9/28/07
According to sheriff's reports:
Thursday at 1:24 a.m. deputies were called to
the 21000 block of
Springdale Road after a man reported a woman he met took
his car without
permission. The woman reportedly drove the car to Delaware,
where she
was located by local police. She told officers that she took the
car
because she was being held against her will and was escaping. The
car
was then towed back to Springdale Road.
However, when the man who
reported his car was taken drove up on his
motorcycle to meet deputies, he
was moving unsteadily on his feet. As a
result, Christopher Hassinger, 26, of
21238 Springdale Road was arrested
for operating a vehicle
intoxicated.
Deputies are still investigating the charges for unlawful
restraint of
the woman and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle report.
Wednesday
at 4:58 p.m. a sheriff's deputy found a handgun along the roadway
on
U.S. 33 at Route 245. The weapon had not been listed as lost or
stolen.
Seth Weaver, 20, of Marion was cited for possession of marijuana
after a
traffic stop on Route 4 at Route 347 Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
Passenger
Josh Miller, 20, of Marion was also cited for possession of
drug paraphernalia.
According to police reports:
A witness called today
at 12:12 a.m. to report two men who were
approaching an apartment in the 600
block of Meadows Drive and one had a
handgun. The suspects had left in a van
and were soon located by police.
A handgun was recovered from the vehicle. No
charges have been filed at
this time and the incident remains under
investigation.
The handgun case may be tied to a burglary report filed today
at 12:15
a.m. in which a resident in the 500 block of North Main Street
reported
forced entry into his residence and medication was stolen.
A
resident in the 200 block of Greenwood Boulevard reported that several
items
were missing from her apartment after she had carpeting
installed Thursday.
In the 600 block of Gallop Lane a resident reported
Thursday that
unknown suspects spray painted offensive graffiti on his house
in yellow paint.
A business in the 16000 block of Square Drive reported
Thursday that a
person was handing out flyers on the property on Wednesday.
The suspect
was asked to leave.

Sharon Swain,
35, of Springfield was cited for driving under suspension
after a traffic
stop on Route 4 today at 1:31 a.m.
9/27/07
According to sheriff's reports:
The final portion of a string of car thefts
that occurred Tuesday in
Union County was filled in this morning by sheriff's
deputies.
When the male and female suspects stole a vehicle from Carroll Auto
in
Marysville, the two also stole a temporary license plate tag from
a
vehicle parked in the Union County Commissioners parking lot on
West
Sixth Street. The item was stolen sometime between 11:58 a.m. and
3:20
p.m. Tuesday. The tags were later found located on the vehicle
stolen
from Marysville, which had been left behind when the thieves
stole
another vehicle in Richwood.
From there, the suspects drove the car
from Richwood back to Delaware.
Law enforcement officials from Union and
Delaware counties continue their investigation.
Three storage units were
broken into by cutting locks in the 20000 block
of Northwest Parkway Tuesday
night. Deputies are currently contacting
the owners of the units to determine
any thefts.
A burglary was reported Wednesday which occurred sometime between
9 a.m.
and 1:30 p.m. in the 10000 block of Tawa Road. A total of $16,000
in
jewelry, a camcorder and a laptop computer were taken.
According to
police reports:
A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were fighting at
Marysville
High School Wednesday at 12:14 p.m. Both were charged with
disorderly conduct.
A resident in the 700 block of Kenny Lane reported
Wednesday at 6:11
p.m. that a suspected person stole his rings and used his
credit card without permission.
A resident in the 600 block of Gallop Lane
reported that he came home
and saw that someone had painted graffiti on his
garage door Wednesday.

