6/29/07
According to police reports:
Peter H. Pruyn, 62, of 14159 U.S. 36, was
arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, failure to control his car and
driving left of
center after he crashed on U.S. 36 near Millcreek Drive today
at 2:26
a.m. Pruyn was eastbound in the westbound lanes and struck street
signs
before veering to the right and crashing into a ditch.
Scott E.
Kinsey, 28, of 470 Poppy Lane, was arrested and charged with
operating a
vehicle while intoxicated and a turn signal violation after
a traffic stop in
the 400 block of North Main Street today at 1:59 a.m.
Jack S. Griggs, 41, of
14317 Watkins Road, was arrested and charged with
disorderly conduct while
intoxicated on South Court Street at Fifth
Street today at 1:07 a.m.
A man
in the 300 block of Mound Street was found passed out and having
trouble
breathing while with friends Thursday at 8:22 p.m. The man was
transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County for care.
A 14-year-old male in the 300
block of West Eighth Street reported that
his mother had assaulted him by
shoving his head against a wall Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
Yard ornaments were
reported stolen from a property in the 200 block of
Windsor Drive
Thursday.
An unlocked bike was reported stolen from the Marysville Middle
School Thursday at 1:20 p.m.
A resident in the 700 block of West Fourth
Street witnessed someone
stealing bags of aluminum cans from the Shriner's
can drop off location
on Fourth Street Thursday at 7:57 a.m. Police reported
that the incident
is currently under investigation and has reportedly been
reoccurring.
Special measures are being undertaken to curtail the thefts
and
apprehend whoever has been stealing from the charity.
A resident in
the 300 block of Windmill Drive reported that tires to her
car were flattened
by an unknown person Thursday.
According to sheriff's reports: Reports

According to police reports:
At 6:34 a.m. today, police reported the death of
a 7-month old male who
was found unresponsive at a home in the 200 block of
West Third Street.
Marysville Assistant Police Chief Glenn Nicol said the
child was
pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital of Union County a short time
later.
"No foul play is suspected," Nicol said. "Apparently the child
had
previous medical issues."
As standard in the investigation of infant
deaths, the Marysville Fire
Department responded to the home to perform a CO
check. There was no
indication of harmful levels.
Nicol said the death
remains under investigation.
Burglary was reported Wednesday at 10:18 p.m.
after a resident in the
1700 block of Millington Way discovered someone
entered the home through
an unlocked rear sliding door and stole a
Playstation game system and
jewelry valued at $1,750.
Sometime over
Tuesday night numerous city street signs were stolen from
intersections at
Third Street and Mary Place, Third Street at Lee
Circle, Seventh and Buckeye
streets and Seventh and Ash streets.
Approximate values of the signs are $50
each. Residents are asked to
report any activity related to the theft to
police to aid in the investigation.
Theft from a motor vehicle was
reported Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. after a
resident on Raymond Road discovered
that her purse, containing her
driver's license, credit cards, checkbook and
$20 in cash, was stolen
from the trunk of her car parked at a business in the
1100 block of Charles Lane.
A patio table was stolen from a business in
the 200 block of East Fifth
Street sometime after 6 p.m. on
Tuesday.
According to sheriff's reports:
Monday at 1:58 p.m. a resident in
the 9000 block of Homer Road reported
that someone stole a $1,600 rifle from
his home over the past several months.
An attempted burglary was reported
Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. after a
resident in the 9000 block of Harriott Road
discovered someone forced
entry into cars and a shed. Nothing has been
reported missing at this time.
According to OSP reports:
This morning
troopers provided additional details on the Wednesday
morning crash that
resulted in a 17-year-old male being MedFlighted from
the scene for
injuries.
Reports indicate that driver Travis Copley was headed north
on
Scottslawn Road at Weaver Road, when he failed to maintain control
for
an unknown reason. As a result, he drove off the right side of
the
roadway, struck a ditch and then a sewer pipe before stopping in a
small
bean field. Unknown charges are pending as a result of the
crash.
6/27/07
According to OSP reports:
This morning, troopers responded to a serious
one-car crash in Darby Township.
Travis Copley, 17, of 14455 Route 736 was
reportedly driving in the area
of Scottslawn Road at Weaver Road when he went
off the roadway and
crashed his car. Copley was seriously injured and
transported by
MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for
care.
Further details on the crash were unavailable this morning as the
mishap
remains under investigation.
More information is expected to be
released Thursday morning.
According to police reports:
Two rear tires
were slashed on a car parked in the 700 block of Meadows
Drive sometime
Monday night.
An unknown person damaged the flower pot in front of a business
in the
200 block of East Fifth Street by pulling out the plants Monday
night.
An Xbox video game system, valued at $511, was purchased on a
stolen
credit card Monday at a business in the 500 block of Coleman's
Crossing Boulevard.
Someone stole a $300 Ipod music player from her
unlocked car parked in
the driveway Tuesday in the 500 block of Apple
Drive.
A business in the 14000 block of Industrial Parkway reported
that
someone in the 700 block of Kenny Lane was stealing cable
service Tuesday.
Mindi I. Brown, 28, of 1734 Damos Way was charged with
disorderly
conduct intoxication after she was found passed out in a yard in
the 200
block of Ash Street today at 4 a.m.
A car was reported stolen from
the 600 block of Kenny Lane and was then
discovered parked in the front yard
with the engine still running today at 6:11 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
On Tuesday at 2:16 p.m., child abuse was reported to deputies,
regarding
a 12-year-old male victim in York Township.
Bryan Trippett, 42,
of Richwood was charged with possession of marijuana
and driving under
suspension after a traffic stop on Route 4 at Askins Road Tuesday.

