All 18 enter not guilty pleas
Nearly three dozen defendants, friends and family filled the Union County Court of Common Pleas, as 17 of the 18 arrested in the October heroin drug raid were arraigned.
Judge Sumner Walters, a retired judge of the Third District Court of Appeals, presided over the hearings. Union County Common Pleas Court Judge Don Fraser had recused himself from the cases because of his daughter’s involvement.
