Lady Monarchs fall
Marysville’s girls wrapped up the regular season with a 2-0 loss to Hilliard Darby.
The contest was a physical battle as the Lady Monarchs rose up and contested one of the top teams in the Central District.
MHS (5-6-6) put a score in the net early in the game, but the goal was waved off due to an off-side call.
The Panthers went on top 1-0 after a throw-in cross.
Darby tallied an insurance goal during the final 90 seconds of the game.
“I’m very proud of the girls,” said Marysville coach Nathan Andrews. “I am looking forward to what the tournament has to offer.”
