Uptown snow removed

With between four and eight inches of snow predicted for Tuesday, city workers are doing their best to get a handle on the snow situation in the city’s uptown. Above, Jeremy McDonald, in the backhoe, loads Joe Nicol, in the dump truck, with snow Monday morning at the intersection of Main and Fifth Streets. Main Street is closed until the snow is removed. City officials said it could be, “a day or two,” before the uptown is cleared.
