According to sheriff’s reports: Thieves reportedly stole items during numerous related car break-ins in Union County that occurred Sunday night to Monday morning. Monday at 12:15 p.m. a resident reported change had been stolen from a car parked in the 26000 block of Yearsley Road. At 12:43 p.m. Monday a resident reported $225 in change and tools were stolen from a car parked in the 24000 block of Patrick Brush Run Road. Monday at 1:13 p.m. a resident reported a GPS unit was stolen from a car parked in the 27000 block of Zook Road. Monday at 11:46 a.m. a resident reported an iPod accessory, valued at $90, was stolen from a car parked in the 25000 block of Yearsley Road. A TV was reported stolen from a camper parked in the 24000 block of Mitchell DeWitt Road Monday at 3:13 p.m. In an unrelated car break-in, a resident in the 7000 block of Memorial Drive reported Monday at 11:38 a.m. that auto parts were stolen out of a car under repair. A 9-year-old male reportedly became aggressive, striking teachers and administrators at North Union Elementary School Thursday at 10:45 a.m. No charges were listed against the male. A dispute over ownership of license plates was reported Friday at 10:32 a.m. in the 18000 block of Route 739. Misuse of a credit card was reported Friday at 8:44 p.m. after a resident in the 17000 block of Miller Road discovered $1,189 in charges illegally made to his card. William Hindman, 42, of Bellefontaine, was charged with obstructing official business and was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he provided the responding officer with a fake name to avoid being arrested after a stop on Route 161 Friday at 1:42 p.m. Saturday at 1:52 p.m. a resident in the 14000 block of Bellepoint Road reported a truck left deep ruts and damaged the lawn after dropping off a car. Tytus Rutan, 31, of 20920 Raymond Road, was arrested for OVI and speeding after a stop on Collins at Maple Ridge Road Sunday at 1:55 a.m. Ruthann Dennis, 61, of 321 S. Oak St., was charged with disorderly conduct after she allegedly choked a 34-year-old woman Sunday at 3:19 p.m. during a dispute in the 18000 block of Route 31. A dispute over prescription medication was reported Monday at 3:13 p.m. in the 8000 block of Mitchell DeWitt Road. A 15-year-old male was sent to the Central Ohio Youth Center after he struck his father several times in the head during an argument Monday at 6:10 p.m. in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive. According to police reports: A car was vandalized overnight Sunday on Mulberry Street. Monday at 12:51 p.m. a resident reported he paid for work to be done on his car, which was never completed and the repairman allegedly left town. A former Marysville resident reported Monday afternoon that his estranged wife obtained a prescription in his name without permission. The woman later reported the medication had been stolen from her vehicle. A set of keys was found on East Fifth Street Monday. A driver reported he struck a water line cap sticking up from the road on East Eighth Street at Plum Street Monday at 4:10 p.m. He said it damaged two of his tires. Monday at 4:22 p.m. a resident of Bridgewater Drive reported her downstairs neighbor constantly plays music too loud. Thomas A. Dague, 40, of 16653 School St., was charged with driving under a child support suspension after a stop on Mill Creek Road at U.S. 36 Monday at 8:42 p.m. A West Third Street resident reported that her ex-boyfriend has been harassing her today at 12:41 a.m. Emilio M. Mendiola, 37, of 562 Allenby Drive was arrested and charged with OVI after a stop on West Sixth Street at South Maple Street today at 2:45 a.m. He was also found in possession of prescription medication that was not prescribed for him. Charles E. Hill II, 38, of 216 N. Maple St., was arrested today at 5:10 a.m. on an outstanding warrant issued through the Marysville Municipal Court. According to OSP reports: No Union County injury crash or arrest reports.
