Marysville Homecoming festivities on tap this week October 06, 2009 at 11:19 am

UNDERWOOD Journal-Tribune intern Homecoming week is here and although it may seem like just another Friday night football game, there’s more to be discovered on the turf. Last week, the Marysville High School senior class voted on a Fall Homecoming Court consisting of five senior females and five senior males to kick off the time for Homecoming. The young ladies in line for the title of queen are class president Chelsea Burns, vice president Ashley Shope, Haley Wolfe, Brittany Brown and Lyndsey Davisson. King candidates are Luke Fleming, Ian Mickelson, Bryan Barrett, Nate Weeks, and Tyler DeLorenzo. Homecoming week started today with “Tie Dye Day,” where students were encouraged to show their school spirit by sporting a tie dyed shirt. –––– Parade route listed for Thursday The 87th annual Marysville High School Homecoming parade will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, beginning at 6 p.m.
