The Allen Township Board of Trustees will hold a hearing prior to their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to review and make a determination on the Zoning Commissions recommendations for the Zoning Resolution regarding wind farms and accessory structures. The hearing will be held in the trustees meeting room located in the Community Building at 16945 Allen Center Road, Marysville. Public is welcome to attend.

Advertisement for Bids
Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Director of Administration, 125 East Sixth Street, Marysville, Ohio, 43040, until 11:00 a.m., local time, on August 10, 2010, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place for the construction of:
City of Marysville - Fifth Street Streetscape Improvements
The project consists of the following:
- 700LF of sidewalk replacement including brick crosswalks
- Mast Arm Traffic Signal installation at the Fifth and Walnut Street intersection
- Installation of six (6) street lights
- Driveway replacement, seeding, erosion control, and other miscellaneous items required to restore the area to its original condition
Proposal documents are available for review at the Office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 125 East Sixth Street, Marysville, Ohio, 43040, without charge. Copies may be obtained from the City of Marysville upon a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each set of Bid Documents. The check is to be made payable to the City of Marysville.
There will be a Pre-bid Conference held at the City Hall, 125 East Sixth Street, Marysville, Ohio, on August 3, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Following the pre-bid meeting, a site visit may be conducted to allow prospective bidders to inspect the project area and existing facilities.
All formal bids shall be submitted using a set of Bid Documents purchased from the City of Marysville. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available The City of Marysville will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Proposal Documents, including any addenda obtained from other sources.
Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications, to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders and complete the Best Bidder Information Form provided.
Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
All bids must include payment of wages at wage rates established by the General Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages. Further information is provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
Each Bidder must deposit with its bid, a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a bond for an amount of 100% of the bid if in the form of a Bid Guaranty or in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, for and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and pursuant with ORC Section 153.54, 153.57 and 153.571. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
