Eden Cryogenics looking at 30 additional jobs A Jerome Township business is planning an expansion that could provide more than 30 jobs for the area. Eden Cryogenics LLC, 8445 Rausch Drive, Plain City, is planning a $2,367,500 expansion. According to Eric Phillips, Union County Economic Development director, the expansion could provide about 30 new jobs. Phillips was to meet with Eden officials today. However, the meeting was canceled due to illness. Phillips said the timeline for state sponsored incentives has expired, and the county, along with the state and the company, must begin negotiations again. He said this morning, there is a possability, however, that the state may have applied an extension to the original agreement. “We (the county commissioners) have been working hard on this for some time,” commissioner Tom McCarthy said this morning. “We are supporting that and are hoping we will be able to locate this in Union County.”
