Cemetery decision draws complaints

While many residents have expressed concern about the possibility of the city pool remaining closed in 2010, others feel a more important decision being made could “come back to haunt” the city.
“In the past few weeks I have been hearing rumors as to the status of the cemetery and its employees,” local funeral director Daryl Ingram told Marysville City Council members Thursday night.
He said he learned that all employees at the cemetery were laid off, and will be replaced by part-time workers “with little or no cemetery experience.”
