Cara A Hoffman, 32, of Marion, died unexpectedly Nov. 12, 2017.
She spent much of her life growing up in Richwood and attended North Union High School.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1985, in Marysville, to William A Carter of Richwood and the late Rhonda L. (Monroe) Carter. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Raymond McDuffie Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Owen and Brayden Hoffman; daughters, Re’Niyah and Re’Liyah McDuffie; brothers, Andy D. Carter, Ian Carter and his partner, On Rivers, and Joe and Michael Keran; sisters, Brandi Tripp and Michelle (Keran) Ruff; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at noon at King’s Temple Apostolic Church, 285 Senate St., in Marion. Her family plans to have her remains cremated.
Memorial fundraisers entitled “Memorial Fund for Cara Carter” have been set up through GoFundMe, Facebook and the Richwood Banking Company. Contributions may be made at any location and donations will be used for all expenses.