Marysville Police
Department reportedly made the arrest of Mark Wilder,
40, of 70 Red Pine
Drive, Wednesday on Industrial Parkway. Wilder was
wanted by Ohio State
Highway Patrol for a seat belt violation issued by
Champaign County.
9/26/07
According to police reports:
A resident in the 500 block of East Sixth Street
reported a chain saw,
weed eater and a leaf blower, were stolen from the bed
of his truck
Tuesday.
Mac Davidson, 21, of 735 W. Fifth St. Apt. B was
arrested Tuesday at
4:21 p.m. on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear
in court for
an underage consumption of alcohol charge.
A resident in the
400 block of West Third Street reported that an
unknown person stole
medication and CDs from her car sometime on Sunday.
An Xbox game system
was reported stolen from a residence in the 500
block of North Main Street
Tuesday.
According to sheriff's reports:
A 15-year-old male was taken to
the Central Ohio Youth Center for being
unruly at the Memorial Hospital of
Union County Tuesday at 8 a.m.
A total of $13,000 was reported stolen from a
Route 4 resident's bank
account sometime between Aug. 17 and
Tuesday.
According to OSP reports:
Gary Bias, 46, of Columbus was arrested
today at 12:35 a.m. for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop
on U.S. 33.
9/25/07
According to police reports:
An officer was called to the Emergency Room of
Memorial Hospital of
Union County for a suspicious bruising to a 9-year-old
female today at
12:45 a.m. The incident is currently under
investigation.
William L. Laycox, 39, of Fairfield was arrested for driving
with a
suspended license on Delaware Avenue Monday at 4:10
a.m.
Miscellaneous food items were smashed into the front porch of
a
residence in the 400 block of Palm Drive overnight Saturday.
Criminal
damaging was reported after a screen was cut on a home in the
300 block of
Retreat Lane Monday.
Several items were stolen from a car parked in the 800
block of West
Sixth Street Monday.
According to sheriff's reports:
No
charges were filed in a report of a violation of a temporary
protection order
filed Monday at 5:52 p.m. from the 27000 block of
Kinney Pike Road.
A
total of $700 was illegally charged onto a debit card from a victim in
the
9000 block of Monterey Drive Monday.
The Union County Department of Human
Services is investigating a
domestic violence/child abuse report filed Monday
at 10:30 p.m. Deputies
were called to investigate the abuse of an infant
child in the 11000
block of U.S. 36 East. No evidence of abuse was found and
the case was
referred to DHS.
Deputies were called for a suicide threat in
the 16000 block of Martin
Welch Road today after midnight. The wife of the
residence admitted to
making statements and admitted herself into the
Memorial Hospital of
Union County for evaluation.

