WANDA LOU DRUMM HENRY

Wanda Lou Drumm Henry, 68, a lifetime resident of Marysville, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer since being diagnosed in 2000.  
A bartender and cook, she most recently worked at Benny’s Pizza for almost eight years, was a former employee at Dutch’s Truck Stop and bartended at the Hide-A-Way Lounge for 13 years.
A veteran of the U. S. Army, she served in the Women’s Army Corps and was a member of the Marysville VFW Post 3320 and Marysville Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, Aerie No. 3506.
She attended Marysville High School and enjoyed fishing, wrestling, playing pool, crossword and word puzzles, euchre and softball. She liked the TV show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and country music fan.
Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and especially cherished becoming a great-grandmother in the past month.
She was born Sept. 24, 1939, in Marysville, to the late Francis and Evelyn Warner Drumm. She also was predeceased by her former husband, Jimmy Lee Henry; four brothers, Stanley, Donald, Lloyd and Robert Drumm; a sister, Marilyn Brown; a grandson, Noah Moore; and two brothers-in-law, Don Noonan and Walter Oates.
She is survived by four children, Ula (Rick) Clark of Middleburg, Eric “Jug” (Erin) Henry of North Lewisburg, Dean (April) Henry of Plain City, and Lou Ann Reisinger and her special friend Angelo Tocci of Marysville; 13 grandchildren, Kyle (Alicia) Holbrook, Shane Rognon, Cameron Rognon, Alex Clark, Derek Reisinger, Cheyenne Reisinger, Tyra Reisinger, Presley Henry, Hailey Henry, Connor Henry, Autumn Allegree, Alexis Allegree and Tabitha Henry; a great-granddaughter, Kasen Holbrook; six brothers, Pearl (Betty) Drumm, Carl (Luella) Drumm, Arthur (Bobbi) Drumm, Rodney (Patsy) Drumm and Richard “Dick” Drumm, all of Marysville; and Francis (Marie) Drumm of California; two sisters, Wilma Noonan of Marysville, and Gloria Oates of Kenton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends, including Peggy Johnson and Linda Legg.   
Funeral services with military honors will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Underwood Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jerry L. McQueen will officiate. Following cremation, graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery.
