3/30/07
According to police reports:
A West Ninth Street resident reported theft
Thursday at 11:13 a.m. after
his payroll check was stolen and cashed by a
male who lives at the same residence.
Thursday at 3:50 p.m. a resident in
the 300 block of Springwood Lane
reported that he lost his cell phone at an
unknown location.
Child endangering was reported Thursday at 5:57 p.m. after
residents in
the 700 block of West Fifth Street were reportedly having an
all-day,
loud party while children were in the residence.
A resident in
the 400 block of Ash Street reported Thursday at 8:40 p.m.
that her van had
been egged while parked at her residence.
Trespassing was reported Thursday
at 9:14 p.m. after a business employee
in the 200 block of East Fifth Street
observed a male looking around the
business with a flashlight.
Breaking
and entering was reported Friday at 2:19 a.m. after a vacant
building in the
15000 block of U.S. 36 East was found to be tampered
with. The front window
of the building was shattered and an entry was made.
According to sheriff
reports:
Joseph Hershberger, 35, of 15037 Bellepoint Road, was arrested on
two
counts of domestic violence Thursday. According to reports,
Hershberger
and his 38-year-old wife got into an argument that became
physical. The
victim reported she was struck numerous times in the face.
According to
reports, after Hershberger left for work, the victim checked
herself and
her 2-year-old daughter into the hospital at 2:30 p.m. The
victim
reported the child got in the middle of the confrontation and was
also
struck in the face.
3/29/07
According to police reports:
A resident in the 13000 block of Creekview Drive
reported criminal
mischief Wednesday at 4:11 p.m. after someone wrote "KKK"
in ketchup on
the sidewalk in front of her home.
Wednesday at 4:56 p.m. a
resident in the 1700 block of Creekview Drive
reported that someone made an
unauthorized charge to her debit account
in Atlanta totaling
$1,057.86.
According to sheriff's reports:
After recent reports of a
juvenile trying to pass off stolen collector's
coins in Marysville, a
resident on Commercial Street in Milford Center
discovered there were coins
of his missing. Deputies will be
investigating the theft with Marysville
police.
Steven Starks, 23, of Cable was cited for theft of a license
plate,
using fictitious tags, driving under suspension and failure to
display
after a traffic stop on Northwest Parkway at Bear Swamp Road Tuesday
at 8:48 a.m.
Deputies are investigating four juvenile females and one
juvenile male
after their vehicle was stopped when a passenger was hanging
out the
window, as if sick, Wednesday at 4:02 p.m. at Chestnut and
Sixth
streets. The juveniles were possibly smoking marijuana.
Breaking and
entering, theft and vandalism were reported after someone
broke into a
business in the 7000 block of Memorial Drive Monday at
11:22 a.m. Once
inside, suspects broke into a break room, damaged the
vending machine and
stole money.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 1800 block of Fawn Meadow
Drive reported Tuesday at
9:14 a.m. that someone used his ATM card and PIN
number out of state.
Tuesday at 9:29 a.m. it was reported that a 2-year-old
boy in the 600
block of West Fifth Street accidentally fell from a
second-floor window
into the bushes. The boy suffered scratches from the
fall, which was
caused by him sneaking out of an upstairs window. The parents
took the
child to the emergency room at Memorial Hospital of Union
County.
Prescription medication and loose change were reported stolen from
a
home in the 200 block of Windsor Drive Tuesday.
Someone reportedly
damaged the passenger outside mirror and the bed of
his truck parked in the
500 block of North Main Street Tuesday morning.
A resident in the 500 block
of Mill Wood Boulevard claimed to have
documented a disorderly conduct
incident on video from a person who
exposed his buttocks toward his camera
Tuesday at 1:18 p.m.
A purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the
1800 block of dear
Crossing Drive Tuesday.
William J. Vincent, 27, of 117
Northcrest Drive was arrested and charged
with domestic violence after an
argument with his live-in girlfriend
turned physical Tuesday at 3:37
p.m.
Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. a business in the 500 block of North Main
Street
reported that a man was seen trespassing in an abandoned trailer.
A
14-year-old male was arrested and charged with driving without a
license
after a traffic stop on Grove Street, between Eighth and Ninth
streets
Tuesday at 10:57 p.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Donald Lennex, 25,
of Columbus, was cited for possession of marijuana
and drug paraphernalia
after a traffic stop on U.S. 42 at Plain City
Tuesday at 9:45 a.m.
A total
of $95 in television cable and various items were stolen from a
porch on May
Street in Magnetic Springs Tuesday.
Employee files and other information were
reported stolen from a
business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 Tuesday at 1:04
p.m.
Tuesday at 3:08 p.m. the Union County Job and Family Services reported
a
possible sexual imposition case involving a 4-year-old female,
a
3-year-old male and a 5-year-old female. There is an adult male
suspect
who lives with the family in Leesburg Township.

