Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Paver Barnes Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Honda Civic that lost control, struck a guardrail and then struck a 2013 Honda Ridgeline Thursday at 1:42 a.m. The driver of the Honda Civic, Be Dikariyaw, 55, of Columbus, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 at Scottslawn Road, a deputy charged James H. Reed, 48, of Powell, with possession of drug paraphernalia Thursday at 5:22 a.m.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 47 and Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a 2018 Honda Odyssey Thursday at 6:11 a.m.
Deputies responded to a property damage crash involving a 2006 Honda Civic that was struck by a 2012 Hyundai Elantra at the roundabout at Route 161 and Industrial Parkway at 7:02 a.m. Thursday. The juvenile driver of the Hyundai was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lines.
A deputy responded to a property damage crash involving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Honda Civic at the U.S. 33 on ramp from Route 161 at 7:09 a.m. Thursday.
A property damage crash involving a 2017 Buick Enclave striking a deer near Johnson Road was investigated at 7:10 a.m. Thursday.
The theft of a purse from a locked vehicle that was broken into overnight near Watkins Road was investigated at 8:29 a.m. Thursday.
Regina L. Childers, 39, of Fairbanks, was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:12 p.m. Thursday. A deputy transported her from Butler County Jail to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Tiffany D. Gray, 21, of Marion, was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:11 p.m. Thursday. She was taken by a Union County deputy and transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