Aaron Hubbard, 19, of 1160 W. Fifth St., was
arrested on a warrant for
failure to appear in court for an underage drinking
charge Friday at 10:28 a.m.
Burglary was reported at a home in the 500
block of Allenby Drive
Friday. Numerous items were stolen and the incident is
under investigation.
Another burglary was reported Friday after a garage
in the 1700 block of
Creekview Drive was broken into sometime between Sept.
12 and 14.
Carl Miller, Jr., 45, of 548 N. Main St., was arrested for
aggravated
menacing Friday at 5:33 p.m. after threatening three juveniles
with a
machete in the 500 block of North Main Street.
Jeffrey Hunter, 28,
of 231 1/2 W. Fourth St. was arrested in the 100
block of East Sixth Street
on a warrant for failure to appear in court
for a disorderly conduct charge
Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Delwyn K. Johnson, 29, no address, was arrested Friday at
10:22 p.m. for
possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant issued by
Franklin County
Sheriff's Office for a drug offense after a traffic stop in
the 1000
block of West Fifth Street.
Michael P. Napier, 30, of 623 E.
Fifth St. was arrested for domestic
violence after a woman reported being
assaulted at his home Saturday at 2:15 a.m.
Numerous items were stolen
from an unlocked car parked in the 2000 block
of Fawn Meadow Drive
Saturday.
A woman reported that she injured her foot after she fell into a
manhole
in the 400 block of West Seventh Street Saturday at 4:03
p.m.
Police were contacted about 8:11 p.m. Sunday and informed that at
some
point after 5 p.m. Friday, an item had been taken from an
unlocked
vehicle in the 1800 block of Chip Rock Drive.
A resident in the
1500 block of Meadowlark Lane reported at about 8:44
p.m. Sunday, that
someone apparently tried to gain entry into their home
sometime after 5 p.m.
Wednesday.
A missing juvenile was found at a home in Broadway. The
16-year-old boy
was reported missing at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, when he did not
return to
his home in the 200 block of East Sixth Street.
A marital
dispute resulted in a damaged door at a home in the 2000 block of Belmont
Drive.
Cory Lewis, 29, of 730 Meadows Drive, and Dustin Lewis, 31, of
Sunbury,
were both arrested at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, charged with disorderly
conduct
for fighting in 100 block of North Main Street.
Barbara Ruffing,
43, of 680 Meadows Drive, was arrested for disorderly
conduct following a
call for service to her home regarding verbal abuse.
Crystal Goodson, 42,
of 14000 Fels Blvd., was arrested at 2:47 a.m.
Sunday, charged with operating
a vehicle intoxicated, driving under
suspension and possession of drugs.
Police were contacted and advised of
the woman driving while honking her horn
in the 400 block of Windmill
Drive. Goodson was driving a vehicle that was
supposedly stolen from Milford Center.
A bicycle was reported stolen from
in front of a business in the 100
block of North Main Street. Police took the
report at 1:10 p.m. Sunday,
but the bicycle was apparently taken Saturday
evening. About four hours
after the first report, police received another
call of a second bicycle
taken in the same area, within the hour.
A
business in the 100 block of North Cherry Street reported at 3:11
p.m.
Sunday, that someone pumped fuel and failed to pay for it.
Police
responded to a verbal dispute in the 1800 block of Fawn Meadow
Drive. The
argument between a woman and her estranged husband was
reported at 3:47 p.m.
Sunday.
A small fire was set about 6:44 p.m. Sunday, inside a silo on
Creekview
Drive. Police located a pair of juveniles at the scene. No charges
have been filed.
Daniel Hall, 44, and Ryan Brett Hart, 18, both of 277
Caddie Drive, were
arrested about 7:52 p.m. Sunday. Both men were charged
with disorderly
conduct after police were called to the residence regarding a
dispute
between the stepfather and the stepson.
A resident in the 600
block of Meadows Drive reported at 9:28 p.m.
Sunday that she was being
harassed over the phone by a known subject.
According to sheriff's
reports:
Multiple breaking and entering reports were filed Friday morning
from a
storage unit facility in the 20000 block of Northwest Parkway. A
total
of seven units were entered and numerous tools and stereo equipment
were
stolen. The thefts remain under investigation.
Friday at 12:15 p.m. a
resident in the 31000 block of Route 31 reported
a former mail carrier may
have stolen gift cards from him in December
2006. The theft report remains
under investigation.;
Roger Harney, 38, of Magnetic Springs, was arrested for
operating a
vehicle intoxicated, possession of marijuana and drug
paraphernalia,
having an open container of alcohol inside his car, speeding
and
numerous charges for driving under suspension. He was stopped
Saturday
at 1:45 a.m. on Route 347 at Sandusky Road.
Ryan Piper, 25, of
19804 Route 245, was arrested Saturday at 2 a.m. for
operating a vehicle
intoxicated and driving outside of marked lanes
after a traffic stop in the
1000 block of West Fifth Street.
Anthony Cardine, 25, of 13219 Beecher Gamble
Road, was arrested for
domestic violence, unlawful restraint of a person, and
criminal mischief
Saturday at 10:59 a.m. He was reportedly involved in a
fight with his
live-in girlfriend at his home, which became physical. The
woman
reported that she tried to leave, but Cardine had damaged her engine
so
the car wouldn't start. When she left on foot he allegedly pursued
her
in his car and forced her inside. He eventually let her out at
her mother's house.
The interior doors to a church in the 7000 block of
Waldo Road were
damaged in an attempted breaking and entering Saturday.
Suspects tried
to force entry into an office, but were not
successful.
According to OSP reports:
Tyler Wagner, 16, of 22975 Holy
Cross Epps Road, was injured in a crash
that occurred Sunday at 3:54 a.m. on
U.S. 33 at Route 4. Wagner was
headed west on U.S. 33 when he lost control
and went off the left side
of the road, struck a guardrail and stopped in the
median. He reportedly
left the scene and was later transported to St. Ann's
Hospital in a
private vehicle. Wagner was cited for failure to control his
vehicle.
Ryan Brasheres, 24, of 16435 County Home Road, was arrested
for
operating a vehicle intoxicated after a traffic stop on U.S. 33
Saturday at 3:39 a.m.
9/21/07
According to police reports:
At 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, a resident in the 300
block of Calvary Drive
reported receiving unwanted phone calls.
Latisha J.
Calkins-Reed was arrested at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday and charged
with one count
of driving under suspension following a traffic stop on
Collins Avenue at
Maple Street.
Christopher A. Cowen, 22, of 608 Meadow Drive, was arrested at
4:10 a.m.
Thursday and charged with driving under suspension, failure to obey
a
traffic device and expired operator's license after a traffic stop
on
Route 31 at Mill Road.
A resident in the 500 block of East Sixth Street
reported to police at
6:48 a.m. Thursday that an X-box 360 game system and a
flat screen
monitor were taken from her home.
A resident of the 500 block
of Meadows Drive reported to police at 8:41
a.m. Thursday that someone wiped
an unidentified substance on her back door.
Units responded to a
construction site in the 2100 block of Silver Spur
Drive at 9:38 a.m. An
unknown person burnt a small fire in the basement
of one of the homes under
construction. No damage was done to the home.
From sheriff's reports:
A
resident reported at 7:40 p.m. Monday that he made a court
ordered
restitution payment to a business in the 18000 block of Main Street
in
Broadway. He said his payment was $60 more than it should have been.
The
business returned the money to the man.
Units responded to a call at
8:24 a.m., Thursday, to a home in the 16000
block of Martin Welch Road in
Taylor Township in reference to an unruly
juvenile. The 14-year-old was
transported to the Central Ohio Youth
Center and charges are pending.
An
employee of a business in the 21000 block of Route 739 notified
law
enforcement officials at 3:27 p.m. Thursday that she was
receiving
harassing phone calls from her estranged husband at her place
of employment.
Pamela Jean Lambert, 59, of 12947 Route 739, was arrested
at 11:16 p.m.,
Thursday and charged with one count of persistent disorderly
conduct, a
misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Units were called to the home
in
reference to a domestic disturbance.