According to police reports:
Crystal Goodson, 41, of 14000 Fels Blvd. was
arrested Monday at 6:56
a.m. for possession of a prescription medication,
unauthorized use of a
motor vehicle and driving under suspension after a
traffic stop on Kenny Lane.
Ryan D. Trout, 19, of 35 Woodcrest Drive was
cited for underage
possession of alcohol and having an open container of
alcohol after a
traffic stop on West Fifth Street Monday at 8:55 p.m.
Mail
was reportedly tampered with in the 300 block of West Fifth Street
over the
past few days.
An unknown male has recently been attempting to pay for items
in town
with collector coins. Police suspect that if the coins are stolen,
the
owners may not be aware yet, as no cases have been reported.
Residents
who believe they may be a victim are asked to contact the
police department.
According to sheriff's reports:
Embarq employees
reported that some 70 homes suffered phone problems
after someone shot
telephone boxes several times on Springdale Road in
Dover Township Monday.
The vandalism is currently under investigation.
Deputies are investigating a
trespassing and theft reported Monday at
11:44 p.m. in the 8000 block of
Corporate Boulevard. A man discovered
aluminum tubing had been stolen and
then saw a gray Ford truck drive
away from the area. He pursued the truck and
was able to identify its
license number. The case is under
investigation.

According to police reports:
Police investigated a possible explosion
reported to have occurred at
Lewis Park Sunday at 9:22 p.m. The explosion was
later determined to be unfounded.
Kevin Gabriel, 56, of Milford Center was
charged with disorderly conduct
after a fight in the Wal-Mart parking lot off
of Coleman's Crossing
Boulevard Sunday at 5:20 p.m. Gabriel got into a fight
with another
person, who he claimed was blocking traffic.
Someone broke
into a car parked in the 1300 block of Southard Road
Saturday and stole a
garage door opener.
Jared A. Kimble, 19, of Mingo was cited for underage
possession of
alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, and not wearing a
seat belt
Saturday at 12:31 a.m. after a traffic stop in Lewis Park. A
17-year-old
North Lewisburg male passenger was cited for curfew, possession
of drugs
and drug paraphernalia. Another 17-year-old passenger from
Champagne
County was cited for curfew.
A highly intoxicated male was found
in the alley behind Stephen's Lounge
off Main Street Friday at 10:43 p.m. He
was transported by medics to
Memorial Hospital of Union County for care.
A
resident in the 600 block of Milford Avenue reported Friday at 1:25
p.m. that
she was assaulted on West Ninth Street.
A resident in the 600 block of
Parkway Drive reported that a digital
camera and some loose change was stolen
from an unlocked car Sunday.
A total of four mailboxes were vandalized in the
14000 block of Southard
Road Sunday at 9:43 a.m.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Altunar Baltazar, 22, of Columbus was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, high blood alcohol level and driving without a
license.
Saturday at 5:47 a.m. a resident in the 19000 block of Springdale
Road
reported someone was parked in his driveway. Baltazar had pulled
into
the driveway and became stuck in the mud.
Jessica Ingram, 27, of
Milford Center was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, driving with
her headlights on bright and having
high blood alcohol levels. She was
stopped Sunday at 2:50 a.m. on West
State Street in Milford
Center.

