The Lady Cats of North Union just keep on winning.
NU recorded its lopsided victory of the season on Monday, defeating Mid Ohio Athletic Conference rival Marion Harding, 27-0.
The North Union bats were primed early.
Maddison Ruhl blasted a shot over the fence with a runner on to help the Cats tally four runs in the opening inning.
North Union continued to keep the score board active, notching three more runs in the third inning.
The real ‘nail in the coffin’ for Harding came in the fourth inning.
The Lady Cats collected 14 runs with the help of two-run homers from Regan Martino and Madison Amstutz with a runner on during each HR.
The Lady Cats closed out the abbreviated game with an additional six runs in the fifth inning.
They scored their 27 runs on 22 hits.
NU used a battery of pitchers to keep the Lady Prexies off the board.
Josie Duncan started and went two innings.
Madison Wedding followed suit with an inning’s worth of work and Amstutz closed out the game with two innings.

The Lady Cats were also recently crowned the Black Pool champion during the Wendy’s Spring Classic. North Union started the tournament with a 10-9 triumph over Milford 10-9.
That was followed by a 5-1 win in the semi-final round against Leo High School of Indiana.
NU completed its sweep by downing Elyria 6-4.
The Lady Cats, 12-1, will return to action on Wednesday at Galion.