According to sheriff's reports:
Brett Michael White, 26, of 438 Allenby
Drive, was arrested Wednesday
for violating a protection order issued by
Madison County. He was
stopped for a traffic violation on Milford Avenue at
2:57 p.m. and his
passenger was the person listed in the protection
order.
According to police reports:
Domestic violence was investigated
between a 15-year-old female and her
mother Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. in the 100
block of Northcrest Drive.
A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Avenue
reported receiving
harassing phone calls Wednesday.
Unauthorized
withdrawals were reportedly made from a Kenny Lane
resident's checking
account Wednesday.
A resident on Grove Street reported receiving a UPS
envelope containing
three fraudulent checks Wednesday.
Wednesday at 1:49
p.m. a resident in the 400 block of Ash Street
reported that three of his
payroll checks were taken from his car.
A $100 DVD player, $5 in change and
possibly gasoline were stolen from a
car parked in the 200 block of Sorenson
Drive Wednesday.

According to sheriff's reports:
A 14-year-old male is expected to be charged
with juvenile domestic
violence and aggravated vehicular assault after he
became unruly Tuesday
at 9:22 p.m. at his home in the 10000 block of Ketch
Road. The male
began verbally and physically assaulting his step-mother and
her
daughter, then reportedly started a car on the property and
attempted
to run the mother over.
As a result, she was transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County
for treatment and the male was also
transported there for a physical and
mental evaluation. He was later arrested
and transported to Central Ohio
Youth Center, where he is expected to be
charged today.
A utility trailer, valued at $1,114.98, was stolen from a
business in
the 19000 block of Northwest Parkway sometime on Thursday or
Friday.
A 14-year-old male was reported as being unruly in the 16000 block
of
Martin Welch Road Tuesday at 7:38 p.m. after he had reportedly
thrown
objects in the home. The incident remains under investigation.
Two
juveniles were reportedly being unruly in the 16000 block of Church
Street in
New Dover Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A 16-year-old female reportedly
kicked out a
window on the front door and a 14-year-old male was being
abusive to his
parents.

