MARY CATHRINE TRACY HAUGHN
Mary Cathrine Tracy Haughn, 86, of Richwood, died
Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008,
from complications of pneumonia at the Gables at Green
Pastures in
Marysville. She had been in failing health for more than six
months.
She was a former member of First United Methodist Church in
Richwood,
and a charter member for 51 years of the Progressive Buds Garden
Club of Byhalia.
She had worked at the Fulfillment Corp. in Marion. She
was a certified
ceramic teacher with her son at their home studio and at
Seton Square in
Marion for more than 25 years.
She was born June 9, 1921,
in Richwood, to the late Don D. and Blanche
Blue Tracy. On July 15, 1945, in
Richwood, she married Samuel E. Haughn,
and he died Feb. 14,
1983.
Surviving is her son, Gregory D. Haughn of Richwood, and
numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to
4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where
funeral services
will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Cheney
officiating.
Burial will be in the Byhalia Cemetery.

NANCY
MARIE SCHNEES
Nancy
Marie Schnees, 71, of Columbus, died peacefully Monday morning,
Jan. 7, 2008,
at her residence surrounded by her loving family after an
extended and
courageous battle with cancer.
A loving and caring wife, mother and
grandmother, she enjoyed spending
time with her family and watching the birds
and squirrels with her faithful dog, Sam.
She was born Jan. 19, 1936, in
Milford Center, to the late Charles and
Ottelia Cooperider Lowry. She also
was predeceased by a sister, Patricia
Garrey; three brothers, Robert Lowry,
Charles Lowry and Ralph Lowry; and
a brother-in-law, Harold "Sonny"
Schnees.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John R. Schnees;
her
children, Kathy (Jim) Acton and Robert (Michelle) Schnees of
Columbus,
Karen Kay Towner and Carla (Ron) Hamby of Plain City;
seven
grandchildren, Lisa (Wil) Pomeroy, Tessa (Anthony) Acton, Cory
Towner,
Katie Towner, Jamie Hamby, Micah McGlone and Devin McGlone;
sisters,
Nellie Todd of Marysville, Virginia Stidham and Helen
(George)
Dingledine of Milford Center, and Vivian (Ron) Noggle of Radnor; and
a
sister-in-law, Mary Lou Schnees of Milford Center.
The family will
receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at
Ferguson Funeral
Home, Plain City, where funeral services will be held
Thursday at 10 a.m.
with Pastor Blaine Keene officiating. Burial will be
at Forest Grove
Cemetery, Plain City.
