Monarch grapplers will compete in Central District All-Star meet

McCombs, who is ranked 12th nationally in his weight class by USA Wrestling magazine, is one of several MHS grapplers who will compete next week in the Central District All-Star meet.

Several Marysville High School wrestlers will get a jump on the 2009-2010 season when they compete next week in the Central District All-Star meet.
The event will be held Tuesday at Olentangy High School, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Monarchs will be represented by six wrestlers, with a seventh on standbye as an alternate.
MHS will be led by three athletes who placed during last year’s state tournament.
Jake McCombs, who placed third at 125, will compete against D. Wheeler of Utica.
Nate Weeks (215) finished fourth in the state tournament. He will battle T. Fabry of West Jefferson.
