Deputies responded to the 21000 block of Route 245 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe that failed to yield at a stop sign, drove off the roadway, struck a ditch and landscaping rocks causing the vehicle to roll several times until it came to a stop Thursday at 4:26 a.m. The driver of the Santa Fe, Shawn A. Hampton, 27, of Springfield, was issued a citation for failure to control.
A deputy and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire Department, and Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 16000 block of Robinson Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2008 Chevrolet that drove off the roadway, striking a mailbox and tree Thursday at 8:04 a.m. One person was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Northwest Parkway at the U.S. 33 westbound off ramp to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Honda Accord that struck a 2001 Lincoln LS.
A deputy went to a residence in the 10000 block of Sonoma Court to investigate a report of unauthorized charges being made on the victim’s credit card Thursday at 4:46 p.m.
A deputy went to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 347 to investigate a dispute over purchasing a horse Thursday at 4:55 p.m.
A deputy went to the 13000 block of County Home Road to investigate a complaint of juveniles riding dirt bikes unsafely on the roadway Thursday at 6:49 p.m.
