The Union County Commissioners have signed off on sanctions and recommendations from the state regarding Raymond and Peoria.
The commissioners signed the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Director’s Final Findings and Orders.
The document gives Union County nine months from its effective date to present a plan to “construct and operate a sewerage system and wastewater treatment works, which system and works shall prevent, control and abate pollution and abate the public health nuisance, in totality, in and from Raymond and Peoria.”