According to police reports:
A 15-year-old Marysville female reported Monday
that she was possibly
sexually assaulted sometime Monday after 3 p.m. while
in a vehicle
driving through the city. The report is currently under
investigation.
Monday at 5 p.m. police were called to a home on West Ninth
Street for a
man who claimed he was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend who
slammed the
front door on his hand. Later that day, police were called back
to the
residence after the male allegedly kicked in the back door of
the
apartment. No charges related to either incident have been filed at
this time.
A resident in the 300 block of Windmill Drive reported a
suspicious
person was attempting to sell burial insurance and asking for
account
information Monday at around 9:56 a.m.
Monday at noon a resident
in the 600 block of Kentucky Circle reported
that her son's Ipod device was
stolen from his backpack while at the Marysville City Pool.
Burglary was
reported Monday at 5:15 p.m. after a resident in the 900
block of West Ninth
Street discovered unknown suspects had forced entry
into her apartment and
stole prescription medication and $50 in change.
According to sheriff's
reports:
A resident in the 14000 block of Route 739 reported a possible
criminal
damaging incident after a crack was found in the windshield of his
car Monday.
Deputies are investigating an assault report in which a
6-year-old male
claims he was grabbed on the shoulders by a teacher's aide at
school in
the 10000 block of Route 736 Friday at noon and it left a
mark.

Blair Talbott, 23, of Columbus, was cited
for driving under suspension,
possession of drug paraphernalia, falsification
and failure to signal
after a traffic stop at 12:20 a.m. today on U.S. 42
north of U.S. 33.

