The resignation of Tracy Rausch, Unionville Center clerk-treasurer, was announced at Monday night’s Unionville Center Village Council meeting. It will be effective Oct. 31.
Mayor Denver Thompson has appointed Heather Blevins as Rausch’s replacement. Blevins will be sworn in at the November council meeting.
Minutes of Monday’s meeting were taken by council member Peggy Williamson in the absence of Rausch who was ill. Blevins attended the meeting in an unofficial capacity.
Lawns Plus Property Management owned by Todd Fultz and Mike Kuhn was the only estimate submitted for leaf collection. Council approved their estimate for a total cost of $1,041 for collection during the week of Nov. 16-20.
Residents must have leaves raked to the edge of the streets or alleys by Monday, Nov. 16. Residents are reminded that it is against Ohio EPA regulations to burn leaves within the village corporation limit.