According to police reports:
A resident in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive
reported Thursday at 7:31
p.m. a rear license plate had been stolen from a
vehicle.
A resident in the 600 block of Milford Avenue reported Thursday at
9:53
p.m. that a rock had been thrown through a window of the
home.
According to sheriff's reports:
Thursday at 12:10 p.m., a female in
the 9000 block of Warner Road
reported identity theft after being called by a
credit card company that
said she had signed up for a credit card, that she
said she did not
apply for. There was no monetary loss.
Thursday, a
January Road resident reported a theft after 12 pieces of
metal used to hold
up barricades were stolen. The estimated loss is $300.
A theft report was
filed Thursday at 8:35 p.m. after an El Camino Lane
resident noticed two
charges originating from Mexico appeared on her
bank statement. Less than
$100 was charged.
A resident in the 18000 block of Whitestone Road reported
criminal
damaging Friday at 1:05 a.m. after a mailbox had been vandalized.
The
estimated damage is $20.

a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop off London

for operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on U.S.

3/21/07
According to police reports:
Today at 3:10 a.m. it was reported that an
unknown person spray-painted
an obscene word on a garage door in the 600
block of West Third Street.
A resident in the 1000 block of Creekview Drive
reported that a neighbor
boy threw a large screwdriver into the door of her
camper Tuesday at
7:37 p.m. No charges were filed.
According to sheriff's
reports:
On Monday at 6 a.m. sheriff's investigators began looking into
possible
ongoing instances of gross sexual imposition regarding a 14
and
18-year-old female victims. The alleged crimes have been occurring
for
several years in homes in Jerome Township.
Brian Beaumont, 25, of
Richwood, was cited for disorderly conduct for
his behavior as a passenger in
a vehicle deputies pulled over on Paver
Barnes Road at Northwest Parkway
Tuesday at 10:22 p.m. Beaumont was
reportedly intoxicated.

According to police reports:
Amanda Hill, 26, of 18289 Boerger Road, was
cited for theft after taking
$165 worth of merchandise, including a DVD,
belts and miscellaneous
clothing, from Wal-Mart Supercenter Monday at 1:20
p.m.
Monday at 1:50 p.m. Union County Children's Services reported
the
possible sexual abuse of a 3-year-old Marysville male victim. The
report
is currently under investigation.
Two suspects were seen running
from a car parked in the 100 block of
Tulip Drive Monday at 10:50 p.m. A tire
on the car was discovered damaged.
A Marysville resident in the 100 block
of South Main Street reported on
Monday that someone used his credit card
account in California without permission.
On Thursday a resident in the
400 block of Raymond Road discovered a
rifle had been stolen from the home
sometime in October.
According to sheriff's reports:
A disabled 1990 Ford
Escort was reported stolen from the 28000 block of
Lunda Road sometime
between Thursday and Monday.
A resident in the 9000 block of Brock Road
reported that someone had
attempted to access their bank account on March 11
or 12. No money was taken.

3/19/07
According to sheriff's reports:
Brandon Bussard, 27, of Magnetic Springs was
charged with using weapons
while intoxicated and endangering children,
Saturday at 7 a.m. Deputies
responded to Park Street in Magnetic Springs
after residents reported
shots were fired inside a residence. The front door
was open at the
suspect's home and law enforcement found shell casings on the
ground and
Bussard slumped on a chair inside. He was highly intoxicated but
was
able to be awakened, although he repeatedly answered questions
with
"Roger that." He had fired his weapon several times into a wall,
causing
a large hole. His children were upstairs at the time.
Friday at
10:56 a.m. an employee of a business in the 16000 block of
Allen Center Road
reported that a man distracted him while a woman stole
a .22 caliber weapon
from the store.
Saturday at 3:52 a.m. deputies pulled over a vehicle for
speeding in the
25000 block of Lunda Road. The driver pulled his truck off
the road into
a field, jumped out and then fled on foot. The suspect had not
been
located at press time.
A fight that occurred Saturday at 2:43 a.m. on
West State Street is
under investigation for possible assault charges after a
43-year-old male was struck.
Sunday at 8:55 p.m. a business employee in
the 28000 block of Route 31
reported that a store he formerly did business
with has stolen $645 from his account.
According to police
reports:
Jeffrey Nevers, 26, of 1092 Watkins Glen Court was arrested Friday
at
10:40 p.m. for obstructing official police business, criminal
damaging
and endangering children during a dispute.
An unknown person
reportedly tried to break into an apartment by
tampering with the door handle
Saturday in the 200 block of Bridgewater
Drive. No entry was made to the
building.
William L. Wornstaff, 58, of 122 Birch Drive was arrested for
disorderly
conduct after he was found laying in the middle of North Main
Street
near North Main Motors Saturday at 2 p.m.
A house in the 500 block
of Mill Wood Boulevard and several vehicles
were struck with paint balls on
Sunday.
Eric B. Archer, 35, of 530 Meadows Drive was arrested for
one
fourth-degree felony domestic violence charge after allegedly
assaulting
his wife in a dispute Sunday at 11 a.m. at their home. Archer
had
previously been charged with domestic violence.
Assault charges are
pending against Lee Alderson, 38, of Richwood after
he allegedly struck
another man in a dispute at Lee Dog's Locker Room on
North Main Street in
Marysville Sunday at 2:13 a.m.
A 14-year-old female was cited for unruliness
after running away from
home Sunday at 3:23 p.m. in the 100 block of Hemlock
Drive.
A man claims he was assaulted during a custody exchange Sunday at
1:30
p.m. in the 600 block of Meadows Drive. Charges are under
investigation.
On Saturday a sexual offense was reported after a
Marysville male claims
he was sexually assaulted 10 years ago, when he was 5
or 6 years old.
A 17-year-old male was cited for unruliness after running
away from the
700 block of West Fourth Street.
A 1993 Ford F150 was stolen
from the 400 block of South Oak Street Friday.
Friday at 10:49 a.m. a
14-year-old female was cited for assault after
striking her mother's
boyfriend.
Prescription medication was reported stolen from a residence in
the 600
block of Milcrest Drive sometime between Wednesday and
Thursday.