Child endangering was reported
Tuesday after a resident in the 400 block
of Windmill Drive reported that a
toddler-age child was walking on Links
Drive with no adult supervision
Tuesday at 10:44 a.m. Officers
discovered that the child's older brother, who
had been watching him,
had fallen asleep. The child had opened the door and
walked away.
A resident in the 1600 block of Millington Way reported that her
Ipod
was stolen at Marysville High School Tuesday before 8 a.m.
Another
Ipod was stolen from a car parked in the 400 block of Emmaus
Drive
Tuesday.
A Marysville bus driver reported a dispute between two students
to
police Tuesday at 9 a.m.
A wallet left on a front passenger seat
overnight was stolen from an
unlocked car parked in a driveway on Apple Drive
Tuesday. Also stolen
was $35 in cash, which was inside the wallet.
A known
person may have stolen a digital camera from a residence in the
200 block of
Stocksdale Drive Tuesday.
On Tuesday at 1:17 p.m. a resident in the 1700
block of Millington Way
reported that a neighbor allows their dogs to bark
constantly.
The trunk of a car was pried open, damaging the latch Tuesday in
the 500
block of Allenby Drive. The suspect also attempted to pry open
the passenger door.
A resident in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Boulevard
reported Tuesday
that his ex-wife attempted suicide.
A $125 game system
was stolen from a from a car parked in the 600 block
of Rainbow Drive
Tuesday.
According to OSP reports:
Rod Lucas, 28, of Hamersville was
arrested today at 1:30 a.m. after a
traffic stop on U.S. 33. Lucas was wanted
on a felony warrant issued by
Clermont County.
9/18/07
According to sheriff's reports:
On Monday at 3:35 p.m. deputies went to the
8000 block of Corporate
Boulevard for a telecommunications harassment report.
A business in the
area received some threats over the fax machine. No charges
have been
filed at this point, although a suspect is being
investigated.
Monday at 4:53 p.m. prescription medication was stolen from a
residence
in the 21000 block of North Darby Coe Road.
At 6:57 p.m. on
Monday deputies responded to a home in the 13000 block
of Leeper Perkins Road
for a woman who was threatening suicide. At the
home, deputies found the
36-year-old woman being restrained by another
resident. The woman was then
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union
County for evaluation.
According
to police reports:
A person stole gasoline at an Allenby Drive station on
Monday at 5:27 a.m.
A GPS system was stolen out of a car parked in the 110
block of Valley Drive Monday.
A boat was stolen from a fishing club on
Northwest parkway sometime since July.
Police are investigating a criminal
damaging incident after a man
reportedly punched a hole in the wall after he
was fired from a business
on Coleman's Crossing Boulevard Monday at 1:19
p.m.
Cash and CDs were stolen from a car parked in the 1100 block of
Nutmeg
Drive overnight Sunday.
The Union County Department of Human
Services is investigating a child
abuse report, after a child had allegedly
been punched in the leg
several times in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive
Monday at 10:06 p.m.
Burglary was reported Monday at 10:24 p.m. after someone
entered a home
in the 1200 block of Valley Drive and stole a purse. The item
was later
recovered in a pond with the contents stolen.
Items were stolen
out of a car in the 300 block of Gables Drive Monday.