According to sheriff's reports:
A player piano, valued at $800, was reported
stolen from the back porch
of a home in the 19000 block of Main Street in
Broadway Wednesday night.
Christopher R. Wilson, 29, of Zanesfield, was
charged with two counts of
driving under suspension, possession of marijuana
and possession of drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 in the
eastbound lanes at
Route 245 Friday at 7:58 a.m.
A business in the 18000
block of Route 4 reported a check for $111 in
services bounced
Friday.
Friday at 3:54 p.m. a box trailer valued at $5,000, was stolen from
a
property in the 6900 block of Route 161 in Jerome Township.
A woman in
the 32000 block of Fields Drive reported her identity had
been stolen to open
a Pay Pal account on the Internet Friday.
An emergency room nurse from a
Canton area hospital reported Friday at
8:42 p.m. that a 4-year-old female
was possibly sexually assaulted by
another juvenile from Union County. The
incident is currently under investigation.
Derek T. Heminger, 23, of 1133
Toby Court, was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated and driving
outside of marked lanes of traffic after
he was stopped by police for
speeding down the middle of two lanes on
West Fifth Street Saturday at 3:07
a.m.
A marijuana plant was seized and destroyed after a resident found it
at
the back of his property Saturday evening in the 12000 block of
Mulberry
Street in Essex.
Luke Kinney, 20, of Mason, Mich., was arrested
for possession of
marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was
stopped for
speeding Saturday at 8:56 p.m. on U.S. 33.
Jesus A. Arredondo
Loera, 29, of 145 S. Fulton St. in Richwood, was
arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, super blood alcohol
concentration and reckless operation
of a vehicle Sunday at 2:10 a.m.
Arredonado Loera reportedly left a bank
driveway with his tires spinning
and fishtailed into the roadway.
Kenneth
R. Crumb, 28, of Delaware, was arrested Sunday at 4:41 a.m. on
an outstanding
warrant after he was released from care at Memorial
Hospital of Union County.
He was also cited for possession of drug
paraphernalia for carrying a
marijuana pipe as he left the hospital.
Pamela L. Wolfe, 40, of Columbus, was
arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, super blood alcohol
concentration and parking on a roadway
today at 12:47 a.m. Deputies found
Wolfe highly intoxicated and passed
out behind the wheel of her vehicle,
which she had parked on the berm of
the roadway in the westbound lanes of
Honda Parkway.
An explosive device was used to destroy a mailbox in the 15000
block of
Gandy Eddy Road Saturday night.
A 16-year-old female from Lima
faces assault charges after a fight with
a 13-year-old St. Marys female at
the Central Ohio Youth Center on Route
4 Thursday at 3:50 p.m.
Picnic
tables at the Broadway baseball field were damaged by people
engraving their
names into the wood Friday.
A lock was discovered to be cut off a shed in the
9000 block of Herriott
Road Sunday afternoon. Nothing was missing from
inside.
Attempted burglary was reported in the 5000 block of Gordon Way
in
Jerome Township after a resident returned home to find the
window
screens pried off. No entry appears to have been made.
According to
police reports:
A 3-year-old child was reportedly sexually abused by a family
member at
an unspecified location Sunday at midnight. The incident is
currently under investigation.
A house and vehicle were egged in a
criminal damaging report filed
Sunday at 12:29 a.m. in the 400 block of Bent
Tree Drive.
Mickey J. Fyffe, 20, of North Lewisburg, was arrested on two
outstanding
warrants issued by Champaign County Sunday at 1:46 p.m.
A
business in the 17000 block of Echo Drive reported several client
accounts
had suspicious activity on them in a possible identity theft Friday
morning.
A small hole and a crack were found in the rear door of a home in
the
700 block of Meadows Drive Friday at 1:10 p.m.
A Milford Center man
reported that approximately $540 was stolen from
his account at a business in
the 1000 block of West Fifth Street Friday at 6:53 p.m.
Tammi R. Enright,
27, of Las Vegas, was charged with having an open
container of alcohol at a
business in the 100 block of North Main Street
Friday at 11:17 p.m.
Vulgar
comments were discovered to be written with shoe polish or paint
on a vehicle
parked in the 1500 block of Meadowlark Lane Saturday at 12:36 a.m.
Tami
Mullaney-Graham, 48, of 14200 Industrial Parkway, lot 144, was
arrested
Saturday at 2:42 a.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated after
a traffic
stop on East Fourth Street at Walnut Street.
George Elliott, 47, of 14802
Watkins Road was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, super
concentration of blood alcohol levels,
failure to use a turn signal and
failure to stay in marked lanes after a
traffic stop on North Maple Street at
U.S. 33 Saturday at 4:51 a.m.
A resident in the 600 block of Milford Avenue
and a veterinarian were
both bitten by a dog Saturday at 8:39
a.m.

Patrick J. Fish, 24, 615 Parkway
Drive for operating a vehicle intoxicated
after a traffic stop on US 33
at Scottslawn Road.
6/22/07
According to police reports:
A car was reported stolen from the Honda of
America business in the 600
block of Coleman's Crossing Boulevard on
Wednesday. The car had been
parked on the site on Tuesday to receive
maintenance and the keys had
been placed inside the ignition. The car was
gone the next morning.
Later in the day, employees found the car parked in
front of the
business with additional 99 miles discovered on the
odometer.
A resident in the 400 block of Wilderness Drive reported that
someone
broke into their car overnight and stole a wallet Wednesday at
11:30 p.m.
Chelsy D. Catterson, 18, of 157 Tulip Drive Apt. B was arrested
Thursday
at 10:53 p.m. and charged with domestic violence after a fight with
her husband.
Stephen G. Odell, 20, of 239 W. Fourth St. was charged with
possession
of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on West Fourth Street
at West Fifth Street.
According to sheriff's reports:
Vandalism charges
are pending against a 14-year-old male who admitted to
causing extensive
damage to numerous automobiles using spray paint.
Thursday at 7:54 p.m. a
resident in the 18000 block of Cunningham
Arbella Road discovered that
sometime during the day spray paint had
been used to damage his car, trailer,
barn walls, a tractor and many
more objects. No estimate of damage has been
compiled at this time. A
neighbor reported hearing of a local juvenile who
had been bragging of
the crime. The boy later admitted to deputies when
confronted.
Sheriff's deputies and the State Fire Marshall's Office
are
investigating the cause of a small fire discovered on the back porch
of
a residence Thursday in the 500 block of Fourth Street in
Unionville
Center. Juveniles riding bikes in the area spotted the flames and
doused
them with a nearby garden hose. The fire ended up causing scorch
damage
to the porch and walls. Deputies reported that no accelerant such
as
gasoline was detected nearby and the cause remains under
investigation.
A resident discovered someone used permanent marker to write
profane
words on playground equipment in the 18000 block of Main Street
in
Broadway Wednesday at 7:10 p.m.
Thursday at 10 a.m. a woman reported
her purse had been stolen from her
car parked in the 9000 block of Tartan
Fields Drive. The purse was later
found by a nearby dumpster, and nothing
appeared to have been stolen.
A resident in the 18000 block of Route 31
reported that sometime between
May 15 and June 15 numerous items have been
stolen from her home. An
ex-boyfriend is suspected.

