Dear editor,
I am a mother of four in the Marysville Exempted Village School District. We moved here six years ago. My oldest was in kindergarten. Ms. Mankins started around the same time. There were many complaints about the school district – including mismanagement of funds and the vacant old middle school. I had a hard time giving MVESD an objective start when I was unhappy about the part-time kindergarten Marysville had in place. I made a call to Ms. Mankins and told her my concerns. I felt communication between the district and the community was broken. I remember saying to her, “It doesn’t matter what the truth is if it’s not being communicated to the public.”
