Fund raiser planned for hoop team November 13, 2008 at 5:25 am
There will be a Casino Night fund raiser for the Marysville High School girls basketball program on Saturday, hosted by Sonic Vision Entertainment. The Casino Night will benefit the Lady Monarch basketball program and will be start at 6 p.m. at the Marysville Moose Family Center on Milford Avenue. The cost of a ticket will include pizza, subs, snacks and soda (a cash bar will be offered by the Moose), plus $25,000 in “Fun Bucks.” There will be various drawing prizes and auction items, including a Chocolate 3 cell phone certificate, Drury Inn free night, iPod, Arnold Palmer framed/autographed picture, nine- pound Nestle Crunch Bar and Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus Crew tickets. The fund raiser will be used to offset costs involved with the girls basketball program, summer leagues and camps. Prize, auction and food donations are being accepted at this time.
