As the end of the year slowly arrives, so does the expectation of the annual Fairbanks prom.
Prom will be held from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. April 28. This year’s theme is centered around Asian nights.
Held at Fairbanks High School, the evening will begin with the promenade starting at 7:15 p.m. This is a favorite tradition among students as they get to see dresses and couples all come in at once.
“In the past, I always loved seeing everyone walk out of their elaborate cars and seeing how the dates were dressed up,” said Gracie Tomblin, a junior who plans to attend prom this year.
The seniors have heard many things about the upcoming decorations and activities planned, but are not allowed to know yet.
Prom is something students looks forward to and this year will be no exception.
