FHS cagers fall to Vikings

Fairbanks’ boys varsity basketball team dropped a 62-49 decision at River Valley on Wednesday.
The Vikings’ victory was keyed by the fact they did aneffective job defensively on FHS sharpshooter Nick Gibson.
The Panther junior finished with just seven points, well below his season average.
“River Valley took Nick away at the offensive end of the floor,” said Panther coach Larry Morris.

Season ends
The 2009-2010 campaign came to an end for Marysville’s girls freshmen at the Pickerington Tournament.
The Lady Monarchs (0-14) fell to Mount Vernon, 30-14. Jo Weikle led with six points.