A 13-year-old female in the 1200 block of
Creekview Drive reportedly cut
her wrist and was transported to Memorial
Hospital of Union County for treatment.
A resident in the 1800 block of
Chiprock Drive reported someone painted
obscene pictures and words in white
shoe polish on her driveway Wednesday.
Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. a resident
in the 1800 block of Woodside Drive
reported someone put dog waste inside her
car.
A man in the 2000 block of Shetland Drive reported Wednesday that
his
soon to be ex-wife stole $442.49 after taking one of his bank
checks.
The factory speakers were reportedly stolen out of a car parked in
the
200 block of West Ninth Street Wednesday.
James M. Collins, 30, of
Plain City, was arrested and charged with
operating a vehicle intoxicated
after a traffic stop on North Maple
Street at Schwartzkopf Park Wednesday at
10:38 p.m.
Dustin T. E. Edwards, 18, of 204 W. Third St., and Ashley A.
Catterson,
20, of the same address, were both charged with disorderly conduct
after
causing an incident on West Third Street today at 5 a.m.

A grandmother reported her grandson borrowed her car
and did not return
it Tuesday from the 31000 block of Winnemac Road. The male
later
returned the car and possible charges are still pending.

According to sheriff's reports:
Dallas Fridley III, 26, of Prospect, was
charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia, driving under suspension and a
seat belt violation after
a traffic stop on Route 739 Monday at 6
p.m.
Tuesday at 10:16 a.m. a social worker from Columbus and
Children's
Services reported an allegation of sexual battery involving
a
13-year-old male and a 5-year-old female, which allegedly occurred
in
Jerome Township.
Vandalism was reported after residential phone service
was cut off in
the 18000 block of Route 739 Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. after an
unknown
fired a gun at the lines causing damage.
Two shotguns and an air
gun tool valued at $2,150 were stolen from a
barn in the 24000 block of
Storms Road Tuesday at 7:29 p.m.
Tuesday at 4:29 p.m. a resident reported two
laptop computers had been
stolen from his car parked in the 26000 block of
Lunda Road.
According to police reports:
Two bicycles were stolen from the
500 block of West Ninth Street
Tuesday. The bikes were later returned by an
unknown person later in the day.
A Sumac Drive resident was informed of a
man using her Social Security
number without her permission Tuesday at 12:01
p.m.
A total of $60 in rolled quarters and house and car keys were
stolen
from an unlocked car parked at a business in the 1100 block of
Charles
Lane Tuesday.
The rear window of a car was broken out by someone
throwing rocks in the
1100 block of east Fifth Street Tuesday afternoon.
A
bike was stolen from the rear of a business in the 200 block of South
Plum
Street Tuesday.
A purse, wallet and contents were stolen from two individuals
in the
1000 block of Delaware Avenue Tuesday at 2:08 p.m.
A ski boat
valued at $20,000 and a boat trailer valued at $2,500 stolen
from Delaware
County were recovered on Allenby Drive Tuesday at 6:56
p.m. The motor had
been removed from the boat.

Brian Costello, 18,
of 530 S. Maple St., was charged with underage
consumption of alcohol,
possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia after a traffic
stop today at 12:28 a.m. on Route 31.
Costello was a passenger in the
vehicle.