According to police reports:
Thursday at 8:29 am. a business in the 900 block
of West Fifth Street
reported that a male suspect attempted to obtain
prescription medication
by using a fraudulent prescription.

Martin, 39, of 100 Bridgewater Drive, was arrested on a
contempt of court
warrant from Marysville Municipal Court Thursday at 11:04 a.m.
A resident
in the 400 block of Sycamore Street reported someone let the
air out of a
tire on a car Thursday.
A resident in the 900 block of London Avenue reported
finding suspicious
burns on the stomach of a 5-year-old female
Thursday.
Thursday at 3:45 p.m. a resident in the 200 block of West Fourth
Street
reported that her landlord shut off water to the residence. The
landlord
was directed to have the water turned back on and has
complied.
Thursday at 5:55 p.m. a resident in the 600 block of Meadows
Drive
reported that an unknown person stole the 30-day license tags to
his
Pontiac Grand Am.
A $25 silver CD radio face plate was reported stolen
from a car parked
in the 500 block of North Main Street. The owner of the
car reported
that this may be related to issues with family
members.
According to sheriff's reports:
David Alvarado, 24, of Richwood,
was charged with one count of
possession of drug paraphernalia after a
traffic stop in the 9000 block
of Industrial Parkway Thursday at 1:18
p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to the covered bridge on North Lewisburg
Road
after someone stole $436.36 in power hand tools from a tool trailer
on
the site Thursday morning.
A man called deputies to pick up possible
marijuana he found in his home
Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of
Fels Boulevard. The drugs
may be owned by one or more of his adult children.
Deputies recovered a
small amount of the drug and associated drug
paraphernalia. No charges
have been filed at this time.

According to police reports:
A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked car
parked in the 200 block
of Vine Street Wednesday.
Unknown suspects entered
a home in the 600 block of Kenny Lane through
an unlocked door and stole
numerous items from a bedroom Wednesday.

office:
Theft charges are pending in juvenile court against a 14-year-old
male
and a 14-year-old female who were found in possession of a wallet
stolen
out of a purse in the 11000 block of Route 38 Wednesday at 11
a.m.

According to police reports:
Tuesday at 10:45 p.m. a resident in the 200
block of West Eighth Street
reported someone had entered the house through an
unlocked door and
stole $2,000 in Xbox video game equipment.
On Tuesday
Donatos Pizza on Emmaus Drive reported the theft of cash
deposits from March
2.
A 14-year-old Marysville Middle School male reportedly exposed
himself
to a Marysville High School female while on a school bus ride on
March 2.
According to sheriff's reports:
No charges have been filed
after a man threatened another male with a
gun during a dispute Tuesday at
6:12 p.m. in the 13000 block of Route
347. The suspect then allegedly fired
the gun into the ground. When
deputies arrived, several people involved in
the argument did not wish
to file charges.
Deputies responded to a fight
on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs
Monday at 11:47 p.m. Two males
allegedly assaulted a 42-year-old male,
also pointing a small handgun at him.
No charges have been filed at this time.
After a traffic stop on Route 37
in Claibourne Township, deputies
discovered a prescription pill bottle
containing numerous other types of
medication. The bottle was confiscated and
charges are pending a
laboratory analysis.
A possible sexual offense
involving a 14-year-old male suspect and a
14-year-old female victim was
reported Friday at 1 p.m. from the 19000
block of Shirk Road.

