According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to a residence in the 27000 block of Route 739 for a male threatening the resident with a pair of scissors Saturday at 6:29 p.m. The male fled the residence and was located driving a 2011 Honda Civic on Route 739. The suspect was stopped and identified as Timothy Baumgardner, 47, of Bellefontaine. He was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence and aggravated menacing. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Bellepoint Road to investigate the theft of a wallet, headphones, a cooler and a firearm from an unlocked vehicle Friday at 8:41 p.m.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Shields Road to investigate the theft of gift cards from an unlocked vehicle Friday at 9:31 a.m.
A deputy responded to the 17000 block of Waldo Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1997 Ford F-350 that struck a deer Friday at 2:37 a.m.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 22000 block of Route 161 to investigate the theft of three chainsaws Friday at 2:29 p.m.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 42 near Watkins California Road, a deputy charged Mark A. Price II, 24, of Columbus, with possession of marijuana paraphernalia Friday at 5:56 p.m.
Deputies investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 4 near Blues Creek Road involving a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu that was hit by a semi that left the scene Friday at 6:20 p.m.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Raymond Road for a suicide attempt Saturday at midnight.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to Honda Parkway at U.S. 33 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe that struck a 2006 Ford-F-250 Saturday at 12:19 a.m. The driver of the Hyundai, Brooklyn S. Butler, 21, of Kenton, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Route 161 for a property damage crash involving a 2015 GMC Terrain that drove off the road, struck multiple fence posts, a utility pole and a culvert Saturday at 1:47 a.m. After further investigation, the driver, Laura B. Shanklin, 30, of Milford Center, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. She was taken to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy investigated an assault involving multiple individuals that occurred at a property in the 14000 block of Weaver Road Saturday at 2:56 a.m.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute between a husband and wife in a vehicle that was parked on U.S. 33 near Mitchell Dewitt Road Saturday at 10:06 a.m.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 Saturday at 3:14 p.m.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Police Department responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Sycamore Drive for a person threatening self-harm Saturday at 6:44 p.m. The person was taken to Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Deputies and officers from the Richwood Police responded to a residence in the 16000 block of Route 739 for domestic dispute between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend Saturday at 7:28 p.m. After further investigation, Andrew J. McComas, 42, of Marysville, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Anthony Osterlich, 39, of North Maple Street, was arrested for assault and domestic violence Sunday at 12:19 p.m.
A resident of Timberview Drive reported misuse of a credit card Sunday at 12:19 p.m.
A resident of East Fifth Street reported dumping of garbage on a loading dock Sunday at 1:07 p.m.
Jonathon Canter, 24, of Plain City, was cited for driving without an operator’s license Sunday at 9:16 p.m.

Philip Lowry, 20, of Marysville, was arrested for OVI and driving outside marked lanes Friday at 12:11 a.m. on Hinton Mill Road in Dover Township.
