Plans for a water line replacement projected slated for Scott Circle may finally make life a little easier for those living in the neighborhood.
Marysville water division superintendent Scott Sheppeard said his crews have repeatedly had to dig up yards on the street because of water line breaks over the years.
Once the work is completed, he said, the hope is that the digging and other water issues may finally come to an end.
Sheppeard said by the end of December the city of Marysville Division of Water is scheduled to begin replacing the 6-inch cast iron water main in the neighborhood, which is located off of West Third Street. A new 8-inch ductile iron water main will be installed, including new copper tie-ins to improve water services.
He said construction is scheduled to start in December and continue for a couple months into 2010 — as weather permits.