According to police reports:
Adele Easterday, 50, of 175B Willow Drive, and
Danielle Klein, 30, of
20197 Cottonslash Road, were cited for disorderly
conduct after fighting
on Willow Drive Monday at 5:26 p.m.
A checkbook was
stolen from a locker at the YMCA on Charles Lane Monday at 11:41 a.m.
An
unknown person broke into a car parked in the 500 block of Amrine
Mill Road
Monday and stole stereo equipment.
On Monday it was reported that someone got
into the debit account of a
Pine Lane resident and made purchases out of
California.
A mother in the 18000 block of Timberlane Drive reported Sunday
at 4:23
p.m. that the father allegedly inappropriately touched their
3-year-old
child. The claim is under investigation.
Monday at 10:18 a.m. a
resident in the 500 block of West Ninth Street
reported her 6-year-old son
was inappropriately touched by their
20-year-old male neighbor sometime last
summer. The claim remains under investigation.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Deputies investigated a person who reportedly shot a dog in the
21000
block of Cottonslash Road Monday at around 7 p.m. The incident
was
reportedly accidental and no charges have been filed.
Sexual
imposition was reported Monday at 4:31 p.m. from the 23000 block
of Patrick
Brush Run Road, regarding a 12-year-old female victim and an undisclosed
suspect.

According to sheriff's reports:
A 9-year-old male reportedly shot himself in
the leg Saturday at 6:23
p.m. The juvenile and his father were out shooting a
.22-caliber rifle
at plastic bottles on their property in the 17000 block of
Waldo Road.
While loading his rifle, the juvenile accidentally shot himself
in the
leg and was transported for hospital care. Serious injuries were
not indicated.
Tuesday at 9:36 a.m. it was reported that numerous
electrical equipment
items, gas tanks and torches were stolen from a workshop
in the 15000
block of Boundary Road sometime in the past month.
Adam Hall,
23, of Plain City, was cited with domestic violence and
criminal damaging
after an argument with family in the 9000 block of
Warner Road Friday at
12:49 a.m.
Deputies are investigating a possible sex offense involving a
15-year
female and an 18-year-old male possibly having sexual relations in
the
23000 block of Cottage Street in Broadway Saturday at 3:20 p.m.
Two
compound bows, valued at $1,100, were stolen sometime between 6:30
p.m. and
9:20 p.m. in the 13000 block of Route 47 Sunday during a cookout.
Deputies
received reports that two cars were struck with eggs, while
driving in the
13000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive Sunday at 4:09 a.m.
No damage was listed
from either event.
Stephen Travis, 25, of South Vienna, was charged with
possession of
marijuana after a traffic stop Sunday at 4:20 a.m. on Route 4
at
Shortees Road. He was the passenger in the vehicle.
According to police
reports:
An 11-year-old male was charged with vehicular
vandalism/delinquency
after throwing a rock at an SUV window on East Tenth
Street Friday at 5
p.m. The rock smashed the window, causing glass to fly
onto a
one-month-old infant in the back seat.
Susan Kindler, 34, of
Milford Center, was arrested Saturday at 12:50
a.m. for operating a vehicle
intoxicated after a traffic stop in the
westbound lanes of U.S. 33.
Roy B.
Heflin, 48, of Plain City, was arrested Saturday at 2:30 a.m. for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes
after a traffic stop
on Allenby Drive.
Jeffrey Martinez, 21, of Vandalia, was arrested Friday at
10:59 p.m. for
outstanding felony warrants out of Montgomery County.
Tires
were reportedly slashed on a car parked in the 200 block of North
Plum Street
Friday afternoon.
A car was "keyed" in the 1300 block of Valley Drive
sometime over Sunday morning.

