Victor G. “Vic” Hoffman, 52, of Richwood, died peacefully Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Involved in the security industry for 30 years, he recently was an associate of Securadyne Systems. He was a 1984 graduate of Lakota High School in West Chester. His favorite hobbies were mowing grass and maintaining his lawn, second to cherishing the time he spent with his family. He was a fan of the Ohio State University football team and appreciated all kinds of music. He was known for his sense of humor and appreciation of laughter.
He was born Dec.14, 1965, in Marion, to Wanda Cox Hoffman of Richwood and the late James “Bud” Victor Hoffman. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Berdina Cronkleton Cox and Edith and Victor George Hoffman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Candida L. “Candi” Hoffman; children, Preston W. Hoffman of Richwood, Zachary Victor (Nikki) Hoffman of New Miami and Taylor Greenlee of Denver, Colorado; granddaughter, Halen Renae Hoffman; siblings, Wesley R. Hoffman, Patrick (Ashley) Hoffman and Mea Hoffman; brothers-in-law, Dennis McVicker and Kelly (Yuranis) McVicker; aunt, Wilma (Rick) Ferguson; and other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Beeson will officiate funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Food and fellowship will follow the service at Marysville Christian Church, 17000 Waldo Rd., Marysville. Graveside services will be held following the luncheon at 2 p.m. at North Greenfield Cemetery, Logan County.
