Martha V. “Ginny” (Crislip) Blevins Estepp, 89, of Marysville, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Memorial Hospital.
A homemaker and a skilled quilter, she enjoyed sewing and solving jigsaw puzzles. She was a hard-working wife and mother and was known for her homemade buttermilk biscuits and chicken and dumplings.
She was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Johnson County, Kentucky, to the late Johnny and Donna (McKenzie) Crislip. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Donald L. Blevins and James E. “Shorty” Estepp; son, Mike Blevins; siblings, Betty June, Bobby Gene, Irene, Faye, Bonnie Sue and Corvin; and daughter-in-law, Janie Blevins.
She is survived by her children, Rowena (Bob) O’Connors of Marysville, Yvonne “Susie” (Chuck) Jolliff of Marysville, Ramona Gay (Jerry) Curtis of Waverly, Mark Blevins of St. Paris and Matthew Blevins of Lebanon, Tennessee; stepson, Raymond (Kim) Estep of Marysville; grandchildren, Brian, Chris, Nikki, Jeremy, Mandy, Michael, Chad, Niki, William, Zack, Ryan, Kimi, Mike, Bonnie and Jerimy; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse (Junie) Salyers and James (Helen) Salyers; sisters, Minnie Kay (Dick) Dingledine and Lavonjalene (David Boggs) Wilcox; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gladys, Hobart, Junior and Marvin; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
The Rev. Peter C. Hamilton officiated funeral services today at Underwood Funeral Home. Burial took place at Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center.