According to sheriff's reports:
Sunday at 12:38 p.m. Anthony Redding, 37, of
218 Cypress Drive was
arrested for disorderly conduct after riding his
bicycle while
intoxicated. Deputies heard reports of a man riding erratically
on
Watkins Road. On the scene, Redding was found injured and lying on
the
ground next to his bike. He was transported to Memorial Hospital
of
Union County for care.
No charges were filed against a 13-year-old
female after being unruly
and destructive at a home in the 17000 block of
Boundary Road Friday at 11:26 a.m.
According to police reports:
Brock
C. Swords, 22, of LaRue was arrested for operating a vehicle under
the
influence of alcohol, causing a hit/skip accident and failure to
control his
car Monday at 10:33 p.m. after hitting several cars parked
along Second
Street and North Main Street.
Todd Lash, 45, of Columbus was arrested today
at 1:41 a.m. for operating
a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on
Delaware Avenue.
A resident in the 600 block of East Sixth Street reported
that a dark
colored SUV sideswiped a car parked on the street today at 2:47
a.m. The
SUV then drove away.
A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged
with possession of tobacco
Monday at 7:33 p.m. in the 200 block of East
Fourth Street.
A resident in the 500 block of North Main Street reported that
he found
what looks like a pellet hole on the side of his
trailer.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 200 block of West Third Street
reported that his bike
was stolen when he left it unsecured while at a
swimming pool about 2 p.m. Friday.
A business in the 1100 block of East
Fifth Street reported that several
juvenile males were throwing rocks at
items being stored on their
property about 4:14 Friday. One of the rocks
broke a window on a recreational vehicle.
A resident in the 500 block of
East Fourth Street reported that she was
assaulted at her home by an
acquaintance.
Joseph A. Miller, 36, of 130 Hemlock Drive was arrested at
about 8:20
p.m. Friday on an outstanding warrant failure to appear on a
probation violation hearing.
A resident in the 200 block of Lakeside
Circle reported that a dumpster
was on fire in front of another Lakeside
Circle home about 9:57 p.m. Friday.
Jeremy S. Sassen, 27, of 71 West Ninth
Street, apt. 16A, was arrested,
charged with assault, after an altercation at
the man's home about 12:42 a.m. Saturday.
About 1:15 a.m. Saturday, a
resident in the 700 block of East Fourth
Street reported hearing a loud
crash. When officers responded, they
found that a large glass aquarium had
been thrown at a vehicle.
Several mail boxes were found damaged on London
Avenue about 1:51 a.m. Saturday.
A resident of the 16000 block of Paver
Barnes Road reported that she was
assaulted while at a business in the 100
block of North Main Street
about 2:07 a.m. Saturday.
A resident of the 200
block of West Fourth Street reported about 4:30
p.m. Saturday that an
American Flag was stolen off his porch.
A resident of the 900 block of London
Avenue was taken to Memorial
Hospital of Union County about 8:02 p.m. after
she cut herself with a razor.
A resident of the 900 block of Walker Woods
Lane reported that a digital
Camera and a satellite radio were taken from his
unlocked vehicle about 10 p.m. Saturday.
James E. Disbennett, 24, of 202
Tulip Drive, was arrested about 12:55
a.m. Sunday, charged with persistent
disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute.
About 2:45 a.m. a
resident in the 200 block of Windsor Court reported
that her front room
window had been broken.
Timothy L. Lewis, 28, of 18516 Raymond Road, was
arrested, charged with
driving under the influence, driving under court
suspension, no
operator's license, failure to wear a safety belt and
improper lane
usage after a traffic stop on East Fifth Street about 3 a.m.
Sunday.
Roberto C. Reyes, 25, of 989 London Avenue was arrested about 4:45
a.m.
Sunday on an outstanding warrant from another county.
A 16-year-old
Marysville boy was arrested about 1:36 p.m. Sunday after
an employee of a
business in the 500 block of Coleman's Crossing
Boulevard reported seeing the
boy opening DVDs in a restroom of the business.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Two ladders, valued at approximately $50, were stolen Thursday from
a
construction site in the 9000 block of Jerome Road. The ladders
were
later found on a suspects' property and the theft is currently
under investigation.
A business in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway
reported Thursday at
9:56 a.m. that $60,000 was stolen through a fraudulent
bank account that
had been set up. The theft is currently under
investigation.
Wesley Kanzig, 45, of Kenton was cited for possession of
drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Route 31 at Route 739 Thursday
at
8:18 p.m. The unnamed passenger was also picked up on an
outstanding
warrant out of Hardin County.
A 37-year-old female was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union
County for an intentional overdose
of sleeping pills Saturday at 9:21
a.m. in the 10000 block of Ketch
Road.
Eric Schmelzer, 31, of Richwood was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes after a traffic stop
on
Route 47 at Grendel Road Sunday at 2:42 a.m.
According to OSP
reports:
Area law enforcement crews from the Ohio State Highway patrol, the
Union
County Sheriff's Office and Marysville Police and Fire
Departments
responded to a non-injury crash Saturday at 5:12 a.m. in which a
semi
truck had fallen onto its side. Reports state that the vehicle
was
eastbound on U.S. 33 when the driver lost control and went off the
right
side of the roadway, striking a road sign, traveling back onto the
road
and then flipping onto its side before sliding to a stop at Route
245.
The semi was reportedly filled with frozen fruits and vegetables,
which
remained intact. The Ohio EPA arrived to deal with approximately
25
gallons of fuel which had spilled from the tank.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 500 block of Dove Street
reported someone drew
obscenities on her car window with paint or shoe polish
Thursday.
A Florida resident reported to police that a Marysville business in
the
400 block of Chestnut Street refused to give him $4,085 worth of
car
parts he had purchased.
A resident in the 400 block of Grove Street
reported that someone used
her debit card to buy things in Arizona.
Arthur
L. Burchett, 36, of 203 Chestnut St. was arrested and charged
with assault
after a fight at his home Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Someone cut the screen to a
residence in the 1400 block of Meadowlark
Lane and stole $350 of assorted
change.
Amanda Jo Clark, 20, of 925 W. Fifth St. was charged with the theft
of a
$50 gift card from a business in the 1000 block of West Fifth
Street Thursday at 7:24 p.m.

