Bethany LeeAnn Hackley, 29, of North Lewisburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her residence.
She was a 2006 graduate of Triad High School and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. During high school, she participated in the band, choir and softball team. She spent the majority of her career in healthcare because she enjoyed helping people. Most recently, she was employed with Midwest Express, Inc.
She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and decorating her home. Most of all, she loved her children and enjoyed attending all of their events.
She was born Aug. 27, 1988, in Springfield, to Gary and Kimberly (Brugh) Hackley. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Lacy and Nora K. Brugh and Addison Hackley, and close friend, Robert Dillo.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jacob D. Ropp, and his parents, Cheryl and Don Martin and John Ropp; children, Taylor, Landon and Gabriel Queen and MacKenzie and Taylin Ropp; grandmother, Helen M. Hackley; brother, Brandon (Olivia Wolford) Hackley; grandmother, Donna Althouse; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg.