9/17/07
According to sheriff's reports:
Units responded to the 18000 block of
Whitestone Road at 4:22 p.m.
Friday. The resident told deputies she paid a
company with a check. The
company then lost the check.
Deputies responded
to a call in the 24000 block of Darby-Pottersburg
Road at 6:43 p.m. Friday.
The residents told deputies their 15-year-old
son was out of control and had
caused damage to their home. The parents
also said the son had taken several
unknown pills. Family members had to
restrain the son until deputies arrived.
The boy was transported to
Memorial Hospital of Union County for physical and
mental evaluation. No
charges have been files, though none have been
filed.
Units were dispatched to the 12000 block of state Route 739 at 9:14
p.m.
Sunday, on a report of a theft. The resident said an unknown
person
forcibly entered his garage and a car in his garage. The person took
a
car stereo, valued at $280.
A resident in the 13000 block of Adams Road
contacted the sheriff's
office at 8:23 p.m. Friday in reference to a theft.
The man said charges
he did not make, totaling $305, were placed on his debit
card. The case
remains under investigation buy the sheriff's office and the
man's financial institution.
Units were dispatched to the 20000 block of
Springdale Road at 11:33
a.m. Saturday. The complainant stated that someone
drove through his
freshly planted wheat field, causing damage. The case
remains under investigation.
John Wilson, 43, of 723 S. Walnut St., in
Marysville, was arrested
Saturday at 4:32 p.m. He is charged with possession
of drug
paraphernalia, a first-degree misdemeanor, possession of marijuana,
a
minor misdemeanor, and open container in a motor vehicle, a
minor
misdemeanor. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop on U.S. route
42,
in the area of Monterey Drive. Deputies were placing Wilson under
arrest
on an outstanding warrant, when they discovered the marijuana,
drug
paraphernalia and open container in the vehicle.
Deputies were
dispatched to the 11000 block of state Route 736 at 8:16
p.m. Saturday to
check the well being of a child. The reporting party
told deputies the mother
of his child was in no condition to care for
his child. The situation was
investigated by the sheriff's office and
the Department of Human Services.
The child was left in the custody of
the mother and her parents. The case
remains under investigation.
A woman in the 21000 block of Main Street in
Raymond called the
sheriff's office at 7:57 a.m. Saturday. The woman said the
father of her
children was in her home without permission. She said the man
came into
the home and confronted his daughter. The case remains
under investigation.
Eva White, 41, of 1534 Sandalwood Place in Columbus,
was arrested at
10:06 p.m. Saturday, charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia,
operating a vehicle intoxicated and failure to drive in marked
lanes.
The arrests were the result of a traffic stop conducted on U.S. 33,
near
Scottslawn Road. The driver was found to be in possession of a
white
powdery substance, packed in baggies as well as other
drug
paraphernalia. In addition, several unmarked pills were also found
in
her possession. Additional charges are possible, depending on
the
identification of the pills and the powder.
William Marshall, 65, of
14441 County Home Road, was arrested and
charged with one count of domestic
violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Deputies were dispatched to the 14000
block of County Home Road at 1:10
a.m. Sunday, on a 911 hang-up. Upon
arrival, deputies made contact with
a male and a female. The woman had
visible injuries and was taken to
Memorial Hospital of Union
County.
According to police reports:
Friday at 9 a.m. it was reported that
stereo equipment was stolen from a
car parked on Cloverknoll
Court.
Several gold golf clubs were stolen out of a car parked in the
15000
block of Timber Lane Thursday night.
A three-year-old reportedly
feel out of a second story window in an
apartment in the 300 block of South
Court Street Friday at 1:03 p.m. The
incident was listed as a suspicious
condition report.
Danielle McGee, 21, of 460 Windmill Drive apt. 20 was
arrested Friday at
2:22 p.m. on an outstanding falsification
warrant.
Money was reported stolen from a checking account Friday after a
card
was left in the ATM machine in the 100 block of West Fifth Street.
A
car window was broken out in the 600 block of Meadows Drive Friday.
A car
parked in the lot of the 1000 block of West Fifth Street was keyed
sometime
between 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Someone reportedly attempted to break
into a home in the 200 block of
Scott Farms Boulevard Friday.
Items were
reportedly stolen out of an apartment after someone broke
inside Saturday in
the 600 block of Kenny Lane.
Some reportedly tried to force entry into an
apartment in the 600 block
of Milford Avenue Saturday.
Items were stolen
out of a car parked in the 200 block of Elwood Drive Saturday.
A wallet
was reported stolen in the 500 block of Coleman's Crossing
Boulevard Saturday
evening.
A resident reported Saturday that cash was stolen from the 300 block
of
Gable Drive sometime after 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Jason Parkion, 24, of
727 Kenny Lane, Apt. A, was arrested for driving
under suspension during a
traffic stop on Delaware Avenue at 2:55 a.m. Sunday.
Officers located a
12-year-old female at 11:20 a.m. Sunday. The girl had
not been seen since

Driver Danesh Karamian, 53, Plain City was reportedly
headed northwest
on Taylor Road in a Ford F150, when he lost control
negotiating the turn
onto Ketch Road, and went off the side of the roadway.
His vehicle
struck a ditch and a tree, then overturned onto its right
side.
Karamian was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and OVI. He
reportedly
did not suffer injuries, although the vehicle was damaged.

Deputies investigated the burglary and theft
of an estimated $56,000,
after a car and numerous handguns were stolen from a
house in the 12000
block of Route 739 Thursday.

released on a two-car crash that occurred Wednesday
at 11:20 a.m. Driver
Braden Cross, 18, of 14625 Payne Road was headed
west on Lafayette-Plain City
Road when he stopped at a sign at the
intersection of Route 161. Driver Perry
Mullet, 73, of Plain City was
headed east on the opposite side of the road,
and stopped at the
intersection but turned in front of Cross and they
collided. No injuries
were reported in the crash and Mullet was cited for
failure to yield on a left hand turn.