26, of 1941 Creekview Drive, was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated
after a traffic stop Saturday at 12:26 a.m. at Sixth
and Chestnut
streets.
Kara Lewis, 23, of Plain City was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated on Route 161 Saturday at 2:22 a.m.
Sunday at 3:22 a.m.
Dustin Oliver, 24, of Florida, was arrested for
operating a vehicle
intoxicated and possession of marijuana after a
traffic stop on Scottslawn
Road at U.S. 33.

According to police reports:
Thursday at 9:39 a.m. a Marysville High School
student reported that her
ex-boyfriend, also a student, assaulted her.
A
Grove Court resident reported Thursday at 11:38 a.m. that her
boyfriend took
her debit cards and removed $300 from her bank account
without
permission.
An employee at a business in the 300 block of Gables Drive
reported
Thursday at 1:36 p.m. that someone stole her engagement ring while
she was at work.
A business in the 15000 block of Watkins Road reported
Thursday at 4:21
p.m. that it had received a check in the amount of $660.14
that was
returned for non-sufficient funds. The same business also
reported
receiving a check for $470.82 from an account that had been
closed.
Susan Y. Kindler, 34, of Milford Center, was arrested and charged
with
OVI following a traffic stop on U.S. 33 at Route 31 on Thursday at
12:47 a.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Monday at 1 p.m. a resident
in the 17000 block of Waldo Road reported
paying for services at a business
that have to be completed. The report
is under investigation.
Chris Cone,
21, of Richwood was cited for driving with an open container
of alcohol and
driving under suspension after a traffic stop Thursday at
9:41 p.m. on Route
4 at Kinney Pike Road.
Prescription medication was reported stolen Thursday
at 5:30 p.m. from a
car parked in the lot outside the Union County
Commissioner's offices.
3/8/07
According to police reports:
A resident in the 600 block of Wood Run Drive
reported Wednesday
suspicious charges to her bank account made from New
Jersey.
Wednesday at 2:28 p.m. a Marysville High School student's cell phone
was
reported stolen at the school.
A business in the 1100 block of Charles
Lane reported someone allegedly
forged a prescription Wednesday at 5:55
p.m.
According to sheriff's reports:
Robert Pryzmenski, 55, of 1463
Hickory Gate Drive was arrested for
operating a vehicle intoxicated and
having high blood alcohol
concentration levels. Wednesday at 10:40 p.m. a
resident in the 21000
block of Sabine Bigelow Road discovered a man driving
an SUV around the
dirt horse track on his property. He tried flagging the
driver down to
stop, but the man refused. When deputies arrived the man
continued to
drive around the track, but finally agreed to stop. It was
then
discovered he was intoxicated.
A resident on Railroad Street in
Unionville Center reported Tuesday at
2:52 p.m. that someone had charged $255
to his bank account without permission.
Boyd Sumner, 51, of Delaware was
arrested Tuesday at 7:32 p.m. for
possession of marijuana, with other charges
pending lab results. Sumner
was stopped by a deputy on Catherine Street in
Magnetic Springs.
The Department of Human Services reported a possible sex
offense
Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The sheriff's office received a call from
a
Marysville High School guidance counselor regarding a 15-year-old
male
who was overheard bragging about having sexual relations with
a
9-year-old female family member. The report remains under
investigation.
A car was possibly stolen from the area of U.S. 33 at
Route 161
Wednesday at 9:59 p.m. The driver was having car troubles and
pulled
over in that area at around 6 p.m. He returned later that night and
the
car was gone.
According to OSP reports:
One person was injured in a
two-car crash Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.
Driver Amy Borham, 34, of 17123 Route
347 was headed south on Route 31.
Driver Erin Sharp Cooper, 31, of 17323 Bear
Swamp was headed east on
Wheeler-Green Road when she failed to stop at the
posted sign. Borham
swerved to avoid the vehicle and went off the right side
of the roadway
into a ditch. Her passenger Cody Borham, 13, of the same
address
suffered minor visible injuries and was transported by Liberty
Township
medics to Memorial Hospital of Union County.

