Officers investigated a vehicle crash on West Fifth Street and Maple Street Monday at 9:29 a.m. No injuries reported.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to a home in the 24000 block of Route 4 to investigate threats that were made against a resident Monday at 12:08 a.m.
A deputy responded to the 21000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Subaru WRX that was struck from behind by a 2011 Nissan Versa Monday at 8:02 a.m.
A deputy investigate drugs that were found in a backpack at the North Union Middle School Monday at 11:58 a.m.
A deputy was sent to the 16000 block of Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a vehicle that struck a dog Monday at 8:14 a.m.
A deputy responded to the 16000 block of Robinson Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Nissan Frontier that was struck by a U.S. postal truck Monday at 12:52 p.m. The driver of the Nissan, Stephen R. Parello, 78, of Mingo, was issued a traffic citation for parking on the roadway.
Deputies and a Richwood Police officer were sent to North Union High School to investigate a fight involving two juveniles Monday at 1:08 p.m.
While investigating a possible theft in the parking lot of a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42, a deputy charged Kevin H. Hicks, 29, of Milwaukee, with possession of drug paraphernalia Monday at 3:52 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 70000 block of Scioto Road to investigate the theft of shipped packages Monday at 4:54 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Fish Road for a domestic dispute between family members Monday at 7:29 p.m. After further investigation, Chad M. Rausch, 41, of Marysville, was arrested for domestic violence and taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies met with a Columbus Police officer to take custody of Jessica L. Witt, 33, of Plain City, and two juveniles, for outstanding arrest warrants Monday at 10:50 p.m. Witt was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail and the juvenile were taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center.
Deputies went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Matthew D. Wright, 27, of Raymond, for an outstanding arrest warrant Monday at 11:58 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
