A resident of West Ninth Street reported a dispute over the payment for a vehicle Thursday at 9:20 a.m.
Officers arrested and charged Heather M. McCroskey, 24, of 504 Milford Ave., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Thursday at 12:02 p.m. following an incident at a business on South Main St.
A pager found at Eljer Park was turned over to the police Thursday at 2:48 p.m.
A business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard reported theft Thursday at 3:19 p.m.
Joshua W. Nobles, 23, of 951 Lora Lee Drive, was arrested and charged with criminal damaging and theft Thursday at 4:40 p.m. from a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
A resident of South Walnut St. reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail Thursday at 4:48 p.m.
Officers charged two juveniles with unlawful use of fireworks following an incident on Cottonwood Drive Thursday at 6:10 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of harassment at Eljer Park Thursday at 10:13 p.m.
On Thursday at 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence on West Fifth Street on a report of drug abuse.
Officers assisted the Bellefontaine Police Department in locating a juvenile from their city Friday at 3:46 a.m.
According to Union County Sherriff’s Office reports:
A deputy, a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and units from the Northern Union County Fire Department, and Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the 30000-block of Route 31 Thursday at 1:12 a.m. to investigate a property damage crash involving a motor home that struck a large tree limb that fell in the roadway.
Deputies responded to the U.S. 33 westbound on ramp from Route 4 north Thursday at 7:28 a.m. to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda Civic that drove off the ramp and struck a ditch.
A deputy was sent to a residence on West State Street in Milford Center to investigate a report of harassment Thursday at 7:39 a.m.
A deputy responded to the intersection of West Mansfield Mount Victory Road at Rushsylvania Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 BMW 328I that was struck by a 1999 Honda Civic Thursday at 3:42 p.m. The driver of the BMW, Kristen A. Kansen, 23, of Ridgeway, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield.
A deputy took custody of Tommey M. C. Ridgeway, 18, of Magnetic Springs, for an outstanding warrant. The suspect was taken to Central Ohio Youth Center Thursday at 4:58 p.m.
A deputy and a trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 26000-block of Route 4 Thursday at 5:40 p.m. to investigate a property damage crash involving a pickup truck that drove off the roadway and struck a fence. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash investigation.
Deputies were sent to Orchard Road near Streng Road Thursday at 7:45 p.m. to investigate a dispute between brothers and sisters.
A deputy met with a Gahanna Police Officer to take custody of Ashley N. Smith, 25, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant Thursday at 8 p.m. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to Orchard Road near Streng Road to investigate a dispute between brothers and sisters Thursday at 8:29 p.m.
Deputies and units from Northern Union County Fire Department and Leesburg Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 4 at Route 37 south junction to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Toyota Camry that struck a deer and was also struck from behind by a 2009 Toyota Camry Thursday at 10:25 p.m.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Cecil Carlton, 53, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence Thursday evening.