According to police reports:
Police responded with the Department of Human
Services for a child
neglect report filed Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. An 8-year-old
female had
allegedly been left alone at a Marysville residence for an
unspecified
length of time that day. The case is currently under
investigation.
A business in the 300 block of Mill Creek Drive reported that
an unknown
person stole 10 prepaid cell phones Tuesday.
Burglary was
reported Tuesday at 6:12 p.m. after a resident in the 700
block of Milcrest
Drive discovered someone stole a $160 cell phone and a
debit card off the
kitchen table.
Theft was reported Tuesday after a resident in the 600 block
of Watkins
Glen Boulevard discovered a $300 unauthorized charge was made to
his
credit card account.
A $250 Apple Ipod music player was stolen from a
vehicle parked in the
1000 block of Collins Drive Tuesday.
According to
sheriff's reports:
James Arms, 62, of 207 Tulip Drive, was cited for failure
to stop for a
school bus stop sign. On Tuesday at 5:31 p.m. a North Union
school bus
driver reported the crime had occurred on Route 4 at Neel Road
and
information led to Arms' citation.
Possible delinquency domestic
violence charges are pending against a
12-year-old male after he reportedly
held his mother's wrists and
slapped her in the face during an argument
Tuesday at 7:53 p.m. in the
27000 block of Lunda Road. The juvenile was taken
to the Central Ohio
Youth Center until charges are filed.
Charles Lambert,
58, of Richwood, was arrested for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and
speeding Tuesday at 8:25 p.m. A witness reported to
deputies that someone
possibly intoxicated was speeding down Route 37 on
the way to Essex.
A
resident in the 10000 block of Shields Road reported Tuesday at 11:07
a.m.
that numerous incidents of trespassing have been occurring on his
property.
Over the last several days someone has been leaving gates
open, disrupting
items and letting dogs out of pens. Nothing has been reported stolen.
A
landlord reported theft after a tenant bought $391.92 in propane and
charged
it under his name without permission Tuesday on Mill Park
Drive.

According to police reports:
A student at Marysville High School reported
Monday at 5:14 p.m. that
someone had stolen his Ipod music device from his
unlocked locker.
Sometime over the past week a fifth wheel hitch was stolen
from a pickup
truck parked on Hickory Drive.
Numerous items were reported
missing from a car parked in the 18000
block of Timber Lane Monday
morning.
A rental heater was reported stolen from a business in the 1200
block of
West Fifth Street Monday.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Possible check forgery was reported Sunday at 1:52 p.m. from a
person in
the 8000 block of Long Road. A check was discovered cashed out
of
sequence and a laptop computer was missing.
Richard Gillespie, 42, of
Ostrander, was cited for possession of an open
container of alcohol after a
traffic stop on Main Street in Magnetic
Springs Monday at 9:42 p.m.
Daryl
C. McQuown, 18, of Richwood, was cited for possession of marijuana
and drug
paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Route 37 at Boundary Road
today at 1:51
a.m. He was the passenger in the vehicle.

According to sheriff's reports:
Matthew W. Perry, 41, of 10220 U.S. 42 Room
130, was arrested at his
American Inn Hotel room Thursday at 7:53 a.m. for a
second-degree felony
charge of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented
material or
performance and on an outstanding drug paraphernalia charge out
of
Marysville Municipal Court.
Deputies performed a routine license plate
check on a vehicle parked at
the hotel and discovered Perry was wanted on a
warrant out of
Marysville. When confronted in his hotel room, there was also
a
17-year-old female out of London in the room with him.
Perry said he
wanted to contact his attorney and when the deputy made
the call to the
attorney on Perry's phone, nude pictures of the
17-year-old female were found
on the phone. A search warrant was
obtained to search the contents of the
cell phone and evidence is being
analyzed for charges.
During transport
from the scene, deputies also found possible marijuana
being held by the
17-year-old female and drug possession charges are
pending against
her.
Sometime over Thursday night and Friday morning someone reportedly
fired
a weapon from the roadway and broke out a window at a home in the
14000
block of County Home Road. Some $325 in damages were caused to
the
window and a computer monitor. The vandalism is under investigation.
A
business in the 7500 block of Industrial Parkway reported Friday that
an
employee may have used the company credit card to make purchases at a
home
improvement store.
Three cars were vandalized on Industrial Parkway Friday.
All of the cars
had similar scratches, caused by an unknown
person.
According to police reports:
A 14-year-old male middle school
student was found with alcohol at
school Friday at 11 a.m. Charges were
filed.
A West Fifth Street pharmacy reported attempted breaking and
entering
Friday at 8:03 p.m. An electric meter had been pulled off a back
wall.
When police arrived, the intruder fled on foot.
Donald Sine, 29, of
North Lewisburg, was arrested Saturday at 1:28 a.m.
for OVI during a traffic
stop on Olive Street.
Walter C. Floyd, 43, of 215 Windsor Manor, was arrested
Saturday at 2:11
a.m. for OVI and driving under suspension during a traffic
stop on
London Avenue. An investigation regarding suspected crack
possession
with the alleged defendant is pending.
A resident in the 600
block of Rainbow Drive reported Saturday at 9:59
a.m. that the rear tires on
her daughter's car had been slashed.
A resident in the 500 block of Meadows
Drive reported child abuse
Saturday at 6:59 p.m. after it appeared her
1-year-old daughter had been
physically abused. Children's Services was
notified.
Sunday at 3 a.m., criminal damaging was reported after the tires
on
several vehicles had been slashed in the 700 block of Collins
Avenue.
George Hoyt, 28, of 218 W. Fourth St., was arrested Sunday at 7:38
p.m.
at a traffic stop for driving while under suspension.
Mickey J.
Fyffe, 20, of 387 North Sycamore Street, North Lewisburg, was
arrested Sunday
at 7:04 a.m. for assault and domestic violence after a
fight with his
girlfriend in the 700 block of Milcrest Drive.
Additionally, Tony Crabtree,
25, of 727 Milcrest Drive, was arrested for
obstructing official business and
resisting arrest when he interfered
with evidence collection in the related
domestic violence. Crabtree
allegedly struggled with officers until he was
controlled with a Taser.