Nicholas B. Maynard, 24, of Columbus
was arrested after leading troopers
on a pursuit in Union County. Thursday at
1:49 a.m. a trooper attempted
to stop a green 1995 Ford Taurus for a car
defect violation on U.S. 33.
The trooper turned on his lights and siren, but
the driver failed to
stop. Although speeds never went higher than 55 miles
per hour, the
pursuit continued into Franklin County and the Dublin Police
Department
assisted. The driver then went into a residential area and parked
at his
home. Maynard was taken into custody without further incident and
was
taken to jail. There were no injuries to the suspect or
officers
involved, and no damages to vehicles.

a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after he was
intoxicated and
found in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of West
Third Street.
A resident in the 13000 block of Watkins Road reported that
tools stolen
from him several weeks ago were found at a business in the 500
block of
North Main Street Wednesday.
A resident in the 100 block of
Northcrest Drive reported that her son
stole several checks and wrote them
for a total of $280 Wednesday.
A resident in the 120 block of East Fifth
Street reported that someone
stole a radio/CD player from his parked van
Wednesday.
Carleen P. Harper, 52, of 991 Coventry Place apt. B was arrested
and
charged with theft after allegedly stealing $14.11 of makeup from
Kroger
on West Fifth Street Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

A total of $250 of scrap metal was stolen from a trash bin in the
7600
block of Commercial Place Wednesday night.
An unknown person stole
approximately $2,700 in hand tools from a

Tuesday at 10:36 a.m. a business in the 900 block of West Fifth

totaling
$2,069.221 from a customer.
The theft of $180 in an envelope was
reported from a business in the
1100 block of West Fifth Street Tuesday at
4:05 p.m.
Lindsay B. Rooney, 20, of Ostrander and Michael W. Nuss, 22, of
Dublin
were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
after
they were found in the 600 block of Allenby Drive with rolling papers,
a
blue glass marijuana pipe and baggies used for holding marijuana
today at 1:06 a.m.
A woman reported her purse was stolen today at 2:33
a.m. in the 100
block of North Main Street.

Two cars and numerous mailboxes were found spray painted with purple
and
blue paint in the 14000 block of Osage Drive Tuesday at 10:23
a.m.
Deputies are investigating a fight Sunday in the 14000 block of
Route
47, during which a man claimed he was struck in the head by
someone
throwing a glass.
After a traffic stop Monday at 3:43 p.m. on U.S.
33 at U.S. 42 William
Preston, 34, of Ada was arrested for an outstanding
warrant issued by
another county. Additional Union County charges are pending
laboratory
results on unidentified prescription medications found in
his possession.
Joseph Howald, 28, of LaRue was cited for driving with an
open container
of alcohol Monday at 8:14 p.m. on Route 37 at Route 739.
A
resident reported her vehicle was struck with someone shooting a paint
ball
gun while traveling down Route 37 outside of Richwood Tuesday at 12:09
a.m.
Trespassing charges are pending against an 18-year-old and
three
juveniles who were found inside a closed cemetery on Route 37
near
Richwood Tuesday at 1:42 a.m. Among them, a 16-year-old male was
cited
for possession of tobacco.

