycamore Street reported receiving a
check on Jan. 8 from
a business for assigned services Thursday. The
check was discovered to be
fraudulent in the amount of $4,900.
A male patient at a business in the 700
block of South Plum Street
reportedly assaulted a doctor Thursday at 11:43
a.m. Charges have not
been filed at this time.
Thursday at 7:30 p.m. a
resident on Pleasant Ridge Drive reported that
her son was assaulted at
Marysville High School.
Cordell J. Hicks, 19, of 532 Surrey Lane was arrested
on several felony
warrants from Union County in the 1300 block of West Fifth
Street Thursday.
George L. Cook, 32, of 925 W. Fifth St. Apt. 9 and
Jonathan L. Troyer,
25, of 287 Redwood Drive, were charged with operating a
snowmobile on
city property, following a report of the vehicles in McCarthy
Park today at 2:58 a.m.

McCannahea, 19, of 14228 Pleasant Ridge Drive was charged with
speeding and
possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on
U.S. 36 east at the

According to police reports:
Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. police began
investigating a possible sex
offense. A person in the 500 block of North Main
Street reported
purchasing a used computer and discovered child pornography.
The
computer was turned over to police.
Perjury charges are pending
against a woman who claimed that she lied in
front of the grand jury Monday.
On Tuesday she admitted she was not
telling the truth and the incident is
currently under investigation.
Jeremy Overfield, 27, of 606 Meadows Drive was
arrested and charged with
failure to appear in Marysville Municipal Court for
an offense Wednesday at 8:56 p.m.
Roberto C. Reyes, 25, of 708 Meadows
Drive was arrested and charged with
possession of drugs after he was found
with marijuana during a traffic
stop on Collins Avenue at Ash Street today at
12:51 a.m.
Three types of prescription medications were reported stolen from
a coat
hanging on the back of a chair unattended at a business in the 200
block
of South Plum Street Wednesday at 11 a.m.
A woman in the 200 block
of Elwood Avenue reported that her home was
burglarized sometime between 7
a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday by an unknown person.
Identity theft was
reported in the 200 block of South Oak Street
Wednesday at 2:09 p.m. after a
credit card bill was received for an
account he does not have.
A business
in the 800 block of West Fifth Street reported Wednesday that
someone stole
$70 worth of aluminum cans from a barrel at a drop-off station.
A business
reported misuse of a credit card Wednesday at 2:49 p.m. after
three credit
card purchases were denied due to fraud.
According to sheriff's
reports:
An electrical meter was reported to have been damaged sometime
between
Dec. 17 and Jan. 17 in the 15000 block of Boundary Road. Deputies
found
shotgun shells nearby, in what could be an accident while someone
was
doing target practice nearby.
A woman in the 21000 block of North
Darby Coe Road reported Wednesday at
9:24 a.m. that her ex-husband has been
violating a temporary protection order.
Travis Davis, 23, of Richwood, was
cited for failure to stop for the
flashing lights of a North Union school bus
Wednesday at 3:40 p.m. on
Route 4 at Route 37.
Deputies are investigating
two males who reportedly shouted profanity
and threats on an ongoing basis
outside a woman's home in the 7000 block
of Scioto Road. The two returned
Wednesday at 9:27 p.m.
According to OSP reports:
David Bowling, 20, of
Marysville, was arrested today at 2:14 a.m. for
possession of marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia after a
traffic stop on U.S. 33 in the
westbound lanes east of U.S. 42.