According to sheriff's reports:
Numerous young men were arrested after
allegedly attempting to break
into a business in the 18000 block of Main
Street in Broadway Wednesday at 2:40 a.m.
Reports show that a witness in
the area heard a loud crash coming from
the business and saw people running
from the building, who then got into
a van and drove off. Registration and a
description of the van were
provided to deputies, who soon located the
vehicle on Route 4 at Route
347 and stopped it. The business reportedly had a
smashed broken glass door.
As a result of the initial investigation,
suspects were identified as
Johnathan M. Vandall, 21, of Delaware, who was
charged with breaking and
entering, possessing criminal tools and Justyn T.
Ruggles, 19, of 45
Butternut Drive was charged with complicity; Christopher
B. Wolfe, 19,
of 45 Butternut Drive, was charged with complicity; Derek
Kristopher
Weeks, 18, of 45 Butternut Drive, was charged with complicity;
and
Joshua Courtney, 18, of 45 Butternut Drive was charged with
complicity.
Deputies reported that more charges are pending further
investigation.
Cash was reported stolen from a car parked in the 15000 block
of
Bellepoint Road Wednesday at 9:21 p.m.
Allen L. Wells, 55, of 33013
Fields Road was cited for driving with an
open container of alcohol after a
traffic stop on Route 31 at Route 47
Wednesday at 8:28 p.m.
Thursday at
1:07 p.m. possible child abuse was reported after a
2-year-old male was
brought to Memorial Hospital of Union County with
burn injuries to the
hand.
According to police reports:
Gerald J. Shonebarger, 25, of 161
Northcrest Drive was arrested today at
1:08 a.m. for operating a vehicle
intoxicated and running a stop sign
after a traffic stop on Columbus
Avenue.
Kyle Caldwell, 27, of 603 Kenny Lane was arrested on an
outstanding
warrant from Marysville Municipal Court Wednesday at 6:20
p.m.
A 16-year-old female and a 15-year-old male were reported to be in
a
fight at their home in the 200 block of Bridgewater drive Wednesday
at 7:50 p.m.
A resident in the 500 block of North Main Street reported
Thursday at
3:06 p.m. that several items had been stolen from her home.
A
business in the 200 block of East Fifth Street reported Thursday at
4:16 p.m.
that someone damaged some electrical equipment on the property.
Possible
child abuse was reported from a Mt. Victory resident Thursday
at 4:25 p.m. A
child the person was baby-sitting may have signs of
abuse. The Union County
Department of Children Services was notified.
Unknown suspects attempted to
break into a home in the 200 block of
Tulip Drive by bending a screen window
Thursday.
An employee in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 may have been
making
fraudulent refunds to herself in a theft reported Thursday at 9:10
p.m.