A 61-year-old woman was allegedly struck by an

employee as she was being transported to the hospital to

A 15-year-old female
reported she was sexually assaulted by a
17-year-old acquaintance Monday at
11:15 p.m. in the 500 block of North
Main Street. The report remains under
investigation.
A small arson fire was reported Monday after a resident in the
600 block
of West Eighth Street discovered a small fire along his fence
that
caused slight damage.
Two cases of beer were reported stolen from the
back porch of a home in
the 1300 block of Woodline Drive Monday
night.

providing false information to
sheriff's deputies regarding a car accident in
Magnetic Springs.
Oraville Johnson, 51, of Magnetic Springs was charged with

6:28 p.m.
Deputies found the man lying in the roadway, who claimed he was
struck
by a car. It was later determined that he had run into the car
on purpose.
Christy Pavel, 23, of Van Wert was charged with possession of
drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on U.S. 33 at U.S. 42 Sunday at
6:44
p.m. Pavel was the passenger inside the vehicle.

Burglary was reported to have occurred Friday at 12:31 p.m.
when a

The rear driver side tire of a car
parked in the 100 block of Taylor
Avenue was punctured Friday.
Child abuse
is being investigated after a Milford Center resident told

Breaking and entering was reported Thursday at 1:23 p.m. after

in
damages to a car after trying to steal the vehicle from a barn on
the property.
Someone broke into the concession stand at the baseball
diamonds in the
18000 block of main Street in Broadway Friday at 5:44 p.m.
The stand was
forcibly entered and food and candy were stolen, valued at
$400.
Tools were stolen from a garage in the 19000 block of Bonnie
Court Friday.
Franklin Phillips, 25, of 13967 Sycamore Drive was arrested
Friday at
7:08 p.m. for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on U.S.
42 at U.S. 33.
The Department of Human Services is currently investigating
a report of
child abuse filed Friday at 5:07 p.m. after a 4-year-old male
from
Taylor Township was brought to the Memorial Hospital of Union
County
emergency room with injuries. The case remains under
investigation.
Deputies responded to the 27000 block of Ford Reed Road for a
horse that
got loose Saturday at 7 p.m. and damaged a bean

Several people were arrested after a street
fight today at 2:14 a.m. at
109 N. Main St. at Lee Dog's Locker Room.
Officers found a man lying on
the ground, another bleeding and someone had
used pepper spray. As a
result, Jason Bender, 29, of 1522 Lacosta Drive was
arrested for
disorderly conduct; Lucas Bender, 25, of the same address was
arrested
for assault; and Ronald Moore, 30, of Mechanicsburg was arrested
for
disorderly conduct.
A 36-year-old Marysville man was found lying face
down on the ground in
the alley behind the Marysville Fire Department
Thursday at 10:48 p.m.
The resident who found him could not find a pulse,
although firemen were
later able to find one after performing CPR. The man
reportedly suffered
a drug over dose. He was transported by medics to
Memorial Hospital of
Union County.
James A. Batchelder, 32, of 1033
Watkins Glen Ct. was arrested for
domestic violence Thursday at 7 p.m. after
a dispute with his wife.
Loretta M. Miller, 32, of 220 W. Fourth St. was
arrested for disorderly
conduct after a domestic dispute at her home today at
12:24 a.m.
A resident in the 13000 block of Watkins Road reported Thursday
that
someone has been using his wife's credit card at several
locations around Marysville.
A business in the 1200 block of West Fifth
Street reported that two
customers wrote several checks for merchandise

Chad W. Hill, 24, of Plain City, was arrested for possession of
drugs,
and Brandon L. Steffen, 24, of 697 Kenny Lane, was arrested

possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on South

Street Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.
Police dealt with a man threatening
suicide who was involved in a
dispute Wednesday at 10:08 a.m. in the 100
block of Buerger Street. He
was transported to the Memorial Hospital of Union
County Emergency Room
for evaluation.
A purse was stolen out of an
unlocked car parked in the 600 block of
East Sixth Street
Wednesday.

Deputies listed the death as an apparent suicide
by hanging, although

school bus stop
sign Wednesday at 9:03 a.m. in the 26000 block of Route
4.
The Union County Department of Human Services reported a possible
gross
sexual imposition case Wednesday at 1:06 p.m. involving a
14-year-old
female victim in Taylor Township and a suspected family
member.
Aaron Hamilton, 31, of Richwood, was arrested Wednesday at 9:47 p.m.
for
operating a vehicle intoxicated, high blood alcohol concentration
and
driving outside of marked lanes after a traffic stop on Claibourne
Road near Route 47.
Roger Couch, 39, of Middleburg was arrested for
speeding, operating a
vehicle intoxicated, driving under suspension,
possession of marijuana
and additional charges are pending for firearms
violations. The arrest
occurred as a result of a traffic stop on Wednesday at
11:48 p.m. in the
13000 block of Route 4.
A victim on Route 245 in Allen
Township reported selling a wave runner,
and was paid with a check that

