The Fairbanks National Honor Society (NHS) had its first meeting with the newly inducted members this month.
They were informed of the NHS rules and other important information, such as mandatory meetings, service requirements and the various club committees.
They were also reminded, as new representatives of NHS and of Fairbanks High School, of their new responsibility to be seen as role models both in and out of school.
In other NHS news, last month’s Pennies for Patients collection raised more than $850, and was run by Claire Ruff and Devin Baum.
This club will meet one more time before the end of the school year.
