Fairbanks boys, Jon Alder girls fall in district soccer finals

Saturday’s district championship day posed two different scenarios for two area high school soccer teams.
For Fairbanks’ boys, the question was “is the third time the charm?”
For Jonathan Alder’s girls, it was “can we keep the most successful season in school history going?”
Unfortunately, the answer for fans of both teams was no.
The Panthers lost to Worthington Christian, 2-0, to claim a third straight district runner-up trophy, while the Lady Pioneers dropped a 2-1 decision to Bexley.
