Charles Fraley, 57, of Plain City, died peacefully at his residence Friday, March 23, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a member of Jonathan Alder High School’s class of 1979. He was dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed country music, and one could always find him playing his guitar and singing with his band, Lost Creek. He enjoyed playing at Plain City Pub and the Mount Sterling VFW, Columbus American Legion Post 532, where his benefit concert is going to be held.
He was born Jan. 17, 1961, in Columbus, to Betty (Snyder) Fraley and the late Boyce Albert Fraley. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Destiny Fraley, sister, Rhonda Zornes and infant twin sisters, Jan and June.
He is survived by his children, Amanda Fraley and Charles Christopher Fraley; grandchildren, Keegan Baird, Devan Fraley, Dustin Fraley and Kameryn Fraley; brother, Tim (Stephanie) Fraley; sister, Carla (Jeff) Horger; nieces, Jennifer (Shane) Karasek, Allison (Brett) Van De Weerd and Tiffany (Jim) Biggum; and nephews, Brandon (Melissa) Fraley and John (Robyn) Zornes.
His family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (Route 161 W.), Plain City. The Rev. Dave Miller will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A burial will be held at Forest Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to the funeral home to defray recent expenses.