A
17-year-old male student was arrested for possession of a knife while
at
Marysville High School Thursday at 8 a.m. The male was found with the
pocket
knife by a school resource officer, while the student being
interviewed by an
administrator.
Today at 2:31 a.m. police were called to check on the former
GI Plastek
building after a report that two people were inside. Officers
checked
and found an adult male and female inside, who appeared to be
ingesting
a small amount of cocaine. Charges are pending drug testing on
the substance.
A radio and Nintendo game system were stolen from a truck
parked in the
100 block of West Third Street Thursday.
A stolen check was
reportedly cashed at a business in the 800 block of
Delaware Avenue
Thursday.
A 15-year male was reportedly assaulted by another juvenile, who
was
throwing stones in the area of Amrine Mill Road Thursday at 3:04
p.m.
A resident in the 600 block of Rainbow Drive reported Thursday at
6:15
p.m. that a UPS package was delivered to the home, that was
never purchased.

Reports became available on a motorcycle
injury crash that occurred
Monday at 4:02 p.m.
Deputies reported that
driver Jason Leamman, 29, of Urbana was allegedly
doing "wheelies" on his
motorcycle while headed east on Honda Parkway at
Gate C. He lost control,
slid on the roadway, then crashed into a ditch.
Leamman was injured and
MedFlighted to Grant Medical Center for care. He
was cited for reckless
operation and failure to control his vehicle.
Deputies investigated a report
of illegal dumping of a sludge-like
material Wednesday at 10:25 a.m. on Waldo
Road. The Union County
Engineer's Office checked into the incident and
determined the substance
was only mud and was not illegal. No charges were
filed.

was arrested Tuesday at
4:59 p.m. for menacing after he allegedly threatened
another resident on his street.
A truck was reportedly dented with a
crescent wrench night Monday in the
1800 block of Deer Crossing Boulevard.
The wrench was found in the
street near the truck Tuesday morning.
Someone
broke a lamp next to the front steps at a home in the 600 block
of Mill Wood
Boulevard Tuesday.
James O. Combs, 24, of 123 W. Sixth St., was arrested on

warrant from the Union County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.
The
theft of a purse, which also had prescription medication inside, was

Jason Welsh, 35, of 630 Allenby Drive, was
charged with operating a
vehicle intoxicated, resisting arrest and felony
assault after he
crashed his vehicle in the 300 block of East Fifth Street

9:38 p.m. During his arrest, Welsh reportedly shoved a police
officer
and subsequently police used their Tasers to subdue him and get him
into
custody. He was also cited for failure to leave assured clear
distance ahead.
Jeffrey A. Hunter, 28, of 231 1/2 W. Fourth St., and
Joseph C. Payne,
28, of 242 Tulip Drive, were arrested for disorderly conduct
after a
fight in the 200 block of Tulip Drive Friday at 11:18 a.m.
Theft

Driver
Rebecca Davis, 25, of Richwood, was reportedly stopping to wait
for the car
ahead of her to turn. Driver Jesse Ledley, 18, of Richwood,
was traveling
behind her and failed to stop, striking her car in the
rear. Driver William
Mabery, 24, of North Lewisburg, was traveling
behind her and also failed to
stop, striking the back end of Ledley's
vehicle. The crash them forced
Ledley's car back into the rear end of
Davis' car. As a result of the crash,
Ledley suffered minor injuries and
was transported to Memorial Hospital of
Union County for care.
A possible burglary was reported Friday at 12:10 p.m.
after a resident
in the 11000 block of Rausch Road discovered bags of
clothing,
electronic equipment and boxes of china plates missing.
Deputies
are investigating an incident during which unnamed juveniles
were throwing
computer equipment over a bridge in the area of Route 4 at
Macklin Road
Friday at 6:14 p.m. No charges have been reported at this
time, although
deputies are considering littering and are checking to
see if the equipment
was stolen.
Saturday at 1:37 p.m. a 300 propane tank may have been stolen
or

George Bombash, 49, of Zanesfield, was charged with obstruction

official business and misuse of a 911 emergency system Sunday at

p.m. Union County dispatchers reported receiving numerous
emergency
calls from an intoxicated male, whose location was pinpointed to
Logan
County. At 8:24 p.m. Logan County deputies found Bombash as the
culprit
and took him into custody. He was then taken to Union County
for charges.
Ron Cline, 57, of Plain City, was arrested for operating a
vehicle
intoxicated, super concentration of blood alcohol levels,
driving
outside of marked lanes and having an open container of alcohol
while
driving in the area of Industrial Parkway at Post Road Sunday at
9:30 p.m.

