Michael Aaron Helton Sr., 47, of Marysville, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, from injuries he suffered in a traffic accident on Nov. 1, in Columbus.
A forklift operator by trade, he enjoyed mowing his lawn, working on cars, golfing and listening to music. He truly cherished his time spent with his family. He will be remembered with great love and fond memories as a son, father, grandfather, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and cousin. He will be deeply missed by his broken-hearted family.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1970, in Columbus, to Jesse and Judy (Estep) Helton of Marysville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Michael Helton Jr. and Kayla Helton, both of Marysville, Koeby (Abbie) Helton of Dublin and Austyn Helton of Worthington; grandchildren, Ava, Adelyn and Wyatt Helton, all of Dublin; grandmother, Dorothy Helton of Thornville; sister, Vicki Strickland of Marysville; nephews, Skylar and Cameron; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Elder Patrick Gilliland will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
