S. Jewell Kimbler, 95, of Marysville died Thursday evening, April 12, 2018, at Prestige Gardens in Marysville.
For many years, she cleaned homes for many families in the Marysville area. She finished her employment years retiring from Dennison Hydraulics. She held memberships in the VFW Post #3320 Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge #1651 Auxiliary.
She loved her flower and vegetable gardens and especially enjoyed canning her vegetables in season. Her free time was spent doodling and coloring the pictures she had drawn.
She was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Flat Gap, Kentucky, to the late Delbert and Viola Sparks Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Kimbler, and to her two children, Emogene and Ronnie, who she unselfishly cared for; sisters, Dorothy Combs, Alice Williams, Mary Wright; and a brother, Walter Jones.
She is survived by nieces Annalee McCall of Erie, PA, Cherryl (Les) Ferguson of Marysville, Regenia (Floyd) Bobb of West Mansfield; nephew Kenneth (Brenda) Jones of Marysville; and many cousins from Oklahoma.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Ingram Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Scott Salee officiating. Burial will follow at the Milford Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in care of the funeral home.
