According to Marysville Police Department reports:
A resident of West Fifth Street reported a sexual offense Monday at 12:21 p.m. An investigation is underway.
Hunter Clark, 21, of Caraway Lane, was arrested for theft of merchandise from a business on Colemans Crossing Monday at 2:22 p.m.
A business on U.S. 36 reported theft of merchandise Monday at 3:01 p.m.
A resident of Valley Drive reported telecommunications fraud Monday at 3:45 p.m.
A resident of Mill Road reported identity theft Monday at 10:09 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Mercedez-Benz that struck a 2012 Nissan while changing lanes Monday at 7:20 a.m. The driver of the Mercedez, Nicholas C. Lang, 29, of Zanesville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance while passing a vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 7500-block of Montgomery Drive to check on a person threatening suicide Monday at 8:35 a.m. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Deputies were sent to a home on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person threatening suicide Monday at 10:08 a.m. The person was transported to Maryhaven for evaluation.
A deputy went to a residence in the 32000-block of Route 31 to investigate the possible theft of a horse Monday at 12:23 p.m.
A deputy went to the Delaware County Jail to take custody of Shawn M. Combs, 43, of Springfield, for an outstanding arrest warrant Monday at 4:01 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and U.S. 33 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Volvo Semi that struck a 2015 Chevrolet Monday at 5:02 p.m.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, sheriff’s deputies, Jerome Township Fire Department and Washington Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Post Road for an injury crash involving a 1993 Honda motorcycle Monday at 3:47 p.m.
A tire blew on the motorcycle cause the driver to lose control and run off the left side of the road. The driver, Steven Lynn, 51, of North Ridgeville, was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital by Jerome Township EMS.
He was cited for having an unsafe vehicle on the road, based on other issues found with the vehicle. A passenger, Kimberly Machock, 52, of Alleria, was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital by Washington Township EMS.
Riverside Methodist Hospital was unable to respond with condition reports by press time.