According to police reports:
Thursday at 3:45 p.m. a 12-year-old female
reported that she was walking
down West Third Street at North Court Street
and a light gray 4-door
older model car stopped in front of her. She
described the driver as a
white male, pale skinned, heavy set, short black
hair, dark eyes and
possibly in his mid-30s. The driver was further described
as having
longer side burns and was sweaty. The girl stated that the man
asked her
if she needed a ride and then asked her to get into the car. The
man
then drove away after she declined. No suspect was located in the
area.
A 23-year-old man was deliberately struck by a car on West Third
Street
after a dispute Thursday at 8:35 p.m. Victim Seth J. Hall, 23, of
West
Third Street, was transported by medics to Memorial Hospital of
Union
County for injuries. Police were able to acquire the license plate
of
the Silver Eclipse which struck Hall. At this time the driver
remains unknown.
A resident in the 600 block of East Sixth Street reported
that he
arrived home Thursday at 10:21 a.m. and found his back door forced
open.
It is unknown if anything has been stolen at this time and the
incident
is under investigation.
Benjamin E. Conrad, 31, of 216 N. Court
St., was arrested for felony
theft and Natasha N. Conrad, 26, of 702 Allenby
Drive, was arrested for
complicity after the two were caught stealing

questionable and
notified authorities to investigate.
A business in the
16000 block of Allenby Drive reported a white male
drove off without paying
for $31 in gasoline Wednesday at 11:53 a.m.

Deputies discovered a rock had

in the 19000 block of Route 4. On Wednesday at 2
p.m. the incident was
reported to police, regarding a couple who were arguing
and the male
allegedly grabbed her arm.

During an argument between a couple,
the man allegedly started choking the
woman.
Bradley Durham, 41, of Urbana was cited for reckless operation of

According to police reports:
Tuesday at 11:45 p.m. an unknown caller tipped
police off to a gray
Toyota parked in front of a building in the 200 block of
Greenwood
Boulevard. Inside the car, police found two bags of old marijuana,
two
bags of prescription pills and one bag of white powder substance.
The
car was unlocked and the window was down. The case remains
under investigation.
Burglary was reported Tuesday at 9:21 a.m. after a
resident in the 200
block of Windsor Drive claimed a neighbor had entered her
apartment without permission.
Domestic violence charges are pending
against a 37-year-old man after he
allegedly became physical during an
argument with a 47-year-old woman at
their home in the 200 block of West
Eighth Street Tuesday at 12:30 a.m.
An unlocked bike was stolen from
Marysville Middle School, sometime

Deputies are investigating a possible rape of a 14-year old female by
a
juvenile male family friend. The incident allegedly occurred din
Dover
Township, and was reported Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
A woman reportedly
backed a golf cart into a mobile home Monday night at
the Richwood
Fairgrounds. The incident will be paid for by the woman and
her family, so no
charges were filed.
Monday at 9 p.m. a $9,000 Honda scooter was reported
stolen from the Richwood fairgrounds.

Apt. A was arrested for operating a
vehicle intoxicated, high blood alcohol

An update was provided for a one-car
rollover crash that occurred
Friday. At 12:56 p.m. driver Krista Bolan, 48,
of 551 Morning Star Drive
was headed west on U.S. 33 when she lost control
due to driver error and
went off the left side of the roadway. The car rolled
over onto its
side. Bolan suffered minor injuries and was transported to
Memorial
Hospital of Union County. She was cited for failure to control her
car.
Two people were injured in a one-car rollover crash Today at 1:04
a.m.
Driver Terry Meeks, 52, of Tennessee was headed north on U.S. 36 in
a
2008 Volvo semi tractor trailer truck when she went off the right
side
of the roadway, overcorrected and went off the left side of the
road,
and rolled over into a ditch. The truck struck a utility pole, a
fence
and a mailbox before stopping. Meeks suffered minor visible injuries
and
was not transported for care. Passenger Billy Brock, 46, of
Tennessee
was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor visible injuries and
was
transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County for care.
Keith Durr,
36, of Lima was cited for possession of marijuana, driving
under suspension
and speeding after a stop on U.S. 33 at Scottslawn Road Friday at 4:21
a.m.
Andrew Hollis, 19, of Columbus was stopped for speeding 106 mph in a
65
mph zone, and was cited for driving under suspension and
possible
stolen license plate after being stopped on U.S. 33 in Union
County Friday at 8:19 a.m.
Adam Alltop, 21, of 1091 Watkins Glen Road was
cited for operating a
vehicle intoxicated after a stop on Collins Avenue
Sunday at 1:25 a.m.
