Beer Belly Open held at Timberview
Timberview Golf Club held its 15th annual Beer Belly Open last weekend.
The event is a four-person scramble and each team must have a combined weight of at least 1,000 pounds.

League to begin
The Triad Jr. Baseball and Softball Association will sponsor its annual fall co-ed softball league in North Lewisburg.
The tentative starting date is Sunday, Sept. 13 and the league will run through the end of October.