Tuesday at 4:54 p.m.
A Shellbark Drive resident reported Tuesday at
5:15 p.m. that he saw six
or seven juveniles around the gazebo at Scott Farms
Park. The gazebo was
then discovered damaged and he wasn't sure if they were
the cause.
John A. Brunemann, 27, and Rhea M. Henson, 32, both of 62 Sumac
Drive
were arrested for disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute Tuesday
at 5:23 p.m.

served with a warrant for the same offense

A resident in
the 20000 block of Raymond Road reported her house was
egged early Tuesday
morning and it caused damage.
Tuesday at 11:43 a.m. Timothy Dwayne Smith, 22,
of 13163 Route 347 was
stopped while traveling in the 13000 block of Route
347. When served
with an outstanding warrant, Smith resisted arrest,
threatened officers
and then kicked the inside of the cruiser. As a result,
Smith was
charged with resisting arrest, menacing, and vandalism of
government property.
A vehicle was reportedly egged in the 20000 block of
Dog Leg Road
Tuesday at 5:54 p.m.
Gross sexual imposition was reported
Tuesday at 10:10 p.m. concerning
two juvenile females and an incident which
allegedly occurred in Allen Township.

Hamilton Road, which allegedly occurred eight
years ago. Both victims
were juveniles at the time.
A 15-year-old female
was arrested on a probation violation after she was
found with a syringe
Friday at 5:52 p.m. in the 21000 block of Evans Road.
Marc A. Marshall,
20, of 16404 Route 347 was arrested Friday at 9 p.m.
for operating a vehicle
intoxicated, high blood alcohol concentration,
underage consumption and a
headlight violation after a traffic stop on
Route 37 at Hopewell
Road.
Saturday at 4:24 a.m. Kevin Thompson, 46, of 18078 Route 161
was
arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated and driving outside
of
marked lanes after a traffic stop on Scottslawn Road at Route 736.
A
deputy had another vehicle pulled over and Thompson reportedly
drove
around the scene, came to the intersection and squealed his tires as
he
left. After closing out the previous traffic stop the deputy
pursued.
Nicholas Pazarentzos, 20, of Springfield was arrested Saturday at
2:16
a.m. for operating a vehicle intoxicated, underage consumption
and
driving outside of marked lanes after a traffic stop on Middleburg
Plain City Road.
Nathanial P. Bemus, 22, of 19956 Middleburg Plain City
Road was arrested
for disorderly conduct after he was found unconscious
laying next to a
bike in a ditch outside of Milford Center Saturday at 4:06
a.m. He was
discovered to be intoxicated, although not injured.
Kristin N.
Wiess, 18, of 286 North Ave. in Plain City was arrested for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated and underage consumption after a traffic
stop in Plain
City for having a headlight out, speeding and having no front license
plate.
Charles T. Troxell, 24, of South Charleston was arrested for operating
a
vehicle intoxicated, high blood alcohol level concentration and
driving
outside of marked lanes after a traffic stop on Route 161 at
Industrial
Parkway Sunday at 3:38 a.m.
Larry G. Adams, 59, of 55
Commercial St. was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated and failure
to signal a right hand turn after a
traffic stop in Milford Center Sunday at
2:52 a.m.
A resident in the 15000 block of Robinson Road reported someone
poured
rocks and syrup in his gas tank Saturday night.
A person found
marijuana and drug paraphernalia left behind by the
former tenants of a
residence in the 34000 block of Route 37 Sunday.
Sunday at 6 p.m. a person
reported a fallow deer was found bitten by an
unknown dog in the 14000 block
of Bellepoint Road.
Zachary A. Crump, 21, of Columbus was arrested in Marion
County for an
outstanding warrant issued by Union County today at 4:05 a.m.
Charges
are also pending against Crump for a syringe the deputy found in
the
back of the cruiser.

a.m. troopers arrested John Palm, 20, of Galloway for
operating a vehicle

outstanding warrant for contempt of court after being released from

unknown person made fraudulent purchases with her
credit card in Pennsylvania
totaling $1511.95.
A resident in the 500 block of North Main Street reported
that between 4
p.m. on Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday someone broke into her
home and
damaged some items.
A North Lewisburg resident reported his
ex-girlfriend dumped a blue
frozen drink in his car and left a threatening
voice mail while at a
restaurant on Delaware Avenue Thursday.
