Officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol and correction officers at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in locating an intoxicated male subject on the perimeter of the facility Thursday at 6:46 a.m.
Officers recovered a book bag from a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard Thursday at 9 a.m.
Officers arrested and charged Jeffrey G. Lawson, 59, of 718 Collins Ave., Apartment K, with domestic violence following an incident at his residence Thursday at 9:58 a.m.
A resident of Wilderness Road reported being the victim of an online scam Thursday at 10:52 a.m.
Officers charged Nicholas John Monnin, 25, of Broadway, Thursday at 12:07 p.m. with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
A resident of Coventry Place was transported by medics to Memorial Health after attempting self-harm Thursday at 4:23 p.m.
A resident of Glen Oaks Drive reported receiving unwanted text messages from a known male subject Thursday at 4:58 p.m.
A resident of Collins Avenue reported her debit card stolen and unauthorized purchases made by a known person Thursday at 5:50 p.m.
Officers charged Nicholas Allen Buttcane, 23, of Tehachapi, California, for soliciting without a permit following an incident on Boerger Road Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a dispute between neighbors on Grove Court Thursday at 8:08 p.m.
Officers charged John R. Woods, 28, of 105 ½ North Plum St., Apartment 5, with drving under suspension following a traffic stop on North Main Street today at 2:11 a.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a property damage crash Thursday at 5:45 a.m. in the 16000-block of Springdale Road involving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a deer.
Deputies investigated a trespassing complaint at a business in the 15000-block of Middleburg Plain City Road Thursday at 9:54 a.m. After further investigation, Leslie J. Beckley, 22, of Plain City, was arrested for criminal trespassing and was transported to Tri-County Jail.
While investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 9700-block of Industrial Parkway Thursday at 10:17 a.m., a deputy arrested Sherry A. Manausa, 43, of Marysville, for an outstanding warrant from Madison County. She was transported to Tri-County Jail.
Deputies assisted crews from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Liberty Township Fire Department at a barn fire in the 29000-block of Route 31. Liberty Township Fire Chief Lloyd Segner said the barn was abandoned and crews remained to ensure the blaze didn’t spread.
Deputies investigated a report of fraudulent credit card charges at a residence in the 12000-block of Kaiser Road Thursday at 2:40 p.m.
A deputy was sent to the area of Graham and Lynn Street Thursday at 5:48 p.m. in Richwood to locate a missing juvenile from Marion County. The juvenile was taken into custody and transferred to a marion County Deputy.
Deputies investigated a property crash Thursday at 6:37 p.m. at the exit ramp from U.S. 33 to Northwest Parkway involving a 2009 Honda Civic that was struck by a 1978 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The driver of the Honda, Amit Baviskar, 32, of Marysville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield.
A deputy met with a Milford Center resident Thursday at 9:02 p.m. to investigate a dispute involving a financial account.
Deputies assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a menacing complaint at a residence in the 200-block of North Franklin Street Thursday at 9:12 a.m.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers investigated a single-vehicle injury crash on Route 161 near mile post four this morning at 3:26 a.m. involving a 2007 Harley Davidson that veered off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned. The driver, Todd Schaffner, 53, of Mechanicsburg, was flown to OSU Medical Center in critical condition via MedFlight. He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol is suspected to play a role.
