From Sheriff’s reports:
Quentin Snodgres, 32, of Marysville, was cited at 8:17 a.m. Thursday for failure to confine a dog after his husky killed several chickens on another property in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road.
Zachary Salmons, 20, of Galloway, was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on U.S. 33, at 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies responded to a call in the 24000 block of Ford Reed Road at 8:11 p.m. Thursday. The caller told deputies an all-terrain vehicle was taken from his property.
From police reports:
A resident of West Third Street contacted police about 9:25 a.m. Thursday to report he was being harassed by a former girlfriend.
Officers were called at 11:48 Thursday to a home on West Ninth Street for a wellness check. When the officers arrived, they found the occupant, an 86-year-old woman, deceased.
Police arrested a 15-year old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Ostrander, at 6 p.m. Thursday. The pair was caught attempting to steal alcohol from a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
Charles C. Fraley, 23, of 668 Allenby Drive, was arrested about 7:24 p.m. Thursday, for driving under suspension after a traffic stop on Allenby Drive.
Melvin H. Deere Jr., 57, of 117 S. Oak St., was arrested about 9:54 p.m. Thursday, after causing a disturbance at a business on East Fifth Street. He was arrested again about 1:57 a.m. today, charged with persistent disorderly conduct after neighbors reported he was threatening them with a bat.
A resident on West Third Street contacted police about 1:30 a.m. today, to report that his sister broke a mirror and the front window. She then left the area.
