A deputy met with a Columbus Police officer to take custody of Edward J. Vodarick, Jr., 41, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant Wednesday at 12:39 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to the 11000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1999 Honda Accord that struck a 2007 Kenworth dump truck Wednesday at 6:55 a.m.
Deputies investigated a property damage crash involving a Honda Pilot that struck a traffic sign near the intersection of Route 37 and Bethlehem Claibourne Road Wednesday at 8:25 a.m.

A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive for an unresponsive forty-three-year-old female Wednesday at 12:22 p.m. The female was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway for a person threatening self-harm Wednesday at 1:04 p.m. The person was taken to the Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to an injury crash at the intersection of Route 739 and Storms Road involving a 2000 Honda Accord that struck a 2004 Honda CR-V Wednesday at 1:31 p.m. One victim was taken to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs to resolve a neighbor dispute over loud motorcycles Wednesday at 6:47 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 9000 block of Streng Road for a domestic dispute between two brothers Wednesday at 9:19 p.m.
