According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Two small children were reported to be unattended in the area of Chestnut Street and East Seventh Street Thursday at 10:23 a.m. The report was forwarded to the Union County Department of Job and Family Services.
Officers arrested Joshua J. Scott, 35, of Sandusky Road, Thursday at 12:58 p.m. for an outstanding warrant through the Marysville Municipal Court. A deputy later met with an officer to take custody of him and was transported to Tri County Jail.
Officers charged Sherri L. Morrow, 53, of Columbus, during a traffic stop on U.S. 33 and Raymond Road for driving under suspension Thursday at 7 p.m.
Officers charged Devyn A. Reed, 18, of Allenby Drive, with possession of drugs today at 1:40 a.m.
Officers arrested and charged Gregory S. McKnight, 22, of 1050 Sherwood Ave., today at 4 a.m. with persistent disorderly conduct.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies along with assistance from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Marysville Police Department responded to a residence on East State Street in Milford Center Thursday at 1:02 a.m. for a report of a loud party. Deputies cited Annas Hussein Abdelkarim, 20, of Hilliard, for underage consumption. Caleb Thomas Newkirk, 18, of Columbus, was issued a citation for drug possession and paraphernalia.
A deputy picked up Zachary R. Mange, 30, of Delaware, from Multi-County Jail Thursday at 5:24 a.m. on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to Tri County Jail.
Deputies and personnel from Marysville Fire Department were sent to a residence in the 19000-block of Bellville Road Thursday at 5:52 a.m. for a possible overdose attempt. The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000-block of Jolly Road Thursday at 10:30 a.m. after the resident discovered loose lug nuts on multiple vehicles.
A deputy investigated the theft of a coin collection that was stolen from a residence in the 26000-block of Newton Perkins Road Thursday at 1:33 p.m.
A deputy was sent to the area of Route 4 and Routee 347 for an intoxicated male subject walking down the roadway Thursday at 1:37 p.m. Upon arrival, the deputy was able to determine that this behavior was a result of a verbal dispute.
A deputy met on station with a subject reporting the theft of medication Thursday at 2:28 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 15000-block of Meadowbrook Drive Thursday at 2:43 p.m. for a domestic dispute between residents.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 13000-lock of Route 347 for two males fighting Thursday at 4:56 p.m. Upon the deputies’ arrival, the subjects had been separated.
Wile following up on an assault case in the 14000-block of Route 347, deputies arrested Tomas R. Welch, 53, 146 Cottonwood Drive, Thursday at 4:56 p.m. for an outstanding warrant out of the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation then taken to the Tri County Jail.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 24000-block of Honda Parkway Thursday at 6:03 p.m. in reference to the theft of a 14-foot tandem axle enclosed utility trailer from the property.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 11000-block of U.S. 36 Thursday at 11:07 p.m. for a verbal dispute between subjects.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated an injury crash on U.S. 42 at mile post six Thursday at 7:04 p.m. Falil Nair, 44, of Powell, was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson southbound when he went left-of-center and struck Rick Cramer, 48, of Marengo, who was driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado. Nair was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital. A helmet was found at the scene, but troopers were unable to determine if Nair was wearing it at the time of the crash.
