Charlotte A. (Dailey) Barton, 90, of Plain City, died peacefully Monday evening, March 5, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving children.
She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday Feb. 2. She was very active in the Plain City Gardening Club and won many ribbons for her arrangements. She and her husband, Otto, were able to travel to every state and province that could be driven to in a car or RV. They enjoyed traveling together and went on many cruises.
She was born Feb. 2, 1928, to the late Archie A. and Roxie (Gearhart) Dailey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Otto A. Barton, who died in 2011; son, Steve Barton, who died in 1993; grandson, Greg Arrasmith, who died in 1993; and son-in-law, Dan Arrasmith, who died in 2015.
She is survived by her loving children, Linda Arrasmith of Plain City, Tamara (David) Redmond of Plain City and Thomas (Glinda) Barton of Hilliard; daughter-in-law, Mary Barton of Jonesboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Ross (Christopher) Barton, Michael (Rebecca) Arrasmith and Apryl (Eric) Reidelbach; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob and Sophia Arrasmith; brother, Fred (Cathy) Dailey of Florida; brother-in-law, Ross (Marie) Barton of Topeka, Kansas; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Schuman of Calgary, Canada.
Private family services will be held at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
