According to Marysville Police Department reports:
An employee of a business on West Fifth Street reported a theft Wednesday at 4:29 p.m.
Wednesday at 3:11 p.m., Marysville Police received a report of child abuse. An investigation is ongoing. Officials said it was discovered by school employees, but occurred at a student’s home.
Marysville Police recovered a bicycle in the area of North Cherry Street Thursday at 8:27 p.m.
Vernon Swinning, 38, of West Seventh Street, was arrested for abusing harmful intoxicants Thursday at 8:39 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a property damage crash on Middleburg-Plain City Road involving a 2006 Ford F-150 that struck a deer and was reported Thursday at 5:32 a.m.
A deputy checked a suspicious 2012 Chevrolet Silverado parked at a church camp on Hinton Mill Road and found drugs and drug paraphernalia Thursday at 10:43 a.m.
A deputy and the Dublin Police Department searched for and found a person on U.S. Route 33 threatening suicide and self-harm Thursday at 10:45 a.m. They were taken to Methodist Hospital for evaluation.
A trespassing complaint at a residence on U.S. Route 36 was investigated Thursday at 1:09 p.m.
Deputies and the Marysville Fire Department were sent to a garage fire at a residence on Pleasant Ridge Drive Thursday at 7:08 p.m.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to an injury crash at the intersection of Route 4 and Kaiser Road involving a 2006 Honda Civic that struck a 2008 Buick Lucerne Thursday at 9:12 p.m. One victim was taken to Memorial Hospital and the juvenile driver of the Honda Civic was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
A deputy investigated an aggravated menacing incident that occurred at a residence in the 17000 block of Springdale Road Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
